- Sarah (10/5): - This is really cute, small place. The cookies, coffee, and tea available all day in the breakfast nook were a nice touch. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. My only small complaint is that the shower was a bit awkward, with the rain shower head strangely placed. Other than that, everything was as advertised (the pictures are accurate!) At first, I wasn't sure I'd like the location, but it turned out to be really nice (and away from the hordes of tourists that swarm Rome, even in the off season!) There is a pretty plaza nearby and places to eat, and it's easy to walk to a variety of popular attractions.

- Marcia (10/5): - Friendly and helpful people. I felt very welcomed and comfortable there. I highly recommend this hotel. The only surprise I got was that they would charge €40 if you arrived after 10 p.m. My flight was delayed, and I had to pay the extra €40 that was not specified in Expedia. It was more about Expedia's mistake than the hotel's. They showed me their policies. Also, Expedia had a picture of a washing machine. It was not true. So, I was kind of disappointed with two unexpected details.
- Nickesh (8/5): - The property is clean and very well located. Nice rooms and lovely kitchen. There is a brother and sister that run the property. The brother is absolutely lovely. The sister and and one of the staff persons is a complete nightmare. Unfriendly and unaccomodating. If the brother ran this place alone it would be perfect! Problems to be aware of were: 1. Limited staffing so you are on your own. 9AM-2AM Not quick to reply on what’s app. Needed an iron and never got a response. 2. As a result of the hours there is no real bag hold possibility after check out. 3. Definitely skip the breakfast. 4. They have a kitchen but even if you want to heat something the sister says “it’s not for customers.” 5. I had some personal issues while I was there and as compensation I travelled half the country and lugged back a great bottle of wine as a present to the sister and she ungratefully took the wine and continued to be rude. 6. She charged me 30-50 EXTRA euros for check in after hours when NO where on the reservation/rules did I see that! Worse is that it was a return visit so all they had to do was give me the keys (no checkin process required). Renter beware of these issues.
- MARTHA (10/5): - We LOVED our stay here. Was perfect for us. We did a long weekend and the room was in the courtyard and the AC was fantastic after a long day of walking in the heat! The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great pressure and the bathrooms are big!! Not your typical European room which we really loved. A bit more comfort!

- Kelly (10/5): Family stay with teenagers - Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria! We booked a family room, which was large, clean and comfortable with a great shower. Perfect location, we prefer to be just outside the busy areas, and the guesthouse was within easy walk to the sights, shops and restaurants of the city. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

- Cortney (10/5): - We loved this place! Clean, safe and convenient to sites. Maria was very accommodating and friendly- she made sure we had a safe and reliable transfer from the airport to Rome and from Rome to the sea port. Overall highly recommended and an excellent place to stay while in Rome!
- mary (6/5): - First the tourist tax says 6 euros pp per night however she charged us 7 euros pp per night. Even though it clearly states that on website. It cost us an extra 10 euros. Then the website says laundry. It does not say laundry available for a charge. However when we asked about laundry she says we had to go to a laundry mat. We walked two blocked to her suggestion and they turned us away as they were too busy. We walked back And she said oh well you will have to go to another one we said we wouldn’t have booked here if there wasn’t laundry as we based our 23 day trip exactly where laundry would be. Anyways she then charged us 30 euros to do a few items of clothing. So now we were out 40 euros we also didn’t get gold Upgrade as promised by expedi Other that the place was clean and modern and great location. Just a bad taste is our mouth. False advertising and extra euros.

- Bernadette (10/5): - This is a lovely boutique hotel run by the most lovely people. You are close enough to all the tourist sites across the river, but in a quiet residential area where you can feel more like a local in the excellent restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed in the superior room, which was beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed and more than sufficient space for yoga after a morning run along the river to work off all the gelato and pasta. The hotel operators are amazing people who have the best recommendations for restaurants nearby and Christy also runs excellent walking tours. They can also arrange for airport transfers at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

- Kelly (8/5): Good Belli - Very good location - close to major sites in Ancient Rome - 15 to 20 min walks or 10 min taxi ride. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Some staff need better training on systems - had trouble dealing with problems. It has a kitchen where breakfast is prepared and has a second fridge with free water/soft drinks that can be used by patrons. No fridges in rooms. No microwave. There is a stove top and small oven that you can use. Nespresso Coffee machine in room and in kitchen. It is on 3rd floor of building with a small manually operated elevator - holds 4 people without luggage. Lots of restaurants in area a short walk away.

Christina was amazing and informative. I would stay there again. It was close to everything. We walked everywhere for the most part. Christina had great recommendations for restaurants and shopping.
- Nick (10/5): - Great location as it is out of ZTL of Rome but still walkable to most historical landmarks. 9-minutes to piazza navona etc..I was able to find street parking easily. The air conditioning struggled a little but was sufficient to provide us a cool reprieve from the heat outside. The lift was very useful for luggage as it is on 3rd floor. Overall a good choice for your trip to Rome.

- Roopali (10/5): July 2024 - family - 3 nights - Maria and her team were friendly and helpful with very good communication. Location is good and safe. There are a lot of breakfast cafes closeby with amazing options. Bus service is good though we used taxi service most of the time. Cleanliness was good - bathroom (rainshower) was awesome. Airconditioning needs to be better. It was a great to have bottled water in our rooms. There is no minifridge in the room. There is a common fridge where you can keep your stuff if you need.

- Bill (10/5): - Very large, clean room, perfect for my family of four. Very attractive newer style bathroom and shower with tile and sliding glass door. Owners were super friendly and location was great for us, able to walk to the Pantheon in 20 minutes. Many good restaurants within just a few blocks including San Marco pizzeria where we had a lovely meal our last night. There are about a dozen restaurants within three blocks.

- david (10/5): A lovely friendly place to stay - A lovely hotel, family run, very helpful and friendly, nothing too much bother. Good location away from the busy centre but close enough to walk to the centre taking in some of the lovely restaurants and bars on the way.
- Rosalie (6/5): - Hi the place was cleaning, comfortable, and location safe, however I was disappointed that I had to pay $30 euros because the receptionist had to wait for us to check in around 8 pm. Our flight was late and in addition I have lost my cell phone in Venice airport, and I could not communicate with the host Maria. I advice anyone not to book with Belli36 rooms, unless they don't mind to have a receptionist 24 hours available. If for any reason your check in will be late like my case, you will pay their fee and most like no one will be there to check you in. The receptionist Martina told us was about to leave. This is my advice, I will definitely will not return to Belli 36 rooms.
- Angelo (10/5): - So this was our first family trip to Italy and we weren't sure what to truly expect. So when we landed Maria who was amazing along with her staff, messaged me to see if we need pickup. I explained we were great as our family who live in Rome were meeting us at the airport. after some tough traffic and quick lunch we finally arrived. Maria met us as we were coming in and helped us load the elevator and send it up. we walked into the common area and it was very nice. she explained were to get cold drinks of all kinds, access to Coffee, and when breakfast was available. Then she took us to our room. She opened the door and it was amazing. It matched the photos but was actually bigger than we expected. the place was clean and the beds were comfortable and clean bathroom. She gave us a tour of where everything was, also a guide to the area. I loved that we were never rushed out of the room for room service and they were so helpful when we had to leave. I will definitely be coming back next time we are in Rome.

Great bus connection to colleseum. Amazing place to stay. Awesome place to stay.
- Pedro (10/5): Belli36, A gem in the heart of Rome. - We had a wonderful experience during our week in Rome, and part of what made it special, was staying at Belli36 Rooms. Belli36 is located within walking distance to all major attractions, and it is centered near great restaurants, cafes and gelato shops. You will always finish your day coming back to a refreshed room with great amenities to relax, and rest.

The breakfast service was a nice benefit especially the morning cappuccino. We also took advantage of one of their walking tour options provided by a local staff member. If you want a delightful experience walking the streets of Rome and enjoying Roman life, definitely ask about a tour (they don’t advertise the offering).
- Katrina (10/5): - Great location and nice rooms. We did have some miscommunication on shuttle service but that was problem with Expedia. Don't try to communicate through Expedia for after hour communication. It was around 12 hours delayed. The number I had was a landline so didn't help.
- Cheryl (10/5): Cozy, quiet spot - 36 Belli is a cozy 7 room Hotel. It is located in Prati Roma in a residential neighborhood within walking distance to the Saint Peter’s Square, the Vatican Museum, The Coliseum, Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain as well as the Castel Sant’Angelo. The rooms are quiet, comfortable and clean. Maria and Giovanni and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend 36 Belli.

Thankfully there is a small elevator to go upstairs. My only complaint is I wish we were provided some instructions from the staff about how to find the hotel reception. The rooms themselves were very secure, tall ceilings made it seem big, and we had a large shower. Free water bottles was a huge plus. Overall our stay was just what we needed for peaceful 2 night's rest in between our exploring of Rome. Thank you Belli36!

The staff stayed in contact with us through WhatsApp. They arranged a private car to the airport at a good price. We stayed at the lowest floor where there were two rooms that shared a courtyard and a large area with a couch, table, kitchen area, with a refrigerator and washer/dryer. We were allowed to take cold water bottles from the frig. There were also cookies and candies on the table. It was very welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was the same. It was perfect for us.

Centrally located between a lot of key places to visit, though Roma is quite large so it still took some walking to get to some of the major attractions (eg colosseum). Nonetheless it’s right in the middle of Colosseum, Vatican, and Travestere which were the areas we wanted to visit most so found this to be a convenient location and a long walk in a city like Rome is nothing to complain about as there are countless things to see along the way. Very clean, cute, and comfortably spacious accommodations with lots of nice places to eat nearby.The AC wasn’t super great so our room was a bit warm at night but there were massive windows to open. Though the surrounding area isn’t overly crowded, it was still a bit loud to sleep with the windows open as there is a rooftop bar across the street that played music and random city noise but nothing too crazy or that can’t be solved with ear plugs, which I use anyways being from a busy city. All in all, I can’t complain - we really enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

The only drawback is that there is no one at the front desk most of the time... you will need to text them if you have any requests or needs.

We felt safe in the area and it was nice and quiet for us to rest after a long day of walking. Also, there were many dining options and within walking distance to all the attractions. Staff were very friendly - thank you Melissa! Toiletries were nice and we really liked the boutique style of the hotel, felt very cozy, warm and safe. We would recommend Belli 36 to our friends and family, thank you!

Property is literally across the street from a Marriott property at half the cost. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great little hotel! - Our room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly. It was only about a 20-minute walk to the city center. We also easily navigated the bus from the hotel when needed. The staff was nice. Maria and another man were by far the most helpful and the friendliest. We had a lovely time despite the insane heat wave. Our kids loved the cool elevator.

Our bedroom was light and spacious, it was cleaned every day. The service was fantastic and all the staff we saw were kind and helpful. We would definitely return here.

Property in great area. Walked to all famous sights and beyond. Excellent shower and toiletries. Krups espresso and bottled water refreshed daily. Elevator in building. I felt safe walking alone at night. Maria arranged transfer from airport 50 euro and transfer to cruise terminal in Civitavecchia 120 euro. I booked this based on reviews and this hotel exceeded my expectations. There are reasons why its rated so highly and it starts with service.

- Ian (10/5): Warm and welcoming in a great location - Our stay at Belli36 rooms was exactly what were hoping for. The owners, Maria and Giovanni, along with all their staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The property is in a quiet area within walking distance of Vatican City and all of the major attractions in the main city. The neighbourhood where it’s located is full of great restaurants which are ideal after a hectic day of sightseeing. The room itself was clean, comfortable with great amenities (including air conditioning and a nespresso machine) and we felt we could relax properly in between bouts of sightseeing, ready to go again. We loved out stay there and would definitely book again when next back in Rome.

- bree (10/5): Fabulous Rome visit!! - The area was perfect! Very close to everything! The owners were very helpful and made some fantastic recommendations! They were very helpful in arranging a late check in as our flight was delayed many hours. This so much better than the traditional hotel. We were able to get a real Italian experience while meeting other very nice fellow travelers. We were also traveling with our 9 and 11 year old, I was concerned that this could be a bad fit but there was no need for my concern. The kids were happily welcomed as well.
