Guest Reviews
- Kathryn (10/5): - Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. very limited restaurant choices in the town
- Curtis (10/5): - breakfast was very good. Lacey at the front desk is a top notch employee. I know because I managed a motel and I would hire her in a minute!!!
- Robert (10/5): - Nice room. Comfy bed. Decent sized room. Maybe replace those two flashing parking lot lights. You should add those PTAC air deflectors so the curtains don't blow open. Here's a link.

- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice Hotel, inexpensive. One of the nicer hotels I have been at lately and in a real small town, that is nice to see.
- Kevin (10/5): - This Hotel was very nice and inexpensive. I have stayed at many places and this right up near the top. Very nice hotel

- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice Hotel, inexpensive. One of the nicer hotels I have been at lately and in a real small town, that is nice to see.
- Graham (8/5): Decent enough! - Nice stay. Room was spacious and was comfortable. Check in was a little abrupt and not super welcoming. Hallway carpets were pretty dirty. The 1-ply toilet paper wasn't great! TV's have a NETFLIX option, but no netflix is available! It was, however, a very nice stay overall.
- Michael (10/5): The best place in town! - The best place in town.
- DeLeis (8/5): - The staff went out of their way to help us. It was really clean. The beds were wonderful. I would recommend this place
- Joanna (8/5): - Town of Rangley
- Keri (10/5): - One of the nicest pool areas I've seen in awhile. Staff was excellent!
- Randy (10/5): - .
- Josephine (10/5): - The staff at this hotel were excellent. They were very accomodating and kind.
- Lori (10/5): - We actually didn’t stay here this time. We cancelled our stay but donated our rooms to those being evacuated. The staff was very helpful in helping get those rooms to someone who needed them. However, we have stayed there before and the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
- John (10/5): - Nice hotel. My husband had a bad check in experience....the young guy at the front was pretty rude and not a people person. Aside from that issue our room was clean and spacious and bed was sooo comfy. Kids took a quick swim and pool is a nice indoor pool. Also breakfast is provided. Would stay here again if needed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The
- Judy (10/5): - Nice staff
- Chris (6/5): - The hotel was adequate. Nothing flashing and nothing causing great concern. Rangely is another small town in the middle of nowhere, so it was perfect for the location.
- George (10/5): - Good place for staying a night or two, very close to the Dinasoer Monument!
- Denise A. (10/5): - The rooms were clean and the pool was great.
- Bridgett (10/5): Solid Place to Hang Your Hat - Great, affordable, clean rooms right outside Dinosaur National Monument. Be sure to call ahead before booking with a pet via a third-party company. Or note you’re traveling with one in the request section. They only have a few pet friendly rooms and you don’t wanna show up with your dog and find out that they’re all booked. Continental breakfast was great! Waffles and brand-name microwave breakfast sandwiches/burritos, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal etc. Indoor pool is nice. Walking distance to groceries and a gas station with snacks.
- Yoram (6/5): - Overall an ok stay at Rangely. No other options really. The room are ok, but the breakfast is probably one of the poorest I encountered.
- Paul (8/5): - Nice hotel, challenging location for food.
- Gerald (8/5): - Very friendly staff.
- Michelle (10/5): - Easy check in. Nice bed
- Lucinda (10/5): - Best place in town. Very clean, friendly helpfully staff.
- Edward (6/5): Small hotel in Rangeley - It’s the only hotel in town that they let you know that!!
- Magnus (10/5): Mass NM - It was perfect. The pool a big hit with my daughter.
- Karla A (10/5): - Great experience. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
- Suzanne (10/5): - The front desk woman was very friendly. Her boyfriend came in and we chatted for a time, very nice person. The town closed up early so finding a later dinner was challenging.
- Wyatt (4/5): - Very nice staff, washer and dryer worked well. Rooms were in need of update and maintenance. Air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine going off…all night, earplugs helped, but Xanax would have been better. Terrible pillows, sheets didn’t fit bed and chair in room was disgusting.
- Ashley (8/5): - There was a picnic area outside.
- Cheryl (10/5): - Friendly, laundry was very inexpensive, quiet, pool
- Cathy (8/5): - The inn was cute. Could use some more outlets or lamps near the bed with a couple of outlets. Was a bit challenging with my husband c-pap machine. All in all was nice and I slept great.
- Sayyam (8/5): - Furniture is quite old. AC in some units are faulty and need replacement. Staff was helpful.
- Judy (10/5): - Clean room and friendly clerks
- Jackie (10/5): - Great place to stay, the only area I would like to see improved are the beds, they were spring mattresses with a very thin topper, not so comfortable. But everything else was wonderful.
- Danielle (10/5): - It was a great clean hotel.
- Nancy (10/5): - We got an excellent recommendation for dinner from the front desk. Rooms are large. Nice saltwater pool.
- Ron (10/5): - We were very pleased with everything about the facility.
- Teresa (10/5): - great value
- Stephani (6/5): - The sound through the attaching doors between rooms was very high. Could hear everything in the next room.
- Beatriz (10/5): - Nice and clean place.
- Edward (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Matthew (10/5): - The staff is very willing to help guests. Clean and quiet.
- Mike (10/5): - We would stay there again.
- David (8/5): - All was fine, we checked in and slept. Breakfast was super simple, but was available. My only issue was the complete lack of hot water and the complete lack of communication about the lack of hot water. When I inquired, I was told the hot water "takes a while" to get going, and when I inquired how long that was, she said it would be about 30 minutes. So, for 30 minutes, I would have to run water (wasting it) before maybe getting the hot water. They need to figure out a better solution. Other than that, it was fine, safe and clean
- Brigit (10/5): nice place to stay. - Our stay was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. We were there for 4 nights while moving our daughter into her college dorm at CNCC.
- Karen (10/5): - A great place to stay.
- Linda (10/5): - Comfortable bed, really nice staff,
- Jacob (10/5): - Y
- melody (10/5): - Lovely quiet place to stay after a long day of driving.
- Steven (8/5): - Clean, comfortable, good breakfast
- Andrea (8/5): - The property was in good condition and conveniently located.
- mark (6/5): road trip - great hotel..clean, friendly staff, great breakfast..
however, the bed was like sleeping on a board, uncomfortable, pillows were flat.
room was great, just a bad bed
- Evelyn (10/5): - Very nice hotel in small town. Unfortunately, swimming pool was out of order. Everything else was very nice. Convenient bar and restaurant next door with good food.
- John (6/5): - Nice bed, clean and safe with ample parking. Pool was out of service and breakfast was poor.
- Lauri (10/5): - Clean rooms. Friendly service
- Robert (10/5): - Short staffed for breakfast. One person running front end/desk and taking care of breakfast set up and refilling stuff is inadequate, even ppl n a Tuesday... Great facility though!
- Regina (10/5): - This was a great place to stay near Dinosaur National Monument. The place was clean and the staff were very helpful.
- dan (10/5): One of the best - Very nice place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again if I were passing through.
- Kathleen (10/5): - We've stayed at the Blue Mountain Inn several times while traveling through northwest Colorado. The check-in is easy, rooms are large, beds are comfortable, internet is fine and everything is well kept. A very enjoyable stay.
- Jessica (10/5): - As of Labor Day weekend, the pool was still inoperable. They stated they are having problems getting someone to work on it. This was a huge letdown to our children who were eager to go swimming. The price for the hotel was extremely cheap and the breakfast served its purpose.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Well maintained and clean hotel, friendly staff, pretty good breakfast.
- Becky (10/5): Great - It was very nice
- ANAND (10/5): - Comfortable beds, clean rooms, very large bathroom counter, and good coffee and frozen breakfast.
- Jami (10/5): - Nice property with good room size.
- Mark (10/5): Very satisfied! - This hotel was so nice and clean! The staff was so nice too!!!
- Lara (10/5): - Staff were wonderful! Clean and great location!
- Malinda (10/5): - Very clean, comfortable accommodation
- Karen (10/5): - Just a stop over traveling through Colorado but would stay here again.
- JoAnne (8/5): - Staff was very friendly. Room was acceptable.
- Jed (10/5): - Thanks!!
- Sheri (6/5): - Would’ve been really nice if the pool worked and the hot tub. Both were out of order.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A bargain.
- Cody (10/5): - Definitely the best option in the area
- Alfred (8/5): - Clean, comfortable room. Hotel is date but is in good condition. Cell service in the area is limited at best , forget 5G availabilty. We had zero cell service during our stay and a couple we met only had a single bar of 4G. The town itself has very limited but adequate dining options.
- Wayne (10/5): - Great stay thanks
- Marilyn (10/5): Great stay - Super clean and room is very spacious and comfortable. Location is excellent
- Stacy (10/5): - It was a nice comfortable hotel with good continental breakfast options. Several dining options nearby and a short drive to Dinosaur.
- Jeffery (8/5): - Room smelled moldy. I have asthma and had problems.
- James (10/5): - Best in town, and close to a great car museum.
- Martha (10/5): Lost trust in hotels.com. - You failed to tell the Inn I had a boy in a wheelchair. We were out on the 2nd floor and no elevator. They were booked. No options. An elderly man and his wife vacated their room and exchanged theirs with ours, though they already showered and the wife had gone to bed. We would have been on the street without this Good Samaritan. Also, your info said Rangely was 87 miles from our route but was 124 miles. Made for serious problems for us.
- Judy (8/5): - Rangeley is a very small town. The hotel is very adequate for the area kept very clean. Beds are pretty comfortable, except for the pillows and stuff is really friendly.
- Jay (8/5): Nice place. - It was very nice.
- Darrin (8/5): - Stuff Great
- Jason (6/5): - It is what it is. It's basically the only game in the town. The staff was friendly.
- Melony (10/5): - It is a nice place for the small town it is in.
- David (10/5): - Wonderful staff.
- Patricia (10/5): - The service , room , breakfast , staff was exceptional
Will def return
Highly recommend
- Christine A (10/5): - A bulb was out in the desk lamp, the TV sound was muddle. I liked the TV station card readily available. The breakfast had breakfast burritos and muffins to microwave as well as waffles, cereal, etc.
- Jeannette (8/5): - Good
- Geralyn (10/5): - The suite was very large. Our only disappointment was that it was next to the mechanical room so it was not quiet. The breakfast was great. There was plenty of coffee for the room which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk clerk was okay, but the desk wasn’t staffed at night. Bathroom amenities were plentiful. Except for the mechanical room next to a suite, it was excellent and we would stay again.
- James (8/5): - to bad the town doesn't have many places to eat. not hotels fault.
- Brad (2/5): - They called and said my card was declined??? So I did go !!
- Kimberly (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Blue Mountain Inn… We were in town for a OHB rally, and there was plenty of parking for us. It was conveniently located across the street from the Expo building and the staff was incredibly nice and the rooms were really clean. We have absolutely no complaints at all and will be back again next year.
- robert (4/5): - No employees on premises.
Restaurant and hot tub closed.
Don’t lose your key!!
- Heather (10/5): Would recommend! - What a lovely hotel. The highlight absolutely has to be the employees. We travel a lot following our son while he plays baseball and we’ve experienced lots of different types of “service and cleanliness”. Apparently there’s a bit of confusion on what those things mean. The folks that work at this hotel are ALL so kind, service minded, welcoming, people we’ve encountered. The room was clean, furniture and carpet are dated but in perfect condition. The bed was comfortable, but let’s talk about their sheets! These sheets were so soft! SOOOOO soft! Great stay!
- steven (10/5): - Had a very nice stay
