Hotel was really pretty from the outside. We only stayed one night and left early morning so did not have breakfast and did not have chance to appreciate the lovely outside benches or really take advantage of the central location.

- NORHA (8/5): Bel hôtel de centre-ville - C'est 1 joli hôtel a proximité du centre-ville de Paramaribo. C'est 1 petit hotel de charme dont l'extérieur est en bois. Le personnel est agréable et serviable. Ma chambre était lumineuse et agréable malgré la vue sur la rue. Il est situé à 5 mn à pied de la Cathédrale et à 10mn du palais présidentiel, a 5mn de burger king C'est 1 vieux bâtiment donc il n'y a pas d'ascenseur. Et la porte d'entrée n'est pas au rez-de-chaussée,.

Het hotel is praktisch, maar wel verouderd. Dit zie je vooral bij het sanitair wat niet meer echt schoon en hier en daar zelfs kapot is.

This was a great base for us to discover Suriname - we also went with their recommended place in the Amazon. It is a bit run down (a little renovation here and there could really help), but we felt comfortable overall, especially with the hotel’s team. Wi-Fi was great, their laundry service was great and at a good price too, and it’s got a good location. Easily recommended to other travelers :)

- Irma (10/5): Heel fijn, zeker als je langer wilt verblijven, voelt als familiebedrijf. - De locatie is fantastisch, je loopt zo naar het centrum van Paramaribo. Heel mooi pand, leuke kamers. Kleinschalig en persoonlijk snel contact met andere hotelgasten. Ontzettend fijn en servicegericht personeel. Na 3 jaar werd ik nog herkend, echt super! Ga graag terug. Het is jammer dat ze geen zwembad en geen lift hebben, maar dat is bijna onmogelijk op deze locatie. Op de bovenste verdieping wordt gewerkt aan een leuke buitenruimte.

- Rijken (8/5): Een aanrader in hartje Paramaribo - Hotel Palacio is een keurig stadshotel waar je voor een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding kunt verblijven. In tegenstelling tot Torarica heeft het zijn eigen eigenheid. Het personeel is als familie en behandelt alle gasten op maat. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig doch voedzaam, maar verschilt ook dagelijks. Koffie is goed. Kortom: een aanrader in hartje Paramaribo. Op de tweede dag van mijn verblijf waren ze vergeten mijn kamer schoon te maken. Het was al in de avond en de houskeeping was reeds naar huis, maar wel kreeg ik schone handdoeken.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, especially Rochelle. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to be helpful. Rochelle truly knows hospitality (!!), but the entire staff was amazing. This is definitely THE place to stay in downtown Paramaribo.

Próximo ao burger king e McDonald’s . Há um supermercado chamado Happy . Staff atencioso, Sra Rochelle deu todas as informações inclusive táxi para o aeroporto por 50 dólares americanos. Preço de táxi muito caro, do aeroporto ao hotel . Shuttel mesmo preço.

- Pavel (10/5): Excellent hotel in downtown Paramaribo - Location is absolutely perfect, you’ll be in the most beautiful part of the town within a short walking distance to all key attractions and restaurants / bars. Rooms are very clean & staff are friendly. Highly recommending!

- Britta (10/5): Fantastisk kvinde i receptionen - Et stort værelse med vinduer til to sider, god seng. Morgenmaden var kontinental. Beliggenheden var er godt sted midt i centrum. Den ene medarbejder i receptionen havde kontakter i lufthavnen og sørgede egenhændigt for at jeg erhvervede min kuffert tilbage fra KLM inden, jeg rejste igen. Jeg glemte desværre at give hende drikkepenge. Restauranten serverer kun morgenmad i øjeblikket, men de sælger sandwich og drikkevarer i receptionen.
- Creeping_Death_LA (8/5): Historic neighborhood gem - If you love staying in the historic parts of a city then this is the place for you. Our triple bedded room was very spacious and so was the bathroom. Big television and excellent working air conditioner. The only negatives were no safe in room, expensive breakfast, expensive coffee too.

- carloskaranr (6/5): Comfortable Stay - I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The bed was nice and cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom had both hot and cold water with no issues. Wi-Fi was stable throughout my stay, which was a big plus. Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at the reception, and there are nearby supermarkets for any other essentials. While there's no microwave in the room, the staff is happy to heat up food for you. I also appreciated the coffee maker and fridge in the room. The hotel could benefit from a bit of an update, particularly with the lighting, as the current setup could use more modern, white lighting. Breakfast is the only meal served on-site, but the staff, including Rochelle, Arielle, Shananka, and Shermeley, were all incredibly kind and helpful, assisting with everything from ordering dinner to arranging a registered taxi and guiding you when needed. Great team. Their excellent service truly made the stay memorable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable experience!

- LeoLHR (8/5): Customer services could have been better - I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the pre-arrival customer service was abysmal. They reminded me that I had to tell them if I would arrive after 11 pm or they would forfeit the reservation. I have sent them the information but they never confirmed that. I have also asked if they could arrange an airport transfer, but there has been no response. Other than that, the stay was good. The property is well maintained. It was clean and they provide decent room facilities. I love the design of the hotel front. It is located in the historic area of the city so it blends well with the surroundings. It's also close to the main places of interest in Paramaribo. I would still recommend this place as long as you are fine with non-existent communication from the hotel.
- Riccardo (4/5): Extremely disappointing stay - Extremely disappointed. The bed was collapsing on one side and was extremely uncomfortable. When brought to the attention of the reception, they said "must be the mattress" and left. The toilet ceiling was broken, shower extremely old and fridge not even plugged in. On the second day they didn't even come to service the room. The AC is extremely noisy as it's really old. The only plus side is the location right in the centre.
