• Cazzy_G408 (6/5): Irene apartment Room 118 - We were on the second floor facing the road opposite reception (information desk) Twin beds Balcony got sun late afternoon that was nice. Electric kept going off at night and water pressure was really bad we couldn’t shower one day or flush the loo. There was a hairdryer in one of the draws didn’t realise till last day. Pool area really quiet and peaceful,pool bar amazing food good prices and great service. No hassle for a sun-bed we came may 12-19 A few-people around. Town was good for food little Italy great pizzas and could take away,Sebastian’s worth a visit great food and service. We were b&b breakfast was buffet style from 9-10.30 quite minimal but did the job. Frogs !! 🐸 there’s a stream running by the hotel you can hear the frogs. It was ok had better had worse.
• marksT4849XH (10/5): A little place in heaven - We stayed in the wellness spot section of the estate which was modern, well equipped, spotless and in a wonderful position overlooking the pool. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, the tree covered hills/ mountains constantly changed colour as the sun traveled across the sky. We were blessed with the sight of a variety of wildlife. Just beautiful! Just a 5 minute walk to a sandy beach lined with cafes and restaurants made it a perfect location But what made it so special was the staff . We were made so welcome by everyone it felt like being part of a community.
• jonathanlJ9766RD (8/5): Great location. Satisfactorily presented. Would return. - Having read some bad reviews and some mixed, we went with an open mind. We came home yesterday from here, so felt I should do a review whilst it's fresh in my mind. We had room 102, at the back, in the far corner. The room is basic, the kitchen is very basic, it is rather dated, all very true, but it was sooo peaceful and relaxing. We didn't go to cook meals, we went to relax and this is what we did. It's quite clean, not spotless, but acceptable. The main negative was the pillows, they are absolutely DREADFUL!! We spent a week here, the cleaners were in 5 days of the 7, but we didn't get clean towels or clean sheets, but the bins were emptied and toilet paper was always replenished. WiFi is hit and miss, but again, we didn't go to Corfu to search things online. The position of the apartments is perfect, on the flat, no hill to climb, a massive plus for us. We weren't leaving the resort until 8.30pm for the airport and we were permitted to keep the apartment (€50) on upto the point of our taxi arriving.
• Nejxr07 (10/5): Basic but perfect for us - We had a fantastic 14 night stay Can't understand why people book 2 star accommodation and then complain that it's basic! If you want a higher quality room, then pay a higher price! The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The kitchen facilities are very basic but we're happy as long as we have a fridge and can make tea and toast. Who wants to cook a 3 course meal on holiday? The cleaner was so lovely and worked very hard. Our room was always immaculate. Pool area was clean and the staff very friendly and efficient. The location was great, supermarkets on the doorstep, loads of restaurants nearby and only a few minutes walk to the beach.
• 834sallyj (4/5): Lovely resort, would choose better accommodation - Reception is none existant due to only be open for two hours per day. If they are not open when you arrive you are then told a time you need to check in with them. Not much of a service its like they don't really care. Not sure the beds were changed in a week, also two changes of towels, marked / stained both times.

Jongedame (Lola) vriendelijk Staat van (bad)kamers; erbarmelijk, smerige douche cabine, last van rioolvliegjes, belachelijk dat er geen hor/hordeuren aanwezig zijn. Geen dagelijkse schoonmaak/handdoeken, denk aan toiletpapier in prullenbakjes. Conclusie; niet heengaan!

• Maisiesaffron (2/5): Poor experience of the apartments - This accommodation is basic. Very basic. The apartment we stayed in 102, was very dated. Having paid an additional £180 to have a superior room, I’m not sure what we got for our money. There was nothing superior about this accommodation. We had garden view but this was an overgrown and unattended area and nothing to see or enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with poor crockery and has 2 cups, 3 plates and bowls, 2 saucepans and we had to ask for a frying pan. There is just enough cutlery for 3. There is no toaster but we improvised and made toast in the sandwich toaster. Poor overall in the kitchen. The bathroom has small shower area with the shower curtain which wraps itself around you when showering. It smelt damp in the bathroom and is really in need of updating. The toiletries they advertise and provide are 2 tiny bars of soap. Dreadful. The bed is comfy. The WiFi didn’t work, neither did the TV. We did ask but it was just too much to ask of the very curt and abrupt owner Irene. There was nowhere to hang towels or smalls outside other than basic plastic chairs. Again attention to detail was poor. The pool was lovely, large and clean however there were wasps covering the grassed areas so watch out where you sit down. There was good music played daily around the pool. We didn’t tie in to the breakfast but from first sight as it is around the pool area, looked very basic, like the apartment. I’m glad we hadn’t paid for breakfast too. We tried a coffee on the first day which was not good so didn’t eat or drink there again. We asked if we could have somewhere to shower before we left as check out was 11am and we were not leaving until the evening. We were told to change in the toilet around the pool. Nice touch Irene apartments. Very accommodating. There was nothing offered to encourage us to go again. Oh, if you want a room safe and air con, or want to use their gym or pool table, there are additional charges. They charge for everything over and above the basic room. €6 for 30 minutes to play pool!!!!! The cleaner was regular however left our door open one day which we found out after a day at the beach. Careless. I wouldn’t recommend Irene apartments
• TJW1969 (8/5): Lovely friendly hotel - Pleasantly surprised at how nice Irenes apartments were after reading some awful reviews. So I thought I would let you all know to ignore the bad reviews we arrived early morning 1am ish after our flight was delayed and as expected our room number was in the window at reception. We found our apartment easily and the key was in the door. Room fresh and tidy and a good size the beds very comfortable. Our balcony looked out onto the street perfect for people watching. 2 minute from 2 supermarkets and shops and all the taverna's leading down to the beach. Lots of places to choose good food and wine from so these apartments are perfectly located. The swimming pool area was a delight and it had a lovely place to eat and drink and get a lovely breakfast I would recommend the special omelette yummy. The staff are all friendly and helpful around the pool and the maid was nice and friendly she came to our room several times to clean and change our towels etc. No complaints from me or my hubby. A great stay. Yes there are mosquitos and we got lots of bites but that's nothing to do with the apartments and not Irenes fault. Everyone got bitten in the whole resort it's so green and lush in this area so take repellent and cream for your bites and relax your on holiday. Thanks to Irene and all the staff for a great holiday. We stayed in room 109. Perfect.
• Manouchehr (4/5): - Die Lage ist problematisch, der Balkon lag direkt an einer Hauptstraße, was sehr laut war. Besonders enttäuschend war die unhöfliche und wenig hilfsbereite Dame an der Rezeption. Außerdem war das Wasser in der Dusche kalt. Wichtig zu wissen: Die Zimmer gehören zu verschiedenen Gebäuden mit sehr unterschiedlicher Lage, werden aber unter einem gemeinsamen Hotelnamen vermietet. Positiv zu erwähnen sind die sauberen Zimmer und das freundliche Personal im Restaurant.
• Hel00000 (8/5): Nice family holiday accomodation - This is not a 5 star hotel - but your not charged 5 star prices. I have no idea why people are complaining in their reviews !!! The apartment(s) we had were clean, tidy and functional. They had a distinct Greek charm which was actually quite nice. Yes they are basic but they are functional. The air con worked, the beds were comfy, we had a balcony over-looking the little road, a small kitchen and a basic bathroom. The rooms were cleaned on a regular basis and there was a room safe. The pool and poolside bar were very nice. Yes you do have to pay a Greek tax on arrival but that's standard practise. The downsides are reception is only open 10am-12pm which is a little inconvenient but there is always somebody at the bar that can assist you. The showers are very tiny but they do the job. On check out day there is no room set aside to leave your luggage, shower in or just chill in air con. If you are lucky enough to extend your room however its not a problem. The location is perfect, close to the beach, other hotels with pools, restaurants, mini marts and its only around 35mins in a taxi to Corfu town. Its set in a very pretty village, with a narrow road so its great to sit out on your balcony and watch the world go by. I would recommend these apartments.
• Y1748ZIjuliac (6/5): Basic accommodation, good pool - We booked through Love Holidays, arrived in the evening, and the "reception" was closed. Had to ask staff in local supermarket what we were supposed to do! The room was clean, very basic bathroom, good aircon which had to be paid extra for, and tiny dark kitchenette, with very little cutlery etc. Out of the week we were there, there was no running water on 3 occasions, meaning no showers after a day by the beach, and worse still, no flushing toilet! When the water did come back on, it was lukewarm at best, and trying to keep it flowing through the shower head was almost impossible. However, the pool area was lovely, the staff were efficient and friendly, the food was well priced and tasty, and the soundtracks played were chilled , not too loud, just perfect for lying by the water. Never too busy, and although open to the public too, the manager always made sure there were enough sunbeds for residents. This is basic, clean, well placed accommodation, and knowing what it is now, as long as the price was right, I would probably consider returning, as Agios Gordios is a lovely, family friendly small resort, with a great beach and some lovely restaurants, tavernas and a couple of cocktail bars.
• L6242GVcaroliner (10/5): An oasis of peace and tranquility. - We have just returned from a wonderful 7 day holiday at Irene Apartments. We stayed in the Irene Wellness Apartments, and our apartment was superb; modern, spotless with an amazing balcony view over the swimming pool and mountains. The scenery here is breathtaking and would recommend paying the extra for an Irene Wellness apartment, it’s so worth it; a stones throw away too from the pool and bar. The staff are what makes this place. A big shout out to Greg and his young team, Eva, Dora, and Lola., all of whom are masters at providing outstanding customer service, smiley, helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. They work so hard to meet their guest’s needs. Such great role models. We ate at the bar most days as the food was so good. Breakfast was just right, continental buffet style, and so nice to have decent coffee too! The pool area is spotless, plenty of Sun loungers and brollies, all looking relatively new. The pool staff provide an excellent drinks/ meals service to your sun longer, bliss! The negative reviews on here are contrary to our experience and maybe are down to people not researching and picking the right type of accommodation for their needs. My advice is to go for the apartments in the wellness block (there are several Irene Apartment blocks scattered around Agios Gordios ) and you won’t be disappointed. We would definitely go back again. The Lemon Tree bar in the village is also worth a visit in the evening - great buzzy vibe. Beach only about 10 minute walk away. Beautiful tranquil and peaceful setting. A real jewel.
• vestas (10/5): We love it here. (Couple in 50s) - We are still here as I write this. I have seen the other recent reviews and feel I need to redress the balance. This is the third year running we have been here. We stay in the Wellness apartments. They are immaculate and have everything you could need. The pool area and bar is fantastic. It's also immaculate. The grass surrounding the pool is like a bowling green. They take great care of the place. This is a family run accommodation and they take great care to make you feel welcome. There is a reason that almost everyone here has been coming back for years. If you are willing to be friendly back you will love it. Some people turn up expecting a 5* resort. This isn't that, it's a friendly, relaxing lovely spot. A few minutes to the beach and the lovely town with many options for meals and drinks. The food at the bar is lovely. I can't comment on the older part of the accommodation which is adjacent to the road but the wellness apartments are lovely. I've travelled lots of countries and done the "all inclusive" resorts as the children grew up. I couldn't stand to do that again. This place is our go to place for relaxation and friendly people. The

• 505margaretd (2/5): Not as advertised on website or holiday sites. - We are here now and have to say reception is never open snd when it is the lady there is not helpful. We arrived Saturday at midnight and no lights on and only for we turned on out mobile phone torch we would not have seen our names and where we were to stay. Tv has not worked and I've asked twice but no joy. We are in a room on the main road and the noise in the morning is awful. The adverts for here are making it look like quality and care. Very dissatisfied with love holidays for taking us here.
• garyam0s (4/5): There's Two Hotels? - Let's start with Hotel one, Irene Apartments. Rate 1 Star Basic rooms for S/C. When we first arrived we got a smell of mould. The bed is firm with 2 sheets & 2 small pillows. Our bed was made up twice in one week but the sheets weren't changed, also no clean towels. Shower is very small so the shower curtain keeps catching you. Room 102, Freezer door is broken, electric hob dirty, light fitting loose, bathroom mirror mouldy, outside light not working. The internet is slow. Hotel Two. Irene Wellness Spot. Rate 3 star Rooms a lot better (but you pay more) cleaner, smell fresh, looked after. Gym is there (if that's what you call it) The Pool area is between both Hotels and very clean area. You will also find your pool bar and snacks. There is NO restaurant. You have breakfast at the pool seating area (8 euro's but not worth it). Food is good price's average. The staff there are really good looking after you all the time. Your supermarkets are right outside the Hotel. You'll find the local bus stop and shops and restaurants. Sea is a short 5 minute walk. For ATM use the ALPHA Bank for the better rate. Overall I would go back, the only reason for my two stars are 1 for the staff and 1 for a lovely clean pool area. Avoid.
• goossensl07 (10/5): Irene Apartments the best in town - Agios Gordios Corfu, Irene apartments, the place where we feel at home and where we experience peace. We meet friends and prefer to stay at Irene Wellness Apartments. We pay a little more for a room and it is worth every euro. We look down on the lovely swimming pool, the excellent pool bar and the great small-scale restaurant, with its own dishes and menus and an excellent breakfast buffet. A nice family-run apartment complex with various options. Great service, lovely and good food, relaxing swimming, a cosy bar with cocktails, to be short: AN EXCELLENT PLACE FOR YOUR (FAMILY) HOLIDAY. Last summer (2024) there was a major water shortage on Corfu. Irene apartments had supplies of water delivered for their guests. This is a sign, that the family does everything they can to please and service their guests. Despite their efforts, you can't please everyone. Agios Gordios is a great, nice, pleasant village at the beach on the west coast of Corfu. We have been coming here for over 20 years and have stayed in many different accommodations, with and without our children. Next year we are back again at Irene apartment, ofcourse. We have booked for June and September 2025. What a wonderful thing to look forward to.
• nathifas2023 (2/5): Abusive manager, disgusting accommodation! - If I could give zero ratings, I would. Location is OK, outside of that there was nothing good about this place. I stayed there in August and the manager was extremely rude, she verbally abused me when I made a complaint about the condition of the rooms and noise from the neighbours. Shouting in my face in front of my child and refusing my refund so I could stay elsewhere. Was not cooperative at all and resulted to shouting at me rather than actually addressing the issues. The Wifi is rubbish so you will need your own mobile data. The kitchen and bathroom are health hazards. Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in!
• X5551VFlyndah (10/5): Our Corfu home. - We stayed in Wellness at Irene's apartments in September. I've lost count of the amount of times we have stayed there now. It's our Corfu home with the lovely family and all our friends we arrange to meet there. Agios Gordios is a wonderful village and its all the people that make it special and keep us returning. Next year is already booked. Can't wait to be there again.
• red66 (10/5): Irene Apartments, Agios Gordios, Corfu - We had a wonderful 2 week stay at the Irene Apartments, despite a couple of days heavy rain. The poolside bar ran by Gregory was excellent for both food and drink, especially the special coffees ☕️. The Apartments were very clean for tidy. We never experienced any problems with the water anywhere in the village, which had been a problem weeks earlier due to a well issue.
• 2blanem (10/5): Fabulous apartments - and really friendly service - We have been visiting Irene's for over 10 years and have NEVER had any problems. Gregory always looks after us very well and Iren is so helpful and accommodating (booking taxis etc for us) The apartments are very clean and spacious and offer great value in Agios Gordios. The pool and pool bar are in a lovely garden setting and very relaxing and peaceful.......and the food is amazing ! (we had wonderful Spit Roast Chicken and also some fabulous Squid this year) The apartments are only a 5 minute walk from the beach and are in an excellent location. We are already booked for 2025 and can't wait until we return!!

• lellhan (4/5): Disappointing - Agios Gordios is a beautiful resorts although most bars and shops were closed due to it being end of season. Irene’s apartments were very disappointing sorry to say, the pool area and bar are clean and welcoming but the apartments were really disappointing for us during our stay. Our reason for writing this as I don’t like to normally write a negative review was the cleanliness of the room, basic is ok for us but we expect it to be clean and sorry to say it wasn’t The location is excellent, but rooms facing the road can be noisy at times We had to ask for the sheets to be changed during our 9 day stay, as the floors were transferring dirt onto them, they said they would do this for us only to find that they had turned the sheets over so had to ask again and then they were changed, Sorry to be so negative but cleanliness is important to us

Checkout at 12pm as stated on hotels.com but because no forced out off the room from 8am onwards then host storms in the room and says my apartment you leave when I say not hotels.com avoid avoid avoid

Pool area, bar and toilets very clean. Couple of small supermarkets within 1 minute walk. Apartment clean. Beds comfortable. Safe deposit box. Bus stop into corfu town next door. Very small and relaxing resort. Would return.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - De ontvochtiger maakte veel herrie. Het raam moest dicht blijven vanwege verkeersherrie. Veel muggen in de kamer vanwege een slootje rond het gebouw.
• Verified traveler (6/5): super swimming pool drink - szokujące śmieci śmierdzące na ulicach przy wjeździe do każdej miejscowości !!! Hotel ok za tą ceną, choć brakowało moskitier w oknach, codziennie walczyliśmy pół nocy z komarami. Basen jest ogromnym atutem, niestety otwarty tylko do 19.00. Codziennie sprzątanie apartamentu, ścielenie łóżek i mycie naczyń - ok, brakowało dostawy szamponu. Pościel zmieniana rzeczywiście co 3 dni. Taras na ulicę (mało intymnie) lub ogród sąsiada. Balkony oddzielone plexi między apartamentami, więc słychać rozmowy i czuć papierosy. W apartamentach parterowych brak wi-fi.
• Alex (10/5): - Irene contacted us before the arrival to ensure we do not wait, initially given ground floor appartment with balcony for the first night but upgraded to 1st floor with view of garden and hills. Excellant location close to supermarkets and restaurants yet tranquil. Pool with bar and SPA surrounded by trees and hills with overpowering jasmin scent. Beech within easy reach, great hub to explore south of the island.

• paul (6/5): - The local area is beautiful, the accommodation is very good however communication between me and the hotel was very difficult. I got voicemail every time I tried to call reception to arrange hotel transfer from the airport maybe because it was a public holiday.
• Marie Voukelatou (8/5): Beware Irene - the owner! - Irene apartments are good without being superior. The room I had was on the bottom at the back - it was a good size and comfortable but had no view and showed signs of dampness. The owner however is what put me off these apartments - I helped a couple find their room when they arrived after midnight without a clue of whereto go. Reception was already closed as is stated on the website but it appears Irene expected them to know by some kind of osmosis that she had left a note of their room number and location on the window of her office. They did not! I knew as that is where she had left a note for me! I helped them find their room after asking in a supermarket how to access their apartment which was in a separate building - they repeatedly said they would never have found it without help. Next day I told her their was an issue and she became so defensive! A couple of hours later I was at the pool when she approached me and told me that I must NOT interfere with any of her clients again as it made it look like her system didn't work. I said your system doesn't - she said she knew better than me and that I must not help anyone else. I asked what if someone doesn't know where to go - she said leave them they will eventually work it out but don't you help. This confrontation was in front of my family and other guests - I was flabbergasted! I wasn't looking for a big thank you for helping her guests but at the very least I did not expect to be publicly humiliated.
• Crystal (6/5): Last minute deal for good hotel - We booked last minute so we got a great deal. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Was charged extra for AC each day which we did not know. We liked that it was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Didn't like that our room wasn't cleaned during the three nights we stayed there. Pool area was very nice...wifi is almost nonexistent, very hard to get a signal. Because we got such a great deal is why I liked this hotel...I think if we had to pay full price I would have stayed somewhere. Owner was borderline unpleasant.
