Ein Traum am traumhaften Gardasee - Das Gioiosa ist ein wundervolles, sehr familiär und herzlich geführtes Hotel für Familien in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Riva und dem Gardasee. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, das ESSEN darf ohne Zweifel als ein absolutes Highlight bezeichnet werden, die Betten sind ein Traum und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt zu 100% Alles war wunderbar, ohne Einschränkung

Janina (8/5): - Komfortable, saubere Zimmer, freundliche Personal Sehr gutes Hotel für Familien mit Kleinkindern, leider nicht für Teenager. Essen serviert zu früh. Eine Nutzung Schwimmbades am Abend ist nicht möglich. Es gibt kein Wäscheständer für nasse Kleidung.

natacha (10/5): - Tout était parfait. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Tous ont à coeur de vous rendre service et de faire de votre séjour un moment de détente et plaisir. L'hôtel est très propre. La chambre est spacieuse et disposait d'une belle terrasse. La literie est très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Tout est frais et il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts. Nous avons également dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel 2x. Chaque jour le menu est différent et propose antipasti, choix entre deux entrées, trois plats (poisson, viande, végétarien) et choix entre 2 desserts. Les plats sont vraiment de bonne qualité. Mon mari étant un bon mangeur trouvait les portions un peu juste. Pour ma part, je n'aurais pas pu manger plus. Vu que nous avons eu un jour de pluie, nous en avons profité pour réserver un massage. Merci à Elena pour ce moment de pure détente. Un hôtel que nous recommandons et dans lequel nous espérons trouver une chambre si nous revenons dans cette magnifique région. Il s'agit d'un hôtel adapté aux familles. Nous sommes venus en couple et la présence des enfants n'est vraiment pas un problème pour nous. Bref, ce séjour prend fin trop vite.

Joost (9/5): Fantastisch! - Vriendelijk en voldoende personeel, fantastisch eten en uitgebreide keuze. Goede, ontspannen atmosfeer. Het hotel ligt wat verder van het meer, maar er zijn gratis fietsen en via een goed fietspad kun je er makkelijk en veilig komen. Ook een snelle bus is gratis met de Trentino guest card die je krijgt.

Norm (10/5): We enjoyed a rejuvenating stay enjoying the customer service and meals and quietness. - The breakfast was sensational. Food was fresh and healthy. There were many choices including choices appealing to children that can be approved by parents. The fragrance of complimentary bathroom products which were also on sale. The location from Riva Del Garda for people without a car relying on public transport and walking to the town centre.

Ion (10/5): Amazing family hotel at Lake Garda with exquisite food - Very nice and clean hotel. The pool and outdoor-sauna were amazing. The restaurant offered a delicious breakfast and dinner with a high quality menu, especially for kids. The staff was professional, very friendly and helpful. My kids (5 and 7) loved the kids-club very much and my husband and I enjoyed having lunch while our kids had a great time in the kids club. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Duncan (10/5): Best Family Hotel - Great hotel to stop through with kids, plenty of activities (mini-golf, pool, trampoline, sports area), kids room, snacks through the day and many other activities round the area. Rooms were clean and the views amazing. We didn't plan a long enough stay in the area but the lake and surrounding towns looked lovely.

Mary (6/5): Not our kind of place - I'll kick off by saying this hotel is for a very specific type of tourist, which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but it doesn't deal at all well with guests who don't necessarily want to follow a set agenda of when to eat, play, travel and sleep. It's also geared very heavily towards German speakers. The staff do cater for other languages but not nearly so well. This led to us not really knowing what was on offer to us and we missed out on a few things we could have taken advantage of. I'm not entirely sure how kid friendly they are either. One of the staff full-on yelled at my kids for spinning round in the chair by reception while I was trying to read the local tourist guide. They were extremely wary around her after that. The rooms were ok but small (we had a family comfort room) so expect to have to tiptoe around if your kids fall asleep before you. And all outside lights are turned out by 11pm (there are no private lights on the balconies) so, again, you'll be sitting in the dark outside if you want to enjoy a glass of wine after that. Finally, it's a bit outside Riva Del Garda (10 - 15 minute drive). Again, that's ok if you plan to centre yourself around the hotel the whole time (which seems to be the idea) but not ideal if you plan to spend a bit of time enjoying the fantastic food and events that are available in town. At €320 a night, it's also very overpriced for what it is, whichever way you look at it.
