• Fabien (10/5): - Chambre plutôt spacieuse et confortable, un bémol: bien que il y ai des W.C séparés dans la chambre, la douche se trouve elle, littéralement, sur le côté du lit. Et vu que c'est une chambre triple avec un lit superposé cela peut poser problème avec un couple et un enfant pour l'intimité. Ce n'était pas notre cas et pour nous c'était même idéal ! Ah et il faudrait penser à renouveler le papier toilette entre chaque client, c'est embêtant d'en chercher quand il n'y a pas de personnel à proximité. Hormis cela nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel de par sa position, sa propreté, la qualité de la literie et son accueil. Et un tarif plutôt "doux" pour le vieux Lille. Séjour très agréable, nous reviendrons sans nous poser de questions !
• Veronique (4/5): Prostituées devant l'hôtel - La chambre a une prise et un état du mur médiocre. La fenêtre ne peut être ouverte, j'ai tant bien que mal calé avec un stylo pour avoir un peu d'air. Un est tombé. Trois prostituées parlent fort devant la fenêtre,super tôt le matin quand On part travailler.le personnel : ils ont tous été aimable et naturel.bravo .

• Anthony (6/5): Le parking ça va pas, le reste oui. - J’ai eu horreur de descendre dans le parking ( qui est d’ailleurs le meilleur endroit pour abîmer votre voiture tellement l’entrée et la sortie sont compliquées , c’est au millimètre.) et que finalement on me fasse retirer ma voiture car c’est une prestation qui n’est pas gérée par l’hôtel mais par un tier. C’est aberrant. Donc j’ai traversé la ville pour trouver un parking alors que j’avais choisi cet hôtel car il en avait un. Pour le reste c’est correct, et je remercie chaleureusement les personnes qui y travaillent, notamment les femmes de chambres. Ma fille a oublié sa tablette, et elle nous a été restituée même une semaine après. Vraiment très content.

Attention 2 hôtels Ibis budget près de la gare au numéro 10 courdray et Tournay... à ne pas confondre ! Hôtel conforme à l'annonce.
• Andy (4/5): Poor budget hotel for what you have too pay. - Booked because of parking option but desolately this was full at arrival. So dont book it for parking. Shower was dirty. Romm rather smelly.. Room was very hot without airco option, not recommended on hot days. Breakfast very poor: no fresh coffee or orange juice (powder), rather dirty. Staff rather limited service. We padi way too much for this budget hotel, a hostel would have given better quality
• Victoria (10/5): - Really convenient and walkable for both Eurostar and the old town, with free luggage storage, which meant we could easily explore Lille before our train in the afternoon. Reception staff were all very helpful and friendly. As expected for a budget hotel it is basic, and rooms got very hot with no air conditioning.

Great location. Room cost reasonable for the short notice booking

Typical basic Ibis Budget hotel, friendly staff. Only negative point was the single bed pillow which was not very good, you need at least two decent pillows. Otherwise good sleep and good value.

L'accès au parking est inconcevable et dangereux pour les carrosseries. Ce n'est pas pour cela qu'il est donné. Par contre le personnel est très accueillant et prêt à rendre service.

• Flemming (8/5): - The hotel is super central, with everything within a 5min walk. Restaurant street right around the corner with everything from crepes to indian food. And they allow dogs here, that was great! But at night the prostitutes stand right in front of the hotel, and there is a lot of fighting and shouting. It's nearly impossible to sleep through the night becouse there is no aircondition, so the window has to be open.

Donc je redescends et là on s'aperçoit que le code donné n'était pas le bon... Accessoirement la télécommande de la télévision était défaillante. Pour le reste pas de problème, la situation de l'Hôtel était idéale pour un usage professionnel.

A 10 min walk from Gare Lille Europe and 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Place (in the centre). Nice lighting in room, comfortable beds, good WiFi. Everything I needed for a lovely few days holiday with my 2 kids (we enjoyed and would recommend mooching around the Centre and Old town, Palais des Beux Arts <2 for 1 on the modest entrance fee with Eurostar tickets>, Wazemmes market, Musee Hospice Comptesse and the zoo). • Rhonda (2/5): Poor administration - I had confirmation of 3 rooms for late arrival, paid in full in advance. When we arrived, there were only two rooms designated to us and only on elf them was paid. The hotel was full and it was late, so to enter the 2nd room, I had to pay again.
• Sue (8/5): Disappointing stay - The bathroom was in poor condition with mildew around the shower where water had seeped under the vinyl .. very noisy street and very hot room (it was 27’ outside ) there were a few people hanging around outside possible Prostitutes as well 😩 It was close to the centre and an easy walk . we have stayed at many ibis budget hotels and this was the worse one we have visited

Surrounding area can be abit noisy at night As we had to leave window open due to being too warm. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. It's about 10min walk from station(flanders) And bars and restaurants just at top of street.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not cheap, friendly but v noisy area - Biggest negatives were that Lille Ibis Budget has NO AIR CONDITIONING (so as there was no breeze, all I had available were frequent cold showers - not exactly ideal). Secondly, although the 4th floor is quite distant from the street (at the rear of the hotel), the location was very noisy until well for past midnight. Shouting, singing, cars racing up and down, fighting - seriously wouldn't have ventured outside. Friendly staff tho. Lift didn't work in the morning. Not cheap & for the reasons above, one to avoid in future.

• mark (10/5): Great stay, definitely recommend - Couldn't fault it really. Easy to access by car from major routes. Fairly quite street. Underground parking. Very simple, but modern room, clean and contemporary. Short walk to bars and restaurants (literally around the corner) and a 5 min walk to nearest metro for great access to city centre. Busy city, great for a night or two. Would definitely stay again and use this hotel. Love the design concept for the sleeping arrangements.
• John (8/5): Good value - The Ibis Budget Hotel was good for the price, especially because it was within easy walking distance of downtown Lille with lots of restaurants in the area. None of the staff spoke much English, so we were at a disadvantage but a 15 minute walk to the tourist information centre helped resolve all our questions.

I do however expect if it says it has air con in the description that it should have air con which this didbt. The breakfast selection was the worst I've ever encountered and also there weren't enough seats for all the people queuing up to sit down once they'd finally got their breakfast. The breakfast seating should at least equate to the amount of rooms

• Steven (6/5): Lille on a budget - Ibis Budget is exactly that. It has all the Ibis amenities but at rock bottom. The bed is a comfortable double with a single bunk above. Everything is clean and painted with several coats of bubble paint. The furniture is child-proof. The neighborhood is almost too quiet.
• Susan (6/5): Okay hotel for the price - Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting WWI and WWII war sights. The hotel is basic but has everything you need for a night. The two main issues we ran into was the temperature in the room (too hot and no way to control it so we had to sleep with windows open and it was noisy on the street below) and parking. The stalls were very small (not our first experience with this in France) and it was hard to fit our station wagon in any stalls, but even more difficult was fitting in the underground parking...it was such a tight squeeze into the parking that we very nearly lost our front bumper. Also we couldn't get the tv to work but that wasn't a huge issue. Didn't eat in the restaurant so can't speak of the food, staff were helpful when when asked questions.
