- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent stay with basic requirements fulfilled - Very near to Golden court restaurant (which was the reason why I booked this hotel - attend a wedding dinner). It's just across the street without much walking required. Lots of fast food and bubble tea nearby, quite convenient (dobi, mr.diy etc) to support your last minute needs. Room is quite small with limited walking space, booked business suite and the desk was quite accommodating. Only downsides: water pressure low, room facing a restaurant's back so got some oily smell in the room from time to time, room small, no toothbrush provided, booked 2 nights and they only granted my access card for one night - was surprised when I couldn't enter the room 😅

Positive - clean enough rooms - firm beds and soft pillows - warm shower with strong enough water pressure - free WiFi & cold aircon - friendly staff though they double up with other roles (acceptable as small set up...housed in a 2 storey shop lot) - ample car park and free - toiletries minus toothbrush, free mineral water, tea and coffee which is plus point. - located along the same row of this shop lot are sushi king, another hotel possible belonging to them too, Ramly Burger Fast food joint-yes you read correct & you are allowed to buy ya favourite ramly products while enjoying ya meal. - walking distance (not more than 400 meters) to Chinese restaurant, bubble tea cafe by tealife, 24 hours convenient shop, cafe, Muslim food, local coffee shops and best of all is the Big enough local hyper market named TF value mart for your groceries, clothes, toiletries and etc. located opposite the main road as one drives off this main towards the hotel. - just off the city...5 mins by car - lots of fruit stalls fm the city to the hotel Negative - nothin comes to mind 👍 Conclusion:- We will return when we wanna plough city life for local food and atmosphere. - malaichai (6/5): A 1 Star Rated Hotel - This property is built within a 2 storey shop-lot. Only less than 10 min drive away from the town centre. Pretty convenient to find food & beverage outlets nearby. Check in was done a little slow by the friendly staff. There's an elevator for those with heavy baggage but certainly it is much quicker to just walk up or get down via the staircase. Was assigned an average looking triple room facing the side lane adjacent to another building. The bed could be a little hard for some people. Water heater is noisy when operating and the grouting in the bathroom should be a concern by the hotel manager. Complimentary bottles of mineral water, bath towels, bath gel and shampoo as well a wall mounted TV with limited channels are provided by the hotel. However mini fridge nor in room safe is part of the offered amenities. Would only recommend this place for a brief one night stay. Reason... +ve... value for money, convenience & free n easy parking, -ve... your neighbours could be rather noisy due to non sound proof wall.

- wenych (8/5): Random stay - Bentong is a small town in Pahang. So, it was not a problem to travel around the town even if we stay at Tumike Hotel. It was a decent place to stay with affordable price. They even gave us breakfast coupon when we checked in, the restaurant for the breakfast is just 1-2 mins walk from the hotel.

- Jo-AnnKYTan (6/5): No frills! - We were annoyed with the receptionist because she told us that this hotel is within walking distance from Bentong Walk. It is NOT! It is near but within driving distance. Also, we must have stayed there at a wrong time because that night, the nextdoor company decided to hold a family event that include loud music and people speaking via mics. Very annoying. Other than that, this is quite a comfy hotel. No frills. No hairdryer. No extra pillows, "no more" we were told when we called. There's restaurants around the hotel so no fear of starvation.
- SKYElaine (6/5): Pleasant stay - This is a budget hotel. Very nice and clean. Staff is very attentive. They provide Old Town White Coffee voucher as their breakfast which is behind the hotel. You may visit the Chamang Water Fall and other local and delicious food nearby. They do have lift service which is convenience to elderly. The only weak point is that their room sound proof is very poor.
- hooilingling (10/5): Clean budget hotel - The hotel located very near to the town, just few minutes drive from the hotel. Near to those famous food stalls. Chatime and sushi king just downstairs and there's a supermarket across the road. Hotel room was cozy and clean, worth the price. Hotel take RM100 deposit per night. They will provide free breakfast coupon at old town white coffee but there's many complaints from other guests so we didn't go for breakfast. Cons: wifi not really stable and can clearly hear sounds from outside the room. But overall satisfied, will stay in the same hotel next time.

When we arrived, we were surprised with complimentary breakfast coupons at Oldtown White Coffee down the road. It was a very good surprise that made our day. Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and we all managed to have a good sleep. If you're looking for a no-frills hotel just to sleep, this hotel is it.

Its a small town and we were driving so no problem with the location though its not in the town centre. There is a big super mart opposite the main road so quite convenient if you lack of any thing. - jonathany689 (6/5): Cheap but noisy - This hotel is located next to sushi king and adjacent to a phone shop ( OPPO ). There is also alot of parking spots available around the hotel. This hotel is very value for money. My room that I stayed is a family room. The rooms comes with aircon and hot water showers. The walls of the room are thin and you can even hear people talking outside the room. The staff of the hotel are very Friendly. The breakfast they offer is at old town white Coffee. They will give you a RM 5 old town white coffee coupon to you upon your visit. The food at the old town white coffee is terrible. The Mee hon classic is so Oily. The chocolate drink is very sweet. This hotel is really not bad if you can avoid the noise.

- GoingSoloNepal (6/5): Value for $$ 'no frills' Hotel - Stayed one night over the weekend for a hike trip to 2 waterfalls. We got in to Bentong in time for lunch, at a restaurant just beside the Hotel. Our party of 55 occupied all 33 rooms, and some managed to check-in before 2.00pm. The Hotel was kind enough to accommodate our late check-out request, as we were late coming back from the waterfall. The no-frills rooms are small and compact, with standard basic amenities – Tea /coffee-making facilities, hot shower, TV, etc. Rooms are clean with friendly, helpful staff. Less than a year old, Tumike Hotel is located in a new developed area, is still relatively quiet with several eating places within walking distance. Though the walls are not sound proof, the noise level was manageable and did not disturb our sleep. Our AC didn’t seem to work. Our end room faced west, getting the full force of the afternoon sun through windows on two sides of the room. We highlighted the issue to Management, who duly came and checked and concluded that our setting was incorrect. Not true. That night, though we had the AC on full blast, it only got cooler 2 hours after we got back at 9pm. The elevator broke down that night, trapping a 12-year old boy from our group, who was rescued 15 minutes later. Some rooms experienced power cut during that period. The elevator was out of action until mid-morning the next day. Luckily, there are only 2 floors, so walking up / down was not an issue. The hotel provides breakfast vouchers which can be redeemed at Old Town Kopitiam. The hotel is an ideal base to Chamang Waterfall / Lata Hammers Waterfall, approximately 15 minutes drive and Bentong town. Parking is free and easily available. For meals, it was easy walking to Mr Crocodile for dinner and Old Town Kopitiam for breakfast. Sushi King is just next door, as are convenience stores, supermarket and other services. The Hotel tries its best to please its guests. Will come again.

- lourencechee (6/5): Ok loh - Not far from town..have sushi king under the hotel....chatime..old town...ramli burger shop..and some mamak..but the room is not sound proof..abit noisy when those kampung customer stay beside ur room..

Nice wooden floor. I stay in room 203 and it's quite spacious compare to amount I pay. Cons: Far from Bentong town. Road traffic always busy during weekend. Less public transport compare to Kuala Lumpur city. Summary: RM98 per night for double bed room. Value for money. I'm writing this comments on 29th April 2016. Since everything is new, I strongly recommend for this hotel and give 5 star rating.

- Verified traveler (8/5): New hotel in town. Value for money. - The hotel is new. The room is cozy. Plenty parking space. But i got stucked for 5 minutes in the lift. The hotel staff was panicked and communicate with me every minute until the lift door was open. And the lift is under maintenance until we checked out. Luckily our room is only on the 2nd floor. Besides the lift incident, overall i recommend your stay at this hotel.
