Guest Reviews
- Andy (10/5): - A lovely period hotel where the staff were very professional and friendly n/a
- Cynthia (10/5): - Lovely boutique hotel and so convenient to getting around in New York. The staff so helpful and friendly. Everything was great.
- Russell (9/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): - You can't beat the location - close to everything I was looking for in midtown. The room was large enough for my stay and had a great view of St. Patrick's on the corner of Fifth Avenue. I had trouble connecting to and maintaining the connection to the wi-fi. I'm not sure if my room was just further from the router but that was frustrating.
- Ian (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic central location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely return again to 3 West Club if visiting NY - The location was perfect for a stay in Manhattan. Vey clean and very comfortable beds. Everything was positive about the property. No issues with anything.
- Judith (10/5): -
- Clifford (5/5): disappointing - the staff Hotel is sold as a higher quality experience but when I walked into the room it was like they had tried to upgrade grandmas old house. 2 comfortable beds ...double...tiny tv in far right corner of the room high on the wall with a black cord hanging at an angle from it. A yellowy beige drapy half obscured the screen. It looked really outdated but not in a quaint way. It looked like a motel on highway 66 that got moved to NYC so they charged more ...because its NYC. The foyer is very impressive but the room was really NOT impressive. I was glad to be there one night only.
- Julie (10/5): - All

- John (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

- Liza (10/5): I had to extend my stay due to the snow storm and booked 3 West Club last minute. The location is amazing and the hotel - The location Nothing. Everything was great
- Alison (10/5): -
- Samantha (9/5): Stay here for the Location - I insist. - The location of 3 West Club is unmatched - it is in an excellent location especially at Christmas Time. The Rockefeller Christmas Tree was so close and we could see the Sak's 5th Avenue Light Show from our window. It was so easy to walk everywhere being in this location. The staff were always friendly when we saw them in the lobby and so helpful. The room was great, we stayed in a twin room, and for the middle of New York it was bigger than expected. The cloak room/wardrobe was super helpful to hang our coats to dry out of night. I would insist to friends and family they must stay here. The only slight negative we had was we couldn't find out how to get access to the balcony/restaurant pictured in the photos to see the church and street view from up high.
- Alison (10/5): -
- Laurie (8/5): Centrally located and clean - Ice machine out
- Sunil (7/5): charming hotel - location is great
- Stephanie (9/5): - FANTASTIC location!!!
- Charlotte (10/5): Another superb stay at the 3 West Club! - An absolute stellar location in midtown Manhattan, this hotel will appeal to those who prefer a small "boutique" property. The building being older means the doors are heavy/thick. Ceilings are high, all leading to a quiet environment. Rooms are attended to daily by housekeeping, linen is soft and a big plus for me at least...you can open the windows for fresh air. Sadly, they no longer serve a breakfast. However, there is nothing else that I find to be a negative.
- Marcus (10/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): Great location - Location, hotel room was generally clean. Mattress was comfortable. The pillows were way too big and uncomfortable. Outdated building, took me forever to unlock the door with the key. The lifts are slow.
- Mari (6/5): Save your money. - The location was good. The coffee tasted like sewage. Overpriced.
- Doron (9/5): -
- Filip (10/5): -
- Stephanie (9/5): Overall it was a great stay and the location was absolutely perfect … especially at Christmas time. - Amazing location. Kind staff. Rooms were clean. Comfortable bed. My ONLY complaint is that the room was freezing, and we had no control over the heat. We were given a space heater (which solved the problem!) but only after we asked what our options were. They knew the rooms were cold - I wish they would have offered the space heater on arrival so the first night wasn’t miserable.
- Gary (10/5): -
- Myriam (10/5): Very pleasant. Friendly staff. - Location, location, location. Nice room very comfortable bed.

- Paolo (10/5): -
- Timothy (5/5): Disappointed yet hopeful! - Convenient Location and the daytime receptionist, complimentary bottles of water, antique furniture. Unclean elevator, no refrigerator, small rooms. The night manager was either confused or he was prejudiced against us for informing us that the hotel was sold out when we asked about extending our stay. after checking out of the hotel and picking up the luggage that they held for us, we learned from the day receptionist that the hotel was in fact, not sold out at all. Quite disappointing!
- Ali (10/5): -
- Chris (9/5): - If I could give the location more than the rating I did I would, we stayed her in the Christmas run in and it was utterly perfct, handy to Central Park, Broadway Theatres and Rockerfeller. The room was a warm at night and our Air Con didn't seem to work. That is my only criticism of the hotel.
- Kathy (7/5): Great location. - Terrific location!! Room was so cold the first evening. Staff did provide a space heater. Unfortunately two days the water was cold. Just hate to spend time solving that. So we just took cold showers.
- jean-yves (10/5): - ETONNANT. EMPLACEMENT IDEAL .AMBIANCE NEW YORK.
VRAIMENT EXCEPTIONNEL.
PERSONNEL ATTENTIF ET DISCRET. 2 NUITS AVANT WASHINGTON, C'ETAIT VRAIMENT TROP COURT .
JE REVIENDRAI PLUS LONGTEMPS AVEC BEAUCOUP DE PLAISIR.
- Deborah (9/5): Comfortable bed & great view from our window - It was centrally located When I booked it, I saw that the hotel had free breakfast and I didn’t see any food anywhere or even a restaurant inside
- Graham (9/5): -
- Graham (9/5): - Very central
- Ramon (10/5): -
- SvenH77 (8/5): Great hotel for short holiday in New York. Centrally located. - Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Cleaning was neat. The bed was good as well.
Location was very good, near to central park and time square. Not a lot of noise at night, Interior is somewhat outdated.
- Kaitlyn (9/5): Perfect. - excellent, great location. The guy at the desk told me there were no phone chargers when there was one on the desk in my room the whole time, but I didn't even look because he told me there wasn't one...
- Tanja (8/5): -
- Laurel (10/5): Right near radio city, a hidden gem. - The old charm. They also were prompt to resolve an issue with the shower.
- Audrey (10/5): - 3 West Club is a picturesque hotel with a classical elegant look situated in an ideal area of the city. It is right across from the Rockefeller, Lego Store and beautiful St. Patrick's Cathedral; also a short walk to the subway, Times Square, the Broadway Theatre District, and Central Park. Lots of access to shopping and restaurants nearby. We could also take longer walks to Korea Town, the UN, and other sites. We were also grateful to the staff who were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and lovely. The only reason I didn't give a 5 for facilities is the room size was small-ish (we were in one with 2 twin size beds) and when I tried to turn on the heating at night it wasn't warm air coming out of the vents, just cold air, so I turned off the temp system after 5 minutes. Maybe it takes a while for an older building? I did like they included an umbrella in our closet just in case it rained. Very thoughtful! Thank you 3 West Club team for making our stay wonderful and memorable!
- Annabelle (10/5): - We had a fantastic time and the staff were lovely. Truly a great experience.
- Carrie (9/5): -
- Constance (10/5): Superb! - The staff at the reception desk could not have been nicer.
- Julia (8/5): - Room was clean and the staff was friendly. Amazing location. Docking a point because the wifi doesnt work. I brought it up twice with the front desk and it was never remedied.
- John (10/5): - Charming place; great location!
- Rocco (10/5): - Great hotel and perfect location
- John (6/5): - The room was clean and the staff were great. It was a very small one room facility with one king size bed. The room was advertised as a superior double room with king bed. It was not a double room so I don’t know what that’s supposed to mean. The brochure and advertisement stated that there was 24 hour best service, restaurant and limited service. The advertisement neglected that the restaurant and bar were not open on the weekend. If I had known, there was no restaurant as advertise, I WOULD NOT stayed there. I will not book a reservation in this hotel or recommended it.
- Laurie (6/5): - Great central location near everything we wanted to do. It is an older building but we really appreciate the beauty of the place! We did book a Superior King Suite but the room had a queen bed. Other than that, all the staff were wonderful and accommodating. We had a lovely dinner in the dining room and visited the bar a couple of times!
- ALLISTER (10/5): - Check in was very efficient and very friendly
- Joseph (8/5): - 3 West Club is a quaint and charming place to stay in the heart of NYC. The rooms are small and a bit dated — as you might expect in NYC — but clean and comfortable. Using an actual key for your room adds a nostalgic touch. The location is truly unbeatable, just a block from Rockefeller Center and a short walk to Times Square. Overall, a very nice stay.
- Danielle (10/5): - Great location for ease. Rooms and bathroom had plenty of space, especially for a big city. The only downside if I had to say something was the lack of a refrigerator and outlets not super easy to access. Other than that, it was a great stay.
- Sarah (10/5): - Amazing staff and beautiful building. The staff sets the place apart. Great humans
- Anurag (10/5): - We will stay here again. Hidden jewel in the heart of midtown
- Francisco (10/5): Perfect for our stay in NY - Nice people, comfy beds, clean, and in a nice spot in the city!
- Richard (10/5): We will be back! - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Extremely comfortable stay!
- Cheryl (6/5): - No food available at the hotel, however they did recommend a good place for breakfast close by which was helpful. The location was excellent. While the hotel is old, the bed was comfortable, the facilities were adequate, however our room had an adjoining door and you could hear muffled voices quite easily. A small fridge would have been handy, especially in the heat.
- Marta (9/5): -
- Connor (7/5): -
- Peter (7/5): Old school hotel in a very good location in Manhattan - Great location close to Central Park, Time Square and Radio City Music Hall. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The WiFi drops occasionally. Doors a bit hard to open. Rooms do connect to other rooms so you can hear the guests staying in the other room very well. They don’t stock spare rolls of toilet paper.
- Victoria (6/5): - Pillows and bedding was
- Verified traveler (10/5): Old school gem. - Great location. Nice staff. Nice change of pace from big chains
- Katherine (10/5): Great old school hotel. - Very comfortable. Love that it has real brass room keys and windows that open all the way! Friendly staff, great location.
- Edward (10/5): - What a delightful find in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Midtown. All was good.
- Michael (10/5): - It was beautiful nice and quiet
- Edward (10/5): - Traveled for business. Convenient location at a good price
- Rebecca (10/5): Will definitely come back! - Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds. Kept up very nicely and extremely clean. Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of charm while also being convenient in its amenities.
- Lungisani (2/5): - Didn't like.
- Wendy Catherine Elizabeth (8/5): - The hotel was nice. In a good location. Quiet. No mini fridge in the room. Would stay there again.
- Tim (10/5): - This is a very clean, basic, affordable , and lovely hotel. Its location is ideal for Midtown Manhattan. It’s basic in that there’s few amenities. No workout room, fridge in the room, etc. It’s also older. They have real metal keys, for example. But it was clean throughout the hotel and the staff is kind and helpful. It’s also near about a million things to do. So if you want a clean place to stay while you dig into Manhattan, this place is great.
- Verified traveler (10/5): You get what you pay for, in a good way. - This quaint little hotel is located just a block west of the St. Patrick's Cathedral, and two blocks south of 5th Avenue/53rd Street Station. That means it's accessible from both JFK and LGA airports, and close to attractions such as Broadway and the Rockefeller Center. The building is a bit old, but that makes it charming. Room keys are still metal keys that go into the doors, and turning it to open my room was a bit tricky. The beds and TV were of good quality, but the bathtub still had some dust and hair from either a maid or a previous guest inside. Nothing a quick rinse on my part couldn't fix, so I won't complain. It's pricey to stay in this part of NYC, but you definitely get what you pay for. If I ever have the privilege of visiting NYC again I'll try to book this place again.
- Carla (10/5): - Location, Location, Location.
- dave (10/5): - Wonderful stay. Great hotel and great staff. Amazing location!
We will stay here again.
- Jennifer (10/5): - 3 West Club is my favorite property in New York City. Price is the only thing that would prohibit me from staying there for every visit but the cost is very much in line with comparable New York properties. Excellent in every way!
- Melinda (10/5): - Nice room and a fast elevator- sometimes an issue in NYC! Would definitely stay again
- Cheryl (10/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): - Bed was extremely uncomfortable, tiny room with carpet from 1920
- Derrick (10/5): - .
- Hitt (9/5): An amazing building! Comfortable, quiet, and clean - Historical
- Dawn (10/5): - This was a great hotel located in a perfect part of Manhattan. Loved the historic charm, but it was updated to be comfortable. Staff are all helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.
- Amy (10/5): - Excellent location not nearly a block from St. Patrick’s and an easy walk to the theaters. Small and quiet property with excellent staff. We will definitely stay there again.
- Glorianne (1/5): Staff uninformed and unhelpful. Lifts filthy. Facilities not available to hotel guests - Location is good Everything besides location.
- Helen (10/5): - Excellent location close to Rockefeller, 5th Avenue and many other amenities. Very comfortable beds and quiet at night.
- Shulaika (10/5): - The BEST place in Manhattan!!
