- Christine (10/5): - Check in was very convenient since it was contactless. Received the door code via text message and letting me know it was ready, which was ahead of check in time. Definitely an older motel, but convenient to highway and where we were going. Bed not exactly comfy but are they ever compared to home?
- Richard (10/5): - Nice!
- Gregory (10/5): Nice motel with good accommodations - The motel was clean and in good condition. It being a two star I was happily surprised and would recommend it to anyone.
- Autumn (8/5): - The room was very clean and updated. The bed could have been bigger, but not an issue. I had trouble with the door lock, but my wife was able to open it. Otherwise, it met our needs for a quick weekend.
- AngryElf (7/5): -
- Lori (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay
- Donald (10/5): -
- Connie (10/5): Clean & Comfortable - Very clean, reasonably priced, very nice to work with.

- Tammy (8/5): - no frills stay for the night. Clean
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value lodging that is CLEAN, and convenient - We were in town for an event at Alma College. First time staying at the Triangle motel. Very clean and comfortable. For the value, you absolutely cannot go wrong staying here. Very friendly staff, super convenient location, quiet, and did I mention clean? Bed was comfortable, & clean. Bathroom clearly upgraded and clean. Shower/tub clean and mold free. Small fridge, no microwave (which was fine by me), no coffee maker (there's a Tim Horton's not far away), no ironing board/iron. But again, still a good value. Will be staying there again.
- Kristin (10/5): - The owners were so nice to work with. Gave us a later check-out. Rooms are small but very clean.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - it was a contactless Motel which was really nice and the whole check in check out was so convenient. There was a gas station across the street which was great as well.Very nice place ..thank you! There was nothing we didn't like about this place
- Quentin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - I was sick with the flu while my husband was playing a dart tournament. The staff turned up the heat for me and brought me a little space heater to use.
The room was very clean, comfortable bed. Even though I was sick, I enjoyed my stay. Would definitely book this hotel again.
- Tracy (7/5): Good -
- Bonnie (8/5): Great location and we will stay there again. - Self owned To close to the road and traffic noise
- Debra (6/5): Over proceed - The room was clean. Had an issue entering the room to which a friendly and helpful lady came out promptly to help. No thermostat in the room, but the nice lady promptly brought a heater which made the room temp comfortable. There was an walk in shower. It's been awhile since the room was updated. Walls were pretty thin, woke up due to the sound of traffic outside. Was expecting a nicer room considering what I charged and after reading the reviews I had seen on here.
- Tommy (10/5): - Everything met our nneeds and was close to the activities we did in the area.
- Stacey (10/5): - What an absolute beautiful property. The owners are very nice and the hotel room was so comfortable and cute. We will definitely see them again in the future.
- Kristin (8/5): Surprisingly good! - From the outside I have never had any good feelings or instincts about this establishment. However a friend convinced me to try it and I'm so glad I did! It is certainly not more than a basic establishment but it is cozy, clean, and comfortable, which ticks all my boxes when I'm looking for a no frills stay! The bathroom was very tiny but it isn't anything that can be changed.
- Kimberly (8/5): Very good - The ease of check in. The quietness of the place. No kleenex in the room.
- Bill (8/5): - It was Very Clean! Good for an overnight, which was all we needed. Property's outdated, but very well maintained. You can hear neighboring rooms, TV helped with that. You can hear outside noise and traffic, again TV helped with that. Entry was super easy and doors lock upon closing the door, there's also a bolt and chain for use. Water is well water, just be prepared. Shower, bathroom and room cleanliness was super impressive, better cleanliness than most hotels. Would stay again if in the area for a quick overnight stay. Close to town and Alma College.
- Jeanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kris (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sue (10/5): - Nice, clean
- Lori (8/5): - Old, but well kept. Very pleasant. Staff friendly!
- marc (8/5): - Friendly and helpful owners, very clean. Room was small but well arranged and pleasant.
- Liz (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable
- Brian (6/5): - Old place needs updated
- Debra (10/5): It was clean, comfortable and cozy. - The owner was very pleasant and accommodating. It was a no contact check in. But I needed to change something and called the number for service and the owner came out and helped me with that. The only drawback was no coffee pot. But we did know that in advance and brought some coffee bags and cups. But that's what keeps the price reasonable.
- Dorlene (6/5): Smell - I have breathing issues and I had a really hard time in the room because it had either a must or smoke or some kind of smell made me cough all night
- Bonnie (8/5): It was close to everything and clean. We would stay again. - Nice relaxing yard . Clean Right next to a busy street so noisy at night
- Lorie (10/5): - It’s small and quiet, park right next to your room, lovely garden area with chairs. Not much traffic, gas station across the street has coffee. Really liked not having a room key to worry about losing, door code on my phone. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Brenda (8/5): Very good - April was very helpful. Room was very clean.
- S (8/5): Very good stay in Alma. - Very close to downtown Alma, and a family member's house. Very clean. Super neat. Comfortable. Metal art outside is a good touch. Beds were firm and cozy. Wifi was strong. Ample refrigerator. Close to 127. Pretty easy to get to Noise from highway picks up by 6AM.
No coffee machine in the room. Would be nice, but not a game changer.
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martha (8/5): Very good -
- Joseph (8/5): - The tTriangle Motel was probably built in in early 1960s. However it seems to be well maintained, and we had a comfortable stay. It is also conveniently located just off from US 127.
- Victoria (8/5): - Very clean place! Just a bit small but very comfy bed!
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Alana (10/5): Clean, comfortable and great location. - I have to admit I was a little worried... we went to a concert at Soaring Eagle and needed a place to stay and there were limited rooms left anywhere near by, and then I seen this place. I booked it because it had good reviews. You really never know, but honestly it was super clean and the owners were really great. I would definitely stay here again! everything was great
- William (10/5): - Small and cute
- David (10/5): - Very clean and neat property.
- Kadlec (9/5): I enjoyed my stay, clean and comfortable good for independent travelers - The lawn and garden was wonderful and outdoor seating The faulty lock entry system
No office to meet with staff
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): - Best value motel in the area. This was my 2nd time staying at the Triangle - hasn’t let me down yet!
- Glenn (10/5): - Very nice stay, but NO SERVICE at all (Didn't really need any). Office was locked and a key pad was used to get into the room.
- Christy (8/5): Clean but dated - The room was dated, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. A little road noise. This was a good value for the money and served it's purpose keeping us close to the college.
- Amy (8/5): - Clean room
- Lyle (10/5): Quiet clean character in spades - This is an old school small town motel. Tons of character, very clean, electronic doorknobs so no key to lose!
This is our second time staying here and we wouldn’t hesitate to make it a third.
- Sandra S (8/5): - We stay here twice a year, very clean. Only noise is traffic with a large gas station across the street. This is an old motel with cement base floors that are not level. We are older and are beginning to have balance problems. We have walking and balance problems with the floors not level. We stay because of it being clean and the location.
- Joseph (10/5): - Great job again thanks
- Kimberly (10/5): Quick overnight stay - Super comfy beds. Nice pillows. Very clean and really liked our bath towels. A quick trip to St. Louis MI found us needing a room for the night and The Triangle Motel fit the bill. Our hostess found us a restaurant that would accommodate our late arrival where we had great food and drinks. Thank you JJ Ruby’s. Upon our rush to head home, I left my big ole body pillow behind in the room. Michelle shipped it back to me at home and I couldn’t be more thankful!!! So kind.
- christopher (10/5): - Great clean motel.
- SUSAN (8/5): - The hotel is conveniently located
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Room had good space and was super clean. I like that it had a refrigerator. Nice selection of pillows to my liking. The bed was a little harder than I like, but better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in.
- Holly H (8/5): - Very clean older motel
- CONNOR (10/5): - Is exactly what I needed it for everything was very convenient for me
- Jane (8/5): Good Budget Motel close to the highway! - Nice clean room. Easy check in & checkout. Quiet. Great mattresses. Strong Wi-Fi. Only wish is that there’d been an in-room coffeemaker - maybe sub the coffeemaker for the microwave.
- Lyle (10/5): Staff super nice. Loved the No key-punch code entry!! Quiet even though on a fairly busy corner. We would totally stay h - Location
Cleanliness
Old style motel N/A
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vickee (9/5): Clean place to stay without fancy amenities - Location No coffee No shampoo No conditioner or hair dryer
- Christine (9/5): Superb - Customers stayed outside their rooms to late hours.
- Judu (8/5): Convenient. Peaceful. Nostalgic. - I liked the nostalgic atmosphere, the barefootable floors, the quietness, the personal attention directly from the owners and the nearness to the relatives we were visiting in Ithaca, MI. Plus being able to park our car right outside our door. It would have been nice to offer breakfast but no biggy because we found a delightful Amish restaurant a few miles away in Ithaca,MI. I would have liked to had two beds but a two-bed room wasn’t available at that time. I think the cost could have been a little lower than $120.
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ridky (7/5): Cheap & clean - It was clean! it was close to a main road. The mattress was too hard. Little outdated.
- Bruce (3/5): Property reminded me of a pleasant place to stay in the 1950s and early 1960s. - Property was clean inside and outside.
It was reassuring to see other people chose to stay.
The AC drowned out most of the traffic noise.
Shower worked well.
Check in and out was easy.
Close access to highway. AC was loud. Had to turn up the volume on the TV in order to hear it.
It was warm in the room even with the AC set at 68F. Not sure it could handle 70F-80F nights.
Traffic was loud. (The AC drowned out most of the noise.)
The pillows were hard. They felt like sacks filled with grain.
The mattress was hard. It was difficult to find a comfortable position.
- Rita (6/5): - The room was nice and clean, good shower. The bed was hard as a brick, very difficult to sleep on.
- Jody (10/5): - Property is a very well kept, maintained and updated motor inn. Rooms are small-ish but function very well. Never saw the staff, but didn't need to. Everything was texted or set out for me. It has it's own very pleasant park as part of the triangle. Would be a lovely place to stay and gather for small group trips. Only slight negative would be occasional traffic noise from the adjacent rural highway.
- Cody (10/5): - Property and room was very clean, very good price for what you get included, would definitely stay again. Very close to a gas station and restaurants.
- Karen (10/5): - The staff communicated very well and I was impressed with their attention to detail. Even though this was a small business and the building itself is dated, the motel owners did a fantastic job of making sure everything was clean and inviting.
- Rosalyn (10/5): - Great staff and service
- Ron (7/5): Good - clean, suited my purpose small, dated
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Great no- frills motel - Really nice little roadside motel. Small, no-frills very clean place. I was a little chilly & the owner lent us a space heater. Very friendly, kind & helpful woman in the office. A tad pricey, but I’ll definitely go back.
- Vickee (8/5): This is a no frill motel that worked for my needs - location to my appointment NO coffee maker, shampoo or conditioner.
- Anonymous (10/5): overall this was a very clean, comfortable and safe stay! will be staying again - very clean! I’m a maid so that was the first thing I checked! easy access into room. shower water pressure was low
- Derrick (8/5): - Decent for the price. No frills. Super easy check in. Did the job.
- Covington (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and cozy
- Jamie (10/5): didn’t run in to any staff. it was very peaceful. - it was very clean and well kept I thought it was old and small for the price. but it was all that was available in the area.
- Schmeltz (9/5): Superb -
