Guest Reviews
- Rachel (2/5): No communication - I didn’t get to stay here as I had no contact from the property until 1hr before check in.
I tried to call a disconnected number several times. Hotels.com tried to email and contact them on my behalf with no luck.
I had cancel my travel plans and business meeting because of this.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Really nice place close to all amenities
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Booked a 1 bedroom apartment, on arrival we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. The TV wasn't working and we were hoping to watch the Wales game on Sunday morning. Not a problem upgraded to the penthouse. Superb
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Wasnt quite to the stabdard of other serviced apartments ive stayed in in liverpool before
- Mario (8/5): Nice place, nice location, couple of small issues. - Stayed for work for 5 nights. Slight issue with the room door, which was rectified in a timely manner.
Also had a slight problem getting a receipt/invoice, although this may be a Hotels.com thing and not the accommodation.
Parking (the multi storey next door) was quite expensive at £11 for 8-12hrs and £17 for 12-24hrs but I suppose it’s a city centre so may be average?
Would stay again, but hopefully it won’t be such a drama to get an invoice/receipt sent through for my expenses.
- Miss K A (4/5): Smelly, broken bed, no tea or coffee - Things didn't bode well when we arrived to a locked door...called the number and we're given a code and told our apartment was unlocked with key inside. That bit was ok I guess but not exactly a check in...
The flat smelt of mould and cigarettes. There were 2 tea bags, no coffee, no sugar even though it specifically stated there would be. There was no hair dryer either. The light in the hallway didn't work.
The bed was so uncomfortable that at 2am i tried to move to the sofa bed in the lounge and discovered it was broken. If there had been more than 2 of us staying this would have been a disaster.
It was quiet and there was plenty of space but for £90 it was pretty awful. We'll be seeking a refund at least partially as it was not as advertised.
Stay in a hotel or an airbnb. Not here.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No answer on phone. Stranded. - Could not check-in so had to book another hotel and significant extra expense.
- gill (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - From when I booked in June to stay at the end of November it was a shambles. Emailed for parking, to check in early no response. Called several times to find out how to pick key up no response. Expedia then tried “oh they had changed their phone number!!”.
Check in 2pm no early check in so arrived 2.20pm called to pick key up straight to voicemail. Then she answered and said park in public car park and and come back for key. We did but then went back to voice mail!! 15mins later we get into apartments to be told we can’t go in apartment yet the last guests checked out late and haven’t cleaned the room!! My wedding we were attending was starting at 4pm. So we had to go in to change!! It was a pig sty still took cleaners another 10muns before they arrived. The cleaners only nice helpful ones there!!! The entire apt smelt!! The bed was lumpy and soft so uncomfortable. Awful awful awful I want a partial refund!!!
- karen (10/5): overnight stay for echo arena Bruno mars - Brilliant location 2 mins to arena and city centre ... great accommodation . Spacious modern apartment with all requirements needed. Clean and modern with balcony view of the Mersey.. easy access and convenient to all Liverpool areas. Had a great time and was extremely happy with the accommodation
- Nemo (10/5): Fab - This was a last minute valentines booking. I was not expecting it to be so nice & cosy. I will be booking again. Amazing price for the location. Thanks x
- Natasha (6/5): Small room next to Hyde Park - The room was so tiny! Alright location right near pubs and bars for an evening dinner and drinks but our room faced the main road and the traffic was noisey. 5 minute walk from Hyde Park which was nice and the room was clean. Breakfast was okay but not great. I've never stayed in London before so maybe it's normal!
- J-R (10/5): Excellent location on waterfront - Comfortable and clean with balcony and bath equipped kitchen and washing machine . But you must ring ahead to get initial access on arrival as no concierge .
5 min walk to Albert dock and L1 shopping area and Cavern club .
Only negative really bad wifi .
- Verified traveler (10/5): lovely clean appartment - night out with girls
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice room but stunk of smoke - Overall our stay was just what we needed and the room was pleasant with a nice balcony. I had a terrible booking experience with them though as they took 50% of the room rate on booking when I had booked a "book now pay on arrival" booking. I paid £35 more for this rate and when I brought it up with the hotel I was simply shunned off and ignored which I hate! Felt a bit ripped off before we had even got there! Check in was fine and as I said the room was nice but it did stink of smoke, I'm guessing someone had been smoking in the bedroom which obviously isn't the staffs fault but thought it maybe should of been mentioned to us on arrival?
- Janet (6/5): A bit more attention to detail needed - This wasn't the best self catering apartment we've stayed in - there were too many small things that needed attention. For example, there were no teaspoons or kitchen knives, which made cooking difficult, and there were lots of signs of wear and tear, such as broken blinds, cracked worktops and a broken chair. I don't think it was worth the price we paid. That said, the apartment was in a good location in a great city, and it was very clean and tidy for our arrival.
- Paul (10/5): Ideal apartment for city break - Spent weekend in Liverpool and not only is the apartment is a great size, it is also an ideal location for visiting Liverpool. Centrally located and walking distance to all the famous attractions on the famous Liverpool waterfront. Apartment was clean and amenities were . Staff on reception, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended :)
- Stuart (8/5): Lovely apartment in great city location - Great accomodation, will definitely stay here again
- DAVID (10/5): - I don't think I should say too much in case it is fully booked next time I am up in Liverpool!
- Caroline (10/5): Very pleased - Excellent
- ben (6/5): Improvements necessary - This hotel needs to improve, the rooms are good value, but there are no signs to find the property, the reception doesn't exist, again no signed on how to find it, this needs to be improved. Only through luck we ran into someone who knew. Reception is badly managed, our room wasn't ready and we had to delay plans by over an hour. Wifi in rooms never worked, reception couldn't help.
