El buffet a pesar de tener un gran público extranjero nos pareció muy rico y variado ya que en ocasiones puede ser comida ‘española’ que deja mucho que desear al paladar nacional pero todo lo contrario. Variedad y comida sana. La camarera de habitación Loli fue súper amable:) (gracias por tu simpatía) y el director del hotel también nos vino a preguntar el último día lo cual fue un detalle. todo estaba muy limpio. Aunque sea un hotel muy grande no sentí grandes aglomeraciones ni mucha gente. El horario de la cena para los españoles es demasiado temprano. Aunque cierre 21:30h la realidad es que para cenar mejor y sin prisas hay que bajar demasiado pronto para el horario español.

• Linda (10/5): Excellent hotel with great facilities. - We stayed for 17 days (1st time) and loved everything about the Riu Garoe. The staff are very welcoming especially in the restaurant, they work hard and ensure everything is perfect. The housekeeping is excellent and standards for cleanliness is very high, not only in rooms but all around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decor is lovely. There is plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Mini fridge. The bathroom is beautiful with double wash basins and large shower with a door. Towels and bath robes were pure white ( for me this is a must). The pool is very well kept and a good system for allocating towels and sunbeds. The food is exceptional, so much choice. Very good breakfast with fruits, eggs cooked to order, rolls, croissants etc. Dinner also has great choices, beautiful salads, soups, cheeses, meats. Steak and fish cooked to order. Beautiful desserts. The pool bar/snack bar and main bar are really comfortable and great variety of cocktails. Evening entertainment. We always stay in the La Paz area and its a quiet, beautiful area. We didnt use the courtesy bus as we had a car. No problems parking on the street or on grounds adjacent to the hotel. We would definitely return to this hotel. Stayed in many hotels and apartments in Puerto for 40+ years and this is our favourite. This is minor but we do like a coffee first thing in the morning. A Nespresso machine would be great but equally a kettle would be appreciated.

• Sandra (9/5): Muy buen hotel más enfocado a adultos y sobre todo alemanes! - Personal súper amable, instalaciones muy limpias y súper tranquilo. La comida es excelente! Le faltan detalles para un 4 estrellas como amenities de baño muy básicas y que todo esté tan enfocado a alemanes hace que por ejemplo a las 17.00 no hay nada para comer en ningún bar del hotel, hay que esperar a la cena a las 18.30. Tampoco hay nada para niños ni animación, ni club ni espacios para ellos y está alejado del centro de Puerto de la Cruz. Si se va con niños, son aspectos a tener en cuenta

• Blanca (9/5): Hotel precioso de calidad, tranquilo, y comida deliciosa - Si volvemos a tenerife, repetiremos. Es un hotel precioso y muy cuidado, buenas habitaciones, buenas vistas, pero para nosotros lo mejor es que ha sido muy tranquilo, la comida excelente y el personal muy amable, un servicio muy bueno. Es para personas que busquen calma. Hay muchas personas jubiladas, pero también alguna familia como nosotros, con una niña de 2 años, y nos ha encantado el ambiente tranquilo… Hay que destacar también el personal del buffet, y que la comida es muy buena y muy variada. Hay que coger coche para ir a sitios pero vale la pena por el hotel.

• FRANCK (10/5): Un hôtel comme on les aime ! - Un hôtel comme on aime, pas club, parfait ! les personnes qui y travaillent on le sourire et sont toujours prêts à vous rendre le moment agréable. La propreté, les repas buffets, qui ne sont pas ma tasse de thé pourtant, sont vraiment de qualité et variés. Bravo et merci ! Une semaine en demi-pension réussie !
• oliver (9/5): Hôtel Garoé, le havre de paix ! - L’hôtel est exceptionnel en tout point. Tout d’abord le personnel est très agréable et efficace. Je remercie tout le monde (et je vais en oublier): À l’accueil, au bar, à la piscine, au restaurant, le personnel des chambres,… Petit déjeuner et dîner en buffet de très bonne qualité. Le choix proposé conviendra à tout le monde. Plancha pour les poissons au top. Nous avons bénéficié d’une chambre avec vue sur l’océan: merci à la réception de nous l’avoir accordé. Bonne situation géographique pour vadrouiller, on trouve toujours de la place sur le parking. Les jardins sont très bien entretenus: c’est luxuriant. Bref, difficile de trouver des critiques: nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Alors …si il fallait trouver quelque chose: la restauration, à notre époque (mai), n’était pas possible le soir à l’extérieur. La possibilité d’éteindre soi même la lumière de la terrasse (elle s’éteint automatiquement vers minuit).

Wir waren in der Vorsaison dort, so dass das Hotel nicht ausgebucht war. Das Essen ist eher Durchschnitt. Es ist reichlich, aber mit Luft nach oben.

• JAMMES (9/5): Fabuleux - Tout est vraiment à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles et un bonus pour la qualité de la restauration que ce soit au petit déjeuner ou au dîner, cuisine de qualité avec buffets très variés. Hotel très bien situé, au calme dans un beau quartier, à 2 pas du jardin botanique. Chambre et hotel très confortables et très propres. Vues magnifiques sur le Teide ou sur l'océan. Seul tout petit bémol, pas d'espace restauration dans le jardin pour y prendre le petit déjeuner ou le dîner. Et l'éclairage dans la salle de bain n'est pas idéal.

Het eten is van goede kwaliteit, lekker klaargemaakt en er is dagelijks variatie in zowel het ontbijt als het avondmaal. De kamers zijn ruim en erg netjes. Dit hotel is een echte aanrader in noord-Tenerife met een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. We komen graag terug! Wij hebben niets op te merken.

Friendly staff. The spa is small but alright for one visit. The tennis rackets are old. They need new strings and grips. The staff doesn’t seem to know well what a good tennis racket should be like. The rooms don’t have tea kettles but one can ask for it. It came after a couple of reminders.

• Monika (6/5): - Das Personal verdient ein großes Lob. Immer extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. super! Als Alleinreisende ein Zimmer ganz unten und zur Nordseite. Also unmittelbar an den Sportanlagen und so ganz ohne Sonne. Es war dadurch im Februar sehr sehr kalt im Zimmer.

A diversidade de oferta foi ótima, tanto no pequeno-almoço como ao jantar, mantendo a qualidade durante toda a estadia. O hotel é muito calmo e a piscina exterior aquecida é divinal, perfeita para os dias mais frescos. Nada que tenha impactado a minha estadia. Apenas como nota construtiva (que não será relevante para 99% dos hóspedes), a área do ginásio poderia ser um pouquinho mais desenvolvida.

• Winfried (9/5): Erholsamer Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung - Das sehr gepflegte und sehr saubere Hotel liegt ruhig in schöner parkähnlicher Umgebung in der Nähe des Botanischen Gartens. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, bieten ausreichende Ablagemöglichkeiten, werden täglich gereinigt und verfügen über bequeme und breite Betten. Wer Wert auf Sonne legt sollte ein Zimmer mit Poolblick bzw. Teideblick buchen. Sowohl Frühstücks- als auch Abendbuffet waren sehr umfangreich, schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich. Durch den auf ca. 23 Grad beheizten Pool war auch im Januar das Schwimmen angenehm. Am Pool waren ausreichend sehr bequeme Liegen vorhanden. Der Service im Hotel ist in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

• Thomas (9/5): Ein Hotel mit Freundlichkeit und Charme, das wir wieder buchen würden. - Ein sehr schönes Hotel in einem interessanten und abwechslungsreichen Baustil. Ein kostenloser Shuttlebus, vor dem Hotel, fährt mehrmals täglich ins Stadtzentrum und zurück. Man kann aber auch gut zu Fuß dahin gelangen. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel gibt es einen wunderschönen, kleinen botanischen Garten mit zahlreichen blühenden Pflanzen und mächtigen Bäumen. Eine Oase der Ruhe. Wieder zum Hotel - der Speiseraum ist sehr groß und entsprechend gut frequentiert. Man hat aber die Möglichkeit, sich in verschiedene Bereiche zurück zu ziehen. Das Buffet ist, sowohl morgens, als auch abends, riesig, abwechslungsreich und schmackhaft. Es ist an alle Bedürfnisse gedacht. Selbst zum Ende der Mahlzeiten wurde noch nachgelegt, das fand ich bemerkenswert und nicht selbstverständlich. Das Personal sowohl an der Rezeption, wie auch in der Bar oder dem Restaurant war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und erfüllte einem die Wünsche direkt. Es war auffallend, mit welcher natürlichen Freundlichkeit die Gäste mit all ihren Unterschiedlichkeiten behandelt worden. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön. Das einzig Auffallende war die ewige Feuchtigkeit auf den gefliesten Wegen in den Außenbereichen. Die Aufsteller "Vorsicht rutschig" waren ständig präsent. Ein Treppenaufgang befand sich relativ ungeschützt im Freien, sodass er bei Regen nass war. Das mag zu den warmen Saisonzeiten alles anders sein. Aber wir waren über Weihnachten dort und zu dieser Zeit war das schon ein Problem. Man musste sehr vorsichtig gehen.

• Natalia (10/5): Nuestra estancia fue desde el minuto uno una maravilla, el gran recibimiento que tuvieron, nos ofrecieron un zumo de bie - Todo prácticamente, es increíble. Una pega que pondría es que la televisión no tuviera SMART TV.
• Benjami (8/5): I dont really find perfect hotels, but if I ever go back to tenerife, I would definitely go for here again! - Very kind personnel, the hotel is high quality, restaurant is extraordinary! Our room AC was smelly, questionable how do they maintain those, it was also loud and not really cooled anything down, however it was definitely better when you entered to the room compared to what temperature was outside!
• Célia (8/5): - Cadre magnifique. Literie très confortable. Le personnel était agréable et discret. Le buffet très varié et très bon. Ce n’est pas normal de devoir payer pour utiliser le coffre fort dans la chambre. Le mobilier est un peu vieillot dans les espaces communs intérieurs

• Pablo (10/5): Muy recomendable por muchas razones - Desayunos y cenas con mucha variedad, para todos los gustos. Todo apetecible, y tan difícil de elegir! Todo el personal muy amable, siempre dispuestos, atentos a los niños pequeños. Las habitaciones amplias, con balcón y vistas a piscinas y jardines muy cuidados. Spa, juegos, música en directo, pero también tranquilidad. Nada!
