• Francesca (7/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in una tripla io e altri viaggiatori. Nulla da ridire, c'era tutto il necessario. Letti comodi, A/C e acqua calda: non sempre scontata in Asia! :) Posizione non troppo centrale, ma sia a piedi che con bici/moto, si arriva davvero in pochissimo ovunque. Nulla, tutto bene :)

• Maria Belen (5/5): Flojo y caro - Bookeando sobre la fecha podemos decir que nos gusto la ubicación ya que era lo único disponible. Al llegar a la habitación nos dimos cuenta que nos habian dado una habitación inferior a la que habiamos bookeado, eran las 11 de la noche y la señora -con un inglés muy limitado- nos dijo que la habitación que nosotros habiamos bookeado estaba ocupada y que al siguiente dia nos harían el cambio de habitación. Lo cual, no solo no ha sucedido, sino que tampoco hemos recibido un reembolso por parte del hotel por la diferencia de categoría de la habitación. A su vez, la habitación NO estaba en condiciones de higiene correctas ya que se observaba polvo en el piso, las sabanas lucian sucias y manchadas, las toallas se notaban percudidas y había objetos de higiene del huésped anterior como una espoja de baño y unos saquets de shampoo abiertos. Muy desagradable.

• Brian (10/5): Super friendly homestay, 1km from centre. - Lovely room only homestay, around a 15 minute walk into town via a bridge. There were lots of food and drink options nearby. Friendly lady owner, always smiling. Pleasant garden, small balcony in our room. We stayed in a room with two double beds so plenty of space to unpack and spread out. You can look at other reviews to see drawbacks but for the cost, I would largely ignore these. It was good value.

• corinne (3/5): Déception : forte humidité dans la chambre - Le jardin Le confort du matelas QUELLE DÉCEPTION !!! La chambre que j’ai eue est au RDC. Dès l’ouverture de la porte, l’odeur d’humidité vous saisit. J’ai demandé à être dans une autre chambre, à priori c’était complet. Heureusement je n’avais réservé que 2 nuits alors qu’initialement j’avais envisagé 3 nuits. Les rideaux ont des tâches de moisissures, le lavabo aussi et la grille d’aération n’a pas été lavée depuis des années. J’ai même eu un doute sur la propreté des draps, du coup j’ai dormi dans mon duvet. Les 2 matins, j’avais des quintes de toux car la gorge me grattait. Ce n’est pas du tout correct de louer cette chambre d’autant que le problème est bien connu car même le lit n’est pas collé au mur. Par chance je ne suis pas asthmatique et n’ai pas de problèmes respiratoires car cela aurait pu être dangereux pour ma santé. Je ne recommande cet homestay en tout en ce qui concerne la chambre du RDC. Je n’ai pas vu les autres chambres donc je ne peux pas dire si le problème existe aussi.

• Marta (5/5): Normal - Estaba enfrente del lago Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que habíamos reservado una habitación doble solo para una persona, por lo que teníamos que pagar más por ser dos personas en una habitación doble (algo que no entendimos ya que siempre reservamos de la misma manera y nunca nos había pasado nada).

• Nick (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed here for around a month total, the area is amazing, the family are really kind and attentive. The garden is very nice in the mornings and you can watch water buffalo walking past. A fair price for a nice simple roon with a balcony. Would highly recommend

The room was super big with amazing sights to the river and a comfortable bed and clean toilet with toilet paper. They also lent us bikes for free to go around and made breakfast for us. We had a very good stay at Windy River

• Liisa (7/5): Good - The hosts were friendly. You could buy breakfast there (cost 50vnd) which was simple but good. There were free bikes to use. First we booked 1 night, and we didn't get the room we booked. However, we stayed there for two nights and on the second night we got the right room. There was a laundry service which I dont't recommend. It was weird. They lost at least one of my socks, and gave me back some clothes that weren't mine.
• Zin (5/5): I will not be stay again and owner need to renovate this home. - The location is very near to the old town. The room is not so bad can stay a family with 4 beds There has been no maintenance, and there is mold on the wall. The paint on the art is also not color. The pillow, blanket, and bed are dirty and smell. In the Bath's room, only a shampoo bottle and toothpastes. There is no shower cream, no water and there are not enough towers.

• Stephanie (4/5): 10 minutes walk to main attractions but needs to improve on cleanliness. - Pleasant host and location good for the price - 10 minutes walk to the bridge for the border of Hoi An old town, and 10 minutes to Memories land. Three-four bikes available for use. Disappointed at the cleanliness of the room (dust and plenty of rubbish in the room), no covers for the blankets, mouldy pillows and blocked shower drain. Breakfast was simple 1 banana pancake or 1 egg omelette with a white bread roll, which was tasty but not enough to be full for breakfast. We had reasonably low expectations for a room for this price but this needs a lot of improvement to be comfortable.

• Braden (8/5): incredible for the price - Ive stayed in multiple homestays during my many visits to Hoi An and this is is by far the best value for money. It’s the cheapest one i have stayed in so i was bit nervous but it was extremely clean and comfortable and I was shocked to have a room with a balcony and plenary of natural light at that price point. The air conditioning worked great although it wasn’t really needed due to the weather. I asked for my sheets changed after my first night because i went to be quite dirty the night before and they changed them immediately which i appreciate. The location is excellent as well. There isn’t much right near bye except for Mays cafe right across the street which is excellent, but you are only a short 10 minute walk from old town and the best Banh Mi in hoi an (the guy on the old town side of the bridge).

• Hannaa (1/5): Scam Owner! Would give 0/5 stars if possible - We booked the higher priced 4x double bed studio due to needing the fridge for medical supplies and cooking. Upon arrival the owner told us this room didn’t exist, and tried to force us into a 1 double bed room. We refused and she reluctantly moved us into a 2 double bed room. When we told we her we needed a fridge for medical supplies she laughed and tried to give us back her money as we booked far in advance and she knew she could get a higher rate for in person new guests. We reluctantly were forced to stay but the next day we found the 4 double bed room and confronted her telling her it was not professional. Once again she laughed in our face and walked off. Furthermore, the duvet had no cover and therefore unlikely it had been washed prior to being given to us, there was only one duvet for two double beds so we had to go down again to ask for more. There were lots of ants on the walls and the aircon would shut off in the middle of the night to the point we’d wake up in hot sweats. Wouldn’t advise anyone, especially tourists to stay here.

• Hoa (8/5): Will come back next time. - The room was clean and comfortable. The host is quite helpful and welcoming. The hotel also provides bicycles so that we can drive around the town in the early morning . The room with 4 double beds should have more fans because 1 air conditioner couldn't be enough for a large room like that.

The name of the place is perfect, you can feel the wind blowing. the room was big and the mattress comfortable. we had a beautiful balcony. Really quiet during the night. warm and strong shower. Clean. breakfast included. You can park your motorbike inside. For the price you pay, is really good. Friendly and sweet staff.

We stayed 5 nights and they didn't clean our room once. We had to ask for a broom to sweep up dirt and sand. The rental scooters were sketchy.

It’s not very crowded, almost all rooms were empty. The place looks like it’s renovating at the moment, so it’s a bit messy all around.

• Anonymous (4/5): Worst homestay in Vietnam - Price point was good reluctant to use her because of communication. Location was too far from sights. Lots of problems due to Very poor communication: we were never told about breakfast and since the owner was not around we went elsewhere. We learned that there were bicycles to use but were never told about them. The owner was unable to use google translate.

• Parmitag (5/5): Give this a miss - The location was 10 mins. from old town. The lady stayed up till midnight as my flight was delayed. Where do I start. The bed linen and towels stank they hadn't been washed forever, I didn't bother to ask as the lady was not very friendly, but, my skin itched every night. There was no bath soap. Most sockets didn't work. There was old broken furniture stored in my balcony. The supposed 'breakfast' consisted of 1 small cup of coffee and 1 small banana pancake. I was refused a coffee refill or even drinking water (was told to pay for bottles they sell) by the lady. Her husband was nicer. I don't recommend staying here, which is a shame as the place has so much potential.
