Craig (10/5): Being close to Peninsula State Park was a plus and there is a golf course just north a few minutes. - The room was simple with basic needs. The bed mattress was excellent. The TV, Microwave, and small fridge was enough as we are on the go people. The grounds had a nice gathering room with wood burning fireplace, ping pong table, books, and games. There was also an outside fire pit with a beautiful property layout and landscaping. We didn't need them but they also have bicycles. My favorite amenity was meeting the owner at the check in window every morning. He had coffee and snacks and excellent morning conversation. Loved the place. It was all great.

Raquel (8/5): A clean bed, bathroom, and well maintained grounds. - Cute little motel with a beautiful “gathering room” Friendly, clean, cozy. Nothing fancy. Your basic motel close to Fish Creek. A far distance away from restaurants (not within walking distance) parking was very tight.

I didn't like the fact that we had trouble with connecting to the WiFi, even after I found the password, we used it and didn't work.no one called me back.We did get fresh sheets either.And the pool was closed at the end of August. Bees outside by the plants couldn't enjoy sitting out side.

Joel (6/5): - Servicable option if you're looking for a cheap place to stay, but be warned that it's a very loud experience. The room had a very loud wall AC unit and also a dehumidifier that ran the whole time. It's right be the highway so turning it off and opening windows wasn't great either. Bring earplugs!
thomas (2/5): Awful stop - This was by far the worst stay we have ever had. In spite of the scant picture (don't use the pool), the place was 65 years out of date. The rooms are terribly small (think roadside motel in the 1950's) the beds are uncomfortable, sheets gray, "blanket" nothing more than a gray piece of cloth and the only TV available was ROKU. ROKU? please. In spite of the label stating no dogs, two old people checked in two doors down from us with a DOG, which she said didn't bark (not true) and they then proceeded to feed it right out in public space. The "refrigerator" was hardly useable and the chairs were 1950 style (before comfort) and one was unsafe to sit in. There are no sofas in the rooms as pictured. Overall, the place was terrible. No one should pay to stay there, ever. Shame on the owners/managers for charging vacationeers to stay there.

The entire property is charming and offers things from bikes to maps to help you explore the surrounding area. the shower is a tad small, but it really wasn’t a problem.

The landscaping was beautiful, and the coffee was good. The location was good as well. Close to two of the towns. My only complaint was the Roku TV did not work well. We could not watch anything the last night we were there, and had come back early with it being cold. We were hoping to watch a movie and weren't able to watch anything.

Travis (8/5): - Quiet for the most part. I wouldn’t say it’s a “resort, more a motel. Some bugs in our room but nothing crazy. Easy checkin and check out. Parking is a tad awkward but there isn’t alot of space to change it. Location is great. Bathroom could use a full curtain. We enjoyed our stay.
Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable but needs maintenance - The room was clean but very outdated. The AC unit is old & really couldn't keep up with the hot day. There was a dehumidifier in the room which was needed but also produced a ton of hot air blowing in the room. The freezer worked but the refrigerator was more like a cooler. Almost everything in the room, furniture etc has seen better days. The shower water temp went from freezing cold to boiling hot with no warning & no adjustment.
Ben (10/5): - I called at 3:40 to let the staff know we were running late. The woman who answered (I’m sorry I forgot to ask your name!) removed all of the day’s stress by being so sweet and pleasant and making it no big deal that we were behind schedule! We pulled up around 6:30pm, to find our room ready and waiting for us! The rooms are as stairs as cleanliness being a major point of pride, but let me tell you it FELT clean! The next day I ran into one of the housekeeping staff (I believe her name was Janice and am sorry if I got it wrong) who was equally sweet! She took the time to give me a brief tour of the property as well as show me the bulletin board with all of the local events as well as her personal recommendations! She was very personable and accommodating, first asking if our room needed anything! During the tour, I found the property to be comfortable and feeling kind of “lived in”, but simultaneously modern, clean and well-kept! It’s impressive to balance a feeling of homey comfort while keeping things clean, orderly and well-maintained! We received clean towels every morning, enjoyed being able to log in to our favorite streaming channels and the water pressure in the bathroom was perfect (no weak streams or cold temperatures)! Checking out was just as easy checking in! I’m sorry I didn’t catch this woman’s name again but she was so sweet in chatting for a minute, thanking me for staying even through we hadn’t had a chance to chat before this, and nearly insisting I take

Purcell (8/5): Lovely place to stay. Not a lot of “frills” but comfortable beds, clean rooms, free bike rentals, free delicious coffee. - Good location. Loved that it includes bike rental and the bikes are in good condition. The person who checked us in and helped with the bikes was friendly and helpful. We biked into Fish Creek and into Peninsula State Park. Both very doable. The free organic coffee and real organic half and half was excellent. The room was very clean and smelled clean. Smelled like they used vinegar based cleaners instead of nasty chemicals which I was happy with. The place is retro and feels like you are in the 50s! The humidifier running in the room was loud. There was a mildew smell when we ran the water. I loved that parking is right by the front door of your unit but also the space is awkward. But once we got the hang of it it wasn’t a big deal. The pool was closed so that was a bummer but Nicolet Bay is practically across the street.

Verified traveler (8/5): Small motel - It is right off of Hwy 42 with a very small parking area. The room was clean, just very small. The office setup was confusing to find someone because when you drive into the little lot and there wasn't any signage. I went in through one door that said office but once in walked in there was nothing stating which door. The location was nice because it's on the north end of Fish Creek and close to Ephraim. Overall I probably would not stay there again.

Roxanne (10/5): Cozy! Will stay again. - Very cozy cabin-style accomodations. We had the "Anniversary Suite" which is the house on the property. The place was clean and comfortable, and right in the center of Door County with easy access to several of the towns. The owners were also very friendly and caring about their property. Will definitely stay again.

Kathryn (10/5): - Peninsula Park View is a taste of the "old Door County" that I remember from growing up. Our sweet proprietors focused on service, cleanliness and making sure we were fully comfortable. Our room was charming, quiet, and the beds were comfy. Wisconsin hospitality at it's finest!

We could have saved money on a pet sitter and our dog would have loved it. The drive-n was very close and we had a fun evening there.

Deanna (5/5): I would PASS on this place... - The location from the state park was great. The motel room was dated but clean. They are not very accommodating to the customers... the guests accommodate them. For example, they only serve coffee from 8-10am. We were early risers so they offered a coffee pot for the room. They did provide a coffee pot and filters but as a guest you have to buy your own coffee at a grocery store in town. Also, there was only a small window for check in (3:30-5pm) and a short window to check out bikes (8:30-10am) We were not able to use them because we did not want to wait for the office to open, and we were not back by 10am. Also, bikes were to be back by 5pm. Trash and recycling was to be removed by the guests and brought to the dumpster, although directions were not clear where to find the dumpster. The staff was friendly enough but I did not expect to be serving their schedules/needs. Other guests were also unpleasantly surprised by the misleading information...coffee, free bike rental (sounds great until you get there and see the fine print). The shower had great water pressure but was too small to shave my legs! The room had a funky smell and it was right next to a busy road so we ran the air conditioner non-stop. There was a cable problem so TV was hard to access. They couldn't really explain what we should do since their cable was cut other than suggest that we try to figure out You Tube TV. I didn't expect to be pampered, but found this experience to be a big disappointment.
Richard (6/5): Very basic place to sleep - We basically just slept here for 3nights. We left every morning before coffee was served at 8 am and returned in the evening. Did not take advantage of the swimming pool or any other facilities.
Grace (6/5): - Initially was looking for a B&B.. turns out they didn’t have breakfast, only coffee. Which is fine. Pool was SO cold. They don’t have pool towels. And resort is right off 42, so quite noisy. Bathroom is small in room 3, with a small stand up shower, maybe 4x4. For the area, this place is not worth the price. Just wouldn’t go back.

PETERINE (2/5): - The shower was as small as showering in a casket. The room was not cleaned during my stay. It took 2 days to get new towels despite putting the wet towels in the bucket outside. The fridge in the room froze my soda, lunch meat and salads. The toilet was too close to the wall. I had to empty the dehumidifier every day and it spilled all over the floor every time. NOT A GOOD VALUE
Dan (10/5): We have visited Peninsula Park View on several special occasions, we plan to return. - The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked questions. The resort is conveniently located just off the main highway, but just far enough away to minimize normal vehicle traffic. Nothing comes to mind.

Perfectly appointed. Property was immaculate. Looked like a Park! The owner, wife and all of the staff went out of their way to make our stay something special. We will be back soon!!
