Margaret (6/5): Phoenix House, B&B - Host and hostess were nice . Food was great. Each room has its own bathroom but the bathroom is not necessarily in the same room as the bed. The room that we were in - Rose room had a door that stuck so when my husband got up a number of times in the night, I hesitated to close the door tightly because I did not want to disturb other guests. Therefore, I did not feel that I had security I mentioned this to the host but frankly he should have been aware of it and fixed it before we got there.

The owners are such nice people and put so much love and pride in what they do. Very cozy rooms. Spotless. And nicest breakfast ever. It felt just like staying at grandma‘s. After some traveling and staying at different hotels it was nice to come back to a real home. We also appreciated how welcoming and relaxed they were with regards to children. Everything was really great.

The hosts thought of every comfort for our room; movies to watch, books to read, wine glasses and opener, and a chocolate on our pillow. The breakfast was outstanding enjoyed around a dining table with other travelers. Great food, good conversation and a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
