- Karen (10/5): Fabulous - Barbara the host was a very accommodating hostess, very friendly and nothing appeared to be an issue even the extra slice of toast. The location was great, short walk to the village and a bus stop right outside the front door. Nothing
- Karen (10/5): -
- Tania (10/5): Quiet B&B a short walk from town - Great little B&B a short walk from Cowes high street. Nothing, it was perfect in every way.
- Robert (9/5): A calm respite from the bustle of town, comfortable bed, and a perfect breakfast to set you up for the day. - The property is perfectly located, giving a short walk into the main town, with the bonus of parking. Ideally placed for a working oriented visit to the Island. Just up from the chain ferry and East Cowes, Southampton Ferry. Well presented internally and externally. Nothing not to like.
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and host was such a lovely lady.
- Jason (10/5): A excellent stay!! Endeavour house. - A lovely host who maintained great communication upto and throughout our stay. The location, facilities and cleanliness of the B&B were excellent. The price for 4nights was reasonable, which included a daily breakfast covering all options. Including full English, fruit, cereals, toasts with jams and fruit. All served with tea/coffee or juice. Overall I would highly recommend the Endeavour house B&B, for you stay on the Isle of Wight.

Their knowledge of the area was exemplary and the breakfast was amazing. We shall be back and really can’t rate Endeavour House highly enough. Thank you both very much. X Nothing. It was all excellent.
- Susan (9/5): Lovely stay on the Island - The comfy bed, the pretty room and delicious breakfasts.
Barbara our landlady was marvellous. Narrow stairs were very steep.
- Angela (10/5): Thank you - Our hosts were most kind and helpful. Marvellous breakfast. House and room immaculate Some steep stairs so a bit tricky for those with mobility issues
- Chris (9/5): An ideal base in West Cowes from which to explore the island. Recommended! - Barbara is an excellent host and made me feel very welcome.
The bedroom was good, although the shower over the bath took a little getting used to as the controls were outside the curtain and the bath had a very curved base, so a little awkward to stand in.
Breakfast was delicious and exactly as requested.
Thanks Barbara, I hope to visit you again soon!
- Chris (8/5): - Owner was very helpful and cooked a really good breakfast. Parking outside the building was very convenient
Happy to recommend
- Fearn (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent guesthouse! So comfortable and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, well appointed bathroom, free WiFi, tea and coffee facilities with biscuits in the room. Milk alternatives provided.
Breakfast ordered the night before and cooked fresh for you in the morning. Extensive menu: Vegetarian and vegan options.
Bathroom had a bath - luxury! with shower over it. Good quality hair and body wash. Lovely towels and a bathrobe.
Perfect location for exploring the island. Close to Cowes beach, ferry terminals and bus routes. The buses on the island are excellent.
The landlady, Barbara is lovely, very helpful and a mine of local knowledge.
Best place to stay in Cowes.
Can't recommend Endeavour House highly enough!
- Rama (10/5): - The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious. They even let us leave the luggage at their place for a while so that we could do some more trips before we had to get back to the ferry. It was very kind of them to do that.
- Chak (10/5): Great place to stay w great breakfast - Room’s clean and cozy. Breakfast was great - it’s warm and delicious, great way to start the day. Barbara (host) was nice and friendly. Location is great - not far from both Cowes’ piers, and bus station’s nearby. Feels homely overall:) N/A

Nice host. All the stairs to get to room.

- Sue (9/5): All in all very comfortable and enjoyable - Location Only things lacking were more hooks in bathroom for wet towels, or dry clothes. More space in bathroom for wash bags etc
- Tania (10/5): A fantastic stay with a view - Barbara was a wonderful host, the room was well appointed, the bed very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Barbara provided a superb breakfast each morning! The 2 flights of stairs can be tricky with large or heavy suitcases.
- Sui (9/5): The host was great. She was very friendly and helpful. - The breakfast was excellent. It was delicious and served warm. The mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was located outside the twin room so quite inconvenient. The blanket was a bit too thick and heavy for the weather while we're there. A down comforter is more preferrable.
- Cindy (10/5): - I stayed at Endeavour House with my mum recently and we loved it. The room was spacious and comfortable and the house was spotless. All the provisions we needed were available. The breakfast was great, and impressively consistent quality every morning and the location was within easy walking distant of several lovely restaurants, and other amenities. A great place to stay!

Many options of local places to eat, things to do and other recommendations were made on arrival, with several sheets of information should anything had been forgotten. Everything was covered and Barbara ensured that there were absolutely no issues with our stay and we had all of the opportunities possible in Cowes.
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Very enjoyable stay Barbara was a very friendly and efficient hostess - Rooms were very clean and bedroom spacious.

- Andrew (10/5): Clean, comfortable, good location - Excellent breakfast. Nothing
- Kate (10/5): Perfect met all our expectations. - Great location close to Ferry & Cowes shops & restaurants. Also for many good cycling routes including Red Squirrel Trail & also IOW Festival.
Lovely property, very well maintained by Barbara & Mike. Both are warm, friendly & very knowledgeable about local area. The breakfasts were delicious made to order by Barbara nothing is too much bother. We’d highly recommended staying here & hope to return again.

- Jean (9/5): Endeavor House is a great base for a visit to Cowes and the Isle of Wight. - A lovely guest house run by a friendly and hospitable couple. We traveled with a friend and had rooms across from each other on the same floor. Both were very comfortable rooms; one had lovely views across the garden and toward the sea. The breakfasts were exceptionally good. We also appreciated the owner's restaurant recommendations, which were spot-on. No complaints at all.
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Barbara was incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was just delightful. All was amazing. Nothing!
- James (9/5): Very pleasant enjoyable stay - Breakfast was excellent. Barbara was a lovely hostess. Nil
- Sarah (10/5): Perfect stay at Endeavour House - The hostess was lovely and helpful. She really accommodated our needs. The beds were so comfortable and we had the use of a well equipped bathroom, with powerful shower. We didn't have breakfast because we were out early but the offer to provide a very early breakfast was made. Helpful tips on ferry times really helped us plan. Excellent location, on a bus route. We could find no fault with anything.
- Penny (10/5): Very good place to stay for break in the Isle of Wight - Very comfortable and friendly accommodation. Near to the centre of Cowes and bus to Newport just outside. N/a
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (9/5): A providential find, at short notice. A place to keep in mind for future visits to Cowes. - Generously-proportioned, light and airy room with very comfortable bed and chairs. - Hawthorne (10/5): Very Enjoyable - both perfect Nothing could have been better
- Rhonda (10/5): Wonderful - Such a lovely warm welcome from Barbara on our arrival. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice including gluten free and oat milk as requested. I would recommend this delightful B&B.
- Karen (9/5): My friend and I stayed at Endeavour House while attending a 60th birthday party in Cowes . - The breakfast at Endeavour House was prepared perfectly to order by our host Barbara.
- Corina (10/5): Barbara's breakfast bonanza! - The breakfast! Barbara was very attentive. The first time we met she showed us the room, the breakfast menu options, places to dinner and we had everything we needed for our whole stay. But definitely having a fresh home made breakfast served perfectly on time in the morning brightened our day.
- Barbara (10/5): Please see above. - I like everything about Endeavour House - first and foremost, I appreciated the kindness of our host Barbara who went out of her way to see that we were comfortable. She picked us up from the Red Jet on our arrival to Cowes and also drove us all the way round the island early in the morning on the date of our departure to make sure that we would be in time for our ferry. Thank you so much Barbara from both of us. I hope to be back again soon!

Lovely owners Everything was lovely my only preference would be bigger bed
But a lovely stay
- Veronique (10/5): Excellent - Very warm and kind hosts, beautiful house, extremely clean, excellent location, excellent breakast!
Thank you so much !!! poor wifi, not so much of a problem though…
- Ally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leonid (10/5): Very comfortable, and near the marina - a pleasure to stay there after a day of sailing. - Barbara did some changes in the room setup which I didn't ask for ahead - many thanks! The attitude, the breakfast - just like being a guest of the family. It's also a short walking distance from the center and the Cowes Yacht Haven. A very comfortable and clean room, with a very nice shower and bathroom outside the room (but still private). It's a private house, part of which is being used as a hotel. So in essence, it's like being a guest of a family you aren't familiar with. I personally didn't mind this, but I guess some people might.
- Stevens (10/5): Lovely owners and great location. -
- Pauline (7/5): Endeavour House was in the perfect location for our stay in Cowes. Close to the centre and route back home on the ferry - Very clean and comfortable and walking distance to the town with it’s shops, restaurants and floating bridge for the ferry back to Southampton. A great choice of breakfasts which were well cooked and presented. Our room had a fabulous, comfortable super king size bed but unfortunately the en-suite shower room was a little narrow.
- Alex (10/5): Perfect - Warm and friendly hosts, very clean accommodation and excellent food
- Tony (10/5): Left wanting to return again... - Great hostess, room attended to each day and a lovely breakfast with tips on where to visit Very small point but the TV kept loosing its memory...you had to re tune it (that did not work sometimes). Not a massive issue
- Shaun (9/5): great stay - lovely guest house. Great location. Run by lovely couple. would definitely recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - Had a pleasant stay here. My room and the premises overall were clean and comfortable to be in. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good place to stay.
- Beryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clive (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (10/5): A high-standard British style Bed and Breakfast - A very typical well-run British Bed and Breakfast. Very clean, and very comfortable, Barbara was the consummate host. The location was ideal for us being a 10-minute walk from both Cowes seafront and the Round House. We had no car, so the bus stop very close by was ideal for getting into Newport or further afield.
The food was excellent with the opportunity to order from the breakfast menu by text the night before. We will be staying again when we re-visit the Island. The Wi-Fi on the top floor didn't seem as good as elsewhere in the house. However, this could have been partly down to my phone's reception which has not been good since I fitted a new cover.
- Simon (10/5): - A great place to stay, just round the corner from the chain link ferry, 5 minutes walk into Cowes. Barbara is a fantastic host, she does a lovely breakfast with a good choice. Room was lovely bright and airy, with everything you need. Couldn’t fault this place and will go back .
- Simon (10/5): Exactly what we were looking for while staying for the Isle of Wight festival! Definitely be back! - The location was perfect for the Isle of Wight festival! Breakfast was exactly what we needed before & after a day out, really like that we could choose exactly what we wanted. Barbara was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome! Nothing, the place was great!
- Kirsty (10/5): Wonderful stay and Barbara is a kind and attentive host , nothing too much trouble. We had a wonderful stay. - excellent position from ferry arrival. Clean and comfortable. Parking available. Wonderful breakfast. Nothing.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Barbara was very welcoming, the breakfast was hearty and delicious, and the bed was very comfortable
- Bryan (9/5): excellent location and excellent breakfast - owners were excellent and the location was also excellent
- Matthew (9/5): Immaculate guesthouse in Cowes with a wonderful.host - Clean, comfy, and excellently located.
Room was large with multiple chairs and a big new bed.
A great place to stay if you're visiting Cowes, only 10 mins walk from the ferry terminal.
Barbara is a fantastic host, and the breakfast is splendid. Will definitely stay again! I'm 6'3 and so the only caveat is that the shower on the first floor is a little low with a fixed head. But was still plenty powerful enough to make washing very easy.
