• Renatomello (9/5): - Beleza do lugar, praia privativa, linda piscina, limpeza, excelente Café da Manhã e a grande conveniência de não precisar sair do hotel, pois o bar e o Restaurante funcionam todos os dias. O funcionário Massimo, do Restaurante, carece de simpatia, o que é fundamental para atendimento ao público. Os demais funcionários, Domenico, Salvatore, Daniel e Vicenzo são extremamente corteses sem perderem a eficiência.
• Rachel (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay - Rooms were clean and comfortable. Quiet at night. Gardens are so perfectly landscaped. Sea front is stunning with plenty of lounge chairs. Pool looked very inviting but it was mostly too cold in May to swim. Breakfast was a lovely spread including gluten free bread and croissants upon request. Only had lunch there once but it was nice and ingredients were fresh. Staff were so very friendly and just so happy to help. Drinks with sunset would have to be the highlight. While this isn’t a dislike but a heads up that without a car you’ll need to pay for a shuttle to get to and from the hotel to the main town. Though there is a train about 20 min walk away so if you’re active you could do that. Theres also a lovely restaurant with a view about 30 mins walk away too.
• Wruck (10/5): Fast wie in der Karibik - Hier hat alles gepasst. Anreise easy, Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer klein aber mit Balkon mit Blick auf Strand und Stromboli. Pool und Meer waren für Ende April zum Baden ideal. Gute Anbindung an umliegende Sehenswürdigkeiten.Tolle Ausstattung am Strand und wirklich alles sehr gepflegt. Werden garantiert wieder herkommen. Danke an die dort beschäftigten Menschen! Dass dieser Urlaub hier zu Ende ging.

A beautiful location with stunning beach and amazing pool. It was spacious and felt v private and relaxing despite being a resort. The gardens were immaculate, it felt like being in the Caribbean. Great value for money, especially compared to Sorrento where we’d been before travelling south. A special mention to you waiter Mimmo who looked after us every evening, sharing personal recommendations which didn’t disappoint. A wonderful relaxing 3 days for my husband and three daughters. Thank you.

Excellent restaurant and incredible - We had the most wonderful stay at Il Gabbiano Resort in Capo Vaticano. The property is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and perfectly maintained. It’s a charming beachfront resort with pristine waters and a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant is excellent, and the food was consistently fresh and delicious. A special thank you to Mimmo (Domenico), who took amazing care of us all week. Every single staff member — from the cleaning ladies to reception, bar staff, lifeguards, and waiters — went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The resort is small and quaint, which made it perfect for our family. Our young children felt free and safe to explore, and they made friends to play with all week. The pool is gorgeous, overlooking Stromboli and offering stunning sunsets every evening. We can’t wait to return for our 3rd time — this place truly feels like a little slice of paradise.

Das Essen ist preisgünstig. es lohnt sich also nicht, Halbpension zu buchen. Der Preis des Hotel war hoch.

Would go back without any hesitation. Ideal for getting some rest. Nothing. A car is useful though, although you can walk to a supermarket and the hotel organizes a shuttle to Tropea.

Tutto perfetto, dall' accoglienza e accompagnamento del personale della reception, molto competente e gentile (menzione d'onore per Gianni e Chiara) alla stanza grande, pulita e molto ben arredata, al comodo materasso, agli spazi verdi, alla piscina. Merita la fama acquisita nel tempo e un ritorno nel futuro prossimo.

Nothing to do or now adult type of entertainment on the grounds or in the area. Not the fault of the hotel as we booked through our travel agency that we regularly use in Canada.

Tx you - This was a family and friend trip of 35 people from ages 13 to 73 to gather for a 50th Birthday celebration and we choose Gabbiano because they were accommodating, responsive and always accessible from the planning stages up until the day we left. We travelled from Canada and stayed one week and no one was ready to leave when the week was up. The service, the food (the variety and quality was excellent) and the location itself did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. It is a family feel community. We thank you for making this long awaited trip our most memorable.

We found that there was no air conditioners in bathrooms near the bar and none in the bathroom in our room. Also it would have been very convenient to have an iron and ironing boarding in our room or at least have one available to us as needed. I realize the resort has a laundry/ironing service but guests don’t know in advance what they feel like wearing after a day at the beach.

• Ferdinando (8/5): vacanze in Calabria - Struttura in una location molto bella, non il solito villaggio che può in alcuni casi far fastidio ma bensì un posto in cui tutto è basato sulla location, di fatto attaccata al mare. Pertanto se cerchi una vacanza in un bel posto per stare tranquillo e avere tutto a portata di mano e perfetto. Cucina non troppo tipica di potrebbe fare molto di meglio soprattutto aggiungendo più sapori locali. Personale della reception be siamo rimasti un po’ colpiti potrebbero fare un po’ di meglio un po’ più attenzione al cliente. In ogni caso consigliamo la struttura

Die Tage für uns waren ein Genuss, die wir gerne mit einem guten Glas Wein am Strand ausklingen lassen haben. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Service und Zimmer sind top. Empfehlen können wir zudem den Hoteleigenen Shuttle-Service nach Tropea, um dort ohne Stress einen Tag zu genießen.

• Daniela (10/5): Wunderschöne Anlage direkt am Strand - Wir waren für eine Woche in dieser Anlage und unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Alles ist sehr gepflegt, schön gemacht und die Angestellten sind auch freundlich. Die Lage ist nicht zu übertreffen. Der Pool der sowohl vom Strand als auch von der Anlage aus genutzt werden kann und die schöne Hanglage. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass der Vulkan Stromboli, der bei günstigen Wetterverhältnissen sichtbar ist, das Wetter postitv beeinflusst.
