Glenda (4/5): Disappointed - There was no breakfast, location was good There was no ac available, fridge didn’t work properly so our food was spoiled and I just couldn’t wait to leave. The day before the manager came up to ask us if it wasn’t time for us to leave instead of checking before he came to us. He was just happy to collect our US dollars. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this property also dogs were barking constantly during the night and the kids at the school next to our room was just so noisy. Thought I would have had an enjoyable birthdate.

Kimesha (7/5): My First Experience at Little Shaw Park Guest House - I liked the ambience and the interactiveness of the staff. Also, the room was good. I believe the kitchenette could use some work in terms of having complimentary items for your guests...in case ( sugar, tea mix, etc). A little household items like bleach, soap, and cleaning detergent.

Wayne (6/5): Good value for the money but.... - Overall I would give our stay 3-4 stars. The hotel (rooms/grounds) were VERY clean. The hotel was very basic but suited my wife and I purpose as we were on a working vacation ( if that makes sense). Off the beaten path but good value for the money. A good place to stay if you are on a budget. Just know that you need a car as the main of the town is 10 mins away. The only issues we had were we not told you had to pay cash upfront for our stay. We were not told this when we booked the property as usually just use my credit card to pay our stay on this platform. Also we had issues connecting to the wi-fi. Other than that a good place for the budget conscious traveler.

Claudette (2/5): Not a good tourist accommodation - First we did not get the price quoted on Hotels.com, then they claimed they did not get the reservation request and did not have the rooms we requested. We were then to.d that they only accept cash and asked for $20.00 more per room. The sheets were torn and or stained, towels were worn out. The beds were uncomfortable at best. Coupled with the lack of respect demonstrated by the owner chain smoking in the office, I would not recommend this place.
Arcaydayah (2/5): You have been warned - Well I have to be honest after reading the reviews I was a little concerned that as this was a last minute and there was nowhere else ready to go I ended up booking I was supposed to stay for two weeks and only stayed for one night This is a husband-and-wife couple and although the husband is very sweet the wife is totally off her head screaming and shouting and treat their staff like that I would not recommend going there it is out of the way and unless you are driving I would not recommend although the only good thing I can say is the place was clean Also every little thing they will try and charge you for it is very expensive and has nothing to give at all personally I would not recommend anybody staying in this place
William (10/5): Hidden Gem less than a mile from Ocho - A gem that no one knows about. It’s less than a mile from Ocho and very quiet and sweet. She is a treat to meet; I had met her before; but she was delightful; her Jamaican Husband is a treasure . Very nice, clean; affordable. I can’t say enough nice things about the property. Over 20 rooms to chose from. Get there before 8pm to enjoy meeting her ( introduce yourself); she is very sweet.

Verified traveler (6/5): Good for the price! - Quiet area, but within 15 mins walk to both downhill to the town centre, and uphill towards the Konoko Falls and Shaw Park gardens. Suited me perfectly fine. My bedroom's facilities were okay (perhaps an addition of a kettle and cup would have been beneficial!) and the private ensuite bathroom is more than useful better than others i've seen in Jamaica. however some of the furniture is a little worn and old fashioned, and there was practically no natural daylight coming into my room (upstairs, top floor), so i'd have to say that the windows/net curtains are not adequate. However, in front of my external door, is a balcony, chair and table, so i chilled there, more so than in the chalet/guest room itself. I recommend Little Shaw Park Guest House for short stays, especially if you like getting out and about for long periods during the days/evenings. :)
James P (10/5): Stay At Little Shaw Park! - Little Shaw Park is one of the nicest places I have stayed in Jamaica - and I know Jamaica. This was my 61st trip to the island, and I have stayed all over. From guest houses to large resorts. Little Shaw Park was immaculate, quiet, and the staff was very helpful. I'd highly recommend Little Shaw Park to anyone wanting great accommodations!

The location is not good and if you don't know Jamaica you wouldn't know this. The hotel only takes cash which we weren't told by the travel agent. Our room had connecting doors that we couldn't lock. We could hear everything going on in the next room - use your imagination! We would not recommend to any one unless you just want a room for the night and you don't mind where it is. On the good side it was fairly clean and had hot water for a shower.

The place is well taken care of, and its nearby to all the major attractions in the town. The owners and staff were nice to me and gave good service, and most of all it was value for my money. I would recommend any traveller to stay there.
