Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): - The room was clean and close to our travels
- Kimberly (2/5): - Not worth the price. Rooms not Quality. Broken TV, Ice Machine, Linkage sink,
- Kimberly (2/5): - Not worth price.
- Wendy (8/5): - It was ok really. Good room at a cheap price. I was happy. I just needed to get out of the car for a while and sleep.
- Lewis (4/5): - You get what you pay for. This is an older facility that has had some minor upgrades. The linens were mostly clean, I returned a couple of pillowcases. The furniture was worn and the tub/shower looked like a war had happened in it. The door wouldnt completely lock so we blocked it with a sofa. If you want cheap, under $100 a night, and just a mostly clean bed. . . There are lots of better options in the area.
- Savina (10/5): - Great for the price room needs some renovations but the staff is amazing they went above and beyond
- Billie (8/5): - The front desk assistant was great a the room was good . My only issue was the top comforter was dingy an dirty so I removed it but as I was leaving I watched the guy pick it off the floor an lay it in the tv table so he could put it back on the bed. It needed washed so that was a little concerning to me . Other than that my stay was good
- Devon (8/5): - There were alot of vagrants roaming around. The front desk attendant was very nice, helpful, and pleasant. The room was what you'd expect it to be. Late the last night I stayed there some guy upstairs caused a ruckus so loud the law was called. Sounded like he broke into the room above me and was slamming the furniture around yelling and screaming. Stomping on the floor. Other than that my stay was ok I guess.
- James (10/5): - Everything was just fine
- Chelsea (10/5): - We just stopped to get some rest and we got just that. I’d stay again!
- Richard (2/5): - A lot of the sheetrox molded and had busted corners. And head stains, the floors were peeling back on the way minute. There were cockroaches running around the sinks were broke and water would randomly drip out
- Max (10/5): -
Inexpensive Clean rooms, comfortable beds and small continental breakfast. No coffeemaker in room only downside.
- James (10/5): - Quiet, clean,
- rene (8/5): - Good
- Gary (8/5): - Place is well maintained and staff was friendly and answered all my questions.
Conveniently located off exit for easy on and off access to interstate.
Rooms were comfortable and price was reasonable.
- Lydell (8/5): - The motel served the immediate needs.
- Tim (10/5): - Slept well
- Andy (6/5): - Not now
- Don (6/5): - Had trouble getting TV to work
- Shannon (2/5): - Nasty
- Amy (8/5): - Very nice man in the office. The room 104 was large and clean. Only issue I had was around 11 pm a family with some kids checked into and were out in room above me so those small kids running around was loud until they settled down. I would stay again
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and perfect for one night on the road - Easy convenient check in. Clean room. The tub did not have a plug to take a bath but otherwise comfortable and meeting all needs. Lots of franchise food options but we drove four miles to Michael’s for an OK dinner. Trying to support local restaurants…
- Rolande (10/5): Great value - A no frills hotel that was clean, comfortable, close to tons of restaurants. A great value for the price. No carpet for the allergy travelers which was nice after 2 weeks of carpeted hotels.
- Trevaun (6/5): - The cleanliness could’ve been a little better but overall it was a decent stay. Very nice staff and helpful overall.
- Ashley (2/5): Bed Bugs infestation - I was awaken by bed bugs all in the bed had only been sleep for two hours pulled the cover back they were all on the blanket in between the sheet and cover blanket. Left and drove 2 hours back home. I was on the bottom and could hear every footstep and voice above and around me.
- Gregory (10/5): - Convenient location, clean rooms and friendly staff.
- Tresa (2/5): Would not recommend - The ONLY nice thing about this hotel was the guy at the front desk. I’m not a picky person but the room was terrible. Stains on the bedspread w/ mattresses that were full size on queen size platforms. Not comfortable and squeaky when you moved. Furniture outdated and in poor shape. No need to go on…. we left at 2:00 am.
- CHARLES (10/5): Clean, comfortable and economical - Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Unique lighting in the rooms. Economical for a 1-night stay.
- Mia (8/5): - The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean
- Jack (4/5): - We booked 2 rooms while driving home from Florida. One for us and one for our friends traveling with us. When we arrived the manager stated we had to use the chargecard the rooms were booked with. Whenever we book hotels with a charge card when we check in we are asked what card we want to use for the room. The manager would not allow us to use a different card and to have our friends use their card to pay for their room. This hotel also no longer has a pool. Furniture, tv, appliances very outdated. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.
- Ken (2/5): - WAS PROBABLY A SMOKING ROOM AND TREEATED WITH SMELLY PERFUME!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I book hotels weekly in this area for my employees this week i heard from both of my crews that the experience was terrible. One room was infested with cockroaches and the one employee was bit by what appears to be bed bugs. The other employees complained the beds were very uncomfortable and that there was the smell of Marijuana and alot of noise coming from the hallways. They were approached in the parking lot upon arrival from a front desk person and was told they could not park there. Overall was an unpleasant experience.
- Dale (8/5): - Room was clean and comfortable. Very quite location as well.
- Sara (4/5): - breakfast not adequate
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel is being refurbished. My room was very noisy as I could hear every movement from the occupied room above me. My TV did not work. The furniture was very dated despite new linens. Breakfast consisted of two types of cereal and coffee. There were a few packaged muffins and crackers. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Water pressure was adequate in the shower.
- Larry (8/5): - It was ok
- Danielle (2/5): - My room was soo nasty.. there was a persons wrist brace left right on the counter. I got bit by bugs in the bed. The refrigerator leaked and left puddles on the floor all over. I’m glad they were pet friendly but I wouldn’t even call that fit even for my dog.
- Tins (8/5): - It was a nice hotel and clean the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
- Beverly (10/5): - There were several restaurants in the area
The bathroom sink didn't drain good
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place was cleaN. The staff was pleasant. Had working appliances.
- Lona (8/5): - Friendly staff.
- mary (10/5): Nice motel - Easy check, friendly front desk help, very clean and spacious room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There were other guests in the building stomping around so loudly above us that it was shaking the walls in our room. We tried repeatedly to ask a couple other rooms to hold it down and also complained to the on site manager, who did nothing. The noise did not stop until after 4 AM. There were also people cussing and shouting in the lot outside our room. We had to drive 8 hours at 7 AM the next day on basically no sleep. When I complained to the manager the next morning, he shrugged and told me to fill out a comment card and that he "just worked there and didn't have any control over the other guests". Also we found someone's medication on the floor upon entering our room and certain things in the room, like the toilet paper holder, were literally pulling out of the wall. Stay at an AirBnb, they're 100x nicer and the same price or cheaper than this.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First, I was required to sign a paper with incomplete/inaccurate information upon my arrival. I crossed off inaccurate information and hand-wrote the correct information on the form. Then, I passed the document back to the host of the hotel. He changed the room from a downstairs room to an upstairs room. I asked why and his response was the workers stay on the lower level. Interesting observation...I watched another (not worker) patron enter a lower level room. Secondly, I reserved a non-smoking room and was told the upper level room was a non-smoking room. My son suffered with asthma attacks throughout the 5 hours we were in the non-smoking room. Interesting observation...There were burns on the bathroom sink from cigarettes. Thirdly, car alarms were going off throughout the 5 hours of available rest. I was awakened at least 3 times by a car alarm! I actually starting checking to see if my vehicle was being tampered/broken into. Fourthly, the neighboring room watched their television all night with a loud volume. It made it very hard to get a good rest for traveling the next morning. My fifth (and final) concern was breakfast was available at 7 AM, but no possibility of a bag breakfast was available at 6 AM. The other hotels my family used during our trip were significantly more accepting to early departures. If a warm breakfast wasn't available, a bag breakfast was offered! I am very unsatisfied with this Econo Lodge located in Athens, TN!
- Wally (8/5): Econo - Athens - Room was clean and ready,
- Anonymous (2/5): - The room smelled terrible and the toilet was not clean. Urine was on the seat and rim. I had to use a washcloth to clean it myself. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was not very clean. TV didn't work. Room need updated
- Misty (10/5): - The rooms look really good now. Well kept. Clean and clean beds.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Clan, if you only need bed to sleep - The room was clean and fine for a trip where you only need a clean bed to get some sleep in. The attitude of the staff was not very friendly and the drains in the sink and bathtub did not drain properly. Again, it its clean and OK for a clean bed to sleep if that is all you need. I will try something else next time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No frills, just a nice clean comfortable room - quiet, close to the interstate, no fuss. Easy checkin, courteous staff. Good food options in walking distance. Exactly what I wanted.
- DARRAIN (6/5): Good enough for quick overnight stops - Glad I was able to book at midnight and then check in at 3am because I could not drive any longer. Right off the highway and has everything you need to get some quick rest. However, it's far from luxurious and building is aged. Walls were paper thin and I could hear the guy next door snoring, no joke. It was nice to lay down in a bed, but I could hear everything going on next door and outside in parking lot! So my rest was not perfect.
- John (6/5): - Room was clean except for chair had spots on it overall ok for price
- Glorianne (10/5): Excellent price and room. - Very clean and comfortable room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Showing its age, but clean and well kept. Staff was very pleasant.
- DeeDee (10/5): - Room was good, but the front pop nachine was empty. Lots of choices for restaurants. Ruby Tuesdat was right across the street and Waffle House beside it
- Barbara (2/5): - Horrible place beds hard pillows lumpy. Shower curtain had mold all along bottom. Ask for sale discount and they wouldn't accept it. Got mad when I told them how bad room was.
- Lisa (10/5): Excellent - This place was unbelievably great!! Lisa at the front desk was amazing! The room was awesome! The mattress was perfect!!
