• Verified traveler (10/5): Good Value - Excellent little gem of a motel in Ft Scott. Reasonable rates. Safe, secure, owner lives on site. Nice, comfortable no-frills place to stay.

• Lori (8/5): This was my 3rd time to stay here for business and while it's not fancy it is comfortable and clean. - The owner is always very helpful. The black out curtains in the room really work! No cup for the bathroom.
• Robert (3/5): Short - I liked that it was cheap We couldn't work the tv it was impossible to figure out, air conditioning was loud, soap was like sandpaper, it was clean but sheets were stained, we had 2 refrigerators but one looked like it had splattered blood on the front, we were not going to open it to check for a body.

• Sharlie (10/5): - I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. I just needed an overnight stay in my trip. I got there late, like 10:30 pm. They had turned on my ac and had my room all ready. Super sweet staff. Comfortable bed. Deep tub. Big room. Intend to stay again on trip home.

The person who checked us in went and unlocked our room, turned on the air conditioning and TV before we ever got in the room (ensuring everything worked). She was very courteous and professional. This is a VERY GOOD DEAL! The low cost of the room, the cleanliness and wonderful attitude of the young lady made for a good stay. I'll stay here again! I liked everything!
• 264ggw (2/5): DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DIRTY ASS RACIST HOTEL. - I’m going to be as honest about my experience. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE or there family here honestly . The owners are hella weird n racist . Room was nasty m smells like a dead person . Owners try in come in your room WITH NO PERMISSION like wtf is really goin on . Air barely works , the towels n the wash rags had random nasty ass stains on them n one of my wash rags had a dead fly on it . Don’t get me wrong the room is nice until you really realize what you’re staying in . FLITH. Honestly there are better hotels in fort Scott that are probably the same price as this for one night so honestly go for the better option don’t waste your money here .

Air conditioning was not on prior to arrival so room was extremely hot for awhile while we waited for it to cool down. Sheets were clean but stained.  Fluorescent lights were awful. We did feel safe there.

• Paul (5/5): Passable - This is an old motel but is in decent shape. It's right on the main street through town, and heading west in the morning I got to the cute historic downtown, which had a nice coffee shop. The price was extremely low, which was why I took a chance on it. The room was in decent shape as regards TV, bathroom fixtures, etc. and was clean aside from...(see below). My request for a non-smoking room was bungled somewhere and I got put in a smoking room, so of course it reeked fairly badly. I was able to sleep soundly, but someone else might not have been.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Ok for price - The window ac/heater was noisy and did not regulate temp well. Seems to hot or cold. I had a easy check in with the room clean, and adequate for the price. Nice to havesome light near bed to read.
• Kenneth (6/5): - This is an old hotel in fair condition. Our room smelled like cigars. Not the hotels fault, but. No ice or breakfast , but did have refrig and microwave. Internet worked well. We always like when we can park at the room door.

My only issue was finding out that had I not arrived when I did the room would be occupied. I gave them my card on line so it seemed it would hold it. She tried to reach me but I missed the call. Why did she need to call me?
• Jamie (4/5): - The lady behind the desk was very rude. Online it says pet friendly, it is not! Luckily my dog is a registered service animal so they allowed us to stay with him. The hotel was dirty and one of the beds was broken and unusable. There was a shirtless man who appeared to be high sitting in the parking lot digging through the pebbles all night and management claimed he was there often, yet did nothing about it. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be back!

• Tiffany (8/5): Did not honor price - I was upset that even though the price was supposed to be guaranteed And it was supposed to be a pet friendly location once I got there to check in they made me pay extra for my pet. No ice machines or vending. No dining or convenient stores in sight. Other than that It was excellent.

• David (8/5): Cold room - It took the heater several hours to warm the room up where we could take our jackets off. The restroom was so cold we decided not to shower. When I woke up in the middle of the night the room the room was very warm and the restroom had warmed up so I turned the heater down.

• SethySB (2/5): Stains - Our room had stains on EVERYTHING, no exaggeration. The sheets, blankets, and even furniture had stains from previous tenants... We ended up staying anyway and sleeping on our own sheets and blankets but the heater (which did make some heat) didn't heat the room so it was cold all night.
• V6567YBjoel (10/5): Azure Sky Motel - I stayed here a total of about 18 days. Very nice motel and can't beat it for the price. Very clean the owners cleaned the room everyday. Owners were very nice. No vending machine but had sodas in the office. I will definitely be staying here next go around. Don't know what the other reviewer is talking about but that was a yr ago...didn't have any problems while I stayed here
• ke259 (2/5): This Motel Should Be Your Last Option!!! - I was trying to save money (cheap) so I planned on staying three nights at this motel. Bad decision! First the good, the owners were friendly, except the woman owner. they also had flat screen T.V. Now the bad; The motel on par with sleeping in a tent. There were flies, flies, and more flies in the room along with spiders. The carpet was stained, broken lamp shades with no bulbs, Towels so thin you can see your hand. The bathrooms was so small that if you sat on the toliet you would hit your chin on the sink. Lopsided beds. Did I mention flies? I went to the office to see if the owner had any bug spray and she said no and that she has flies in her room also. Wow. You're an owner and you live in those condition. There's limited parking and no ice machine or any other vending machine for that matter. This motel is strictly for contractors and people that obviously don't care how the sleep at night. Needless to say I didn't make it for my three nights. If you stay here make sure you bring your own linen, bug spray, and towels. Otherwise sleep in a tent, you will be more comfortable.
