From the moment we arrived our host made us feel right at home with warm hospitality and helpful tips for exploring the area . Every evening there was complimentary beer and wine and non alcoholic drinks with snacks and a specialty dip . To top it off there was a complimentary decadent dessert . The breakfast was fabulous , there was a continental breakfast as well as a gourmet hot breakfast choice . The room was spacious , cozy and immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable .We had a private deck and enjoyed the afternoon sun . The location was perfect and walking distance to so many attractions . We even received complimentary tickets to the St Augustine Lighthouse . Highly Recommend

The property is in a great location, and they provide so many nice features and extras that it really made for a wonderful experience. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, you are given a nice, freshly baked dessert item to welcome you. They have a sort of meet-and-greet happy hour each day, where they serve some drinks and hors d'ourves, and you can mingle with the other guests. We actually enjoyed talking to some of the other people there. Our room was lovely and nicely furnished. Some of the rooms have a balcony (ours happened to) and they were cool about letting me smoke a cigar out there, as long as I did not smoke in the actual room. Breakfast the next morning was great. They do a rotating menu for breakfast, so that you don't eat the same thing over and over if you stay there for multiple days. We really felt welcomed here, and we regretted that our schedule, and the availability of rooms, only permitted us a single night here. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

The staff were warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. The location is excellent, you are close to everything but far enough to be a serene stay. One of the highlights was sitting down to breakfast with other guests — it was such a unique and enjoyable way to start the day. Hearing everyone’s stories and sharing experiences added a personal touch that made the stay even more memorable. I highly recommend Casa de Sueños to anyone looking for something a bit more special than a standard hotel.

- DavidW43 (8/5): Always a great experience, but one big OUCH - We've loved this B&B for years. Great staff, solid breakfast, excellent location. Our rooms have always been more than comfortable. But there is one problem: from our previous visit, I'd forgotten that the bed frames extend beyond the actual bed, and in a narrow passage netween credenza and bed, when bedding hides the frame, one can bang a shin very painfully into the frame edge. I did this four yrs ago and, infortunately, forgot about it. This time, in a different room, the same thing happened. My bone bruise lasted for six weeks. Other than that, I have nothing but rave reviews to offer for this property and its sister property.

Casa de Suenos is everything I could have imagined and more! The Inn Keepers are wonderful! They are very nice and accommodating. Our room was awesome as well. Very cozy and clean! We had our own balcony, and a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom. All the special touches make this a place I cannot wait to come back to! The nightly desserts are amazing. I'm so sad we somehow left our cherry cheesecake brownies behind. I did get a taste though and they are delicious. My husband planned the whole trip and I am excited to go back. Walking distance to lots of sites and things to explore!! If you go to St. Augustine, the Casa de Suenos is the place to stay!!

The special touches in the entire bed and breakfast were wonderful, from the nightly dessert to take back to our room, the available sherry in our room, coffee and water always available, umbrellas at the door and a fabulous breakfast. The room was clean and loved the HOT whirlpool bathtub and shower. The mattress was a bit soft, but that was ok for the night.

- Susan (10/5): 5 Stars! - The B&B is a beautiful place. It’s perfectly situated, within comfortable walking distance of the historic district, the marina, and many attractions. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff is stellar. We enjoyed meeting Patrick and Ester, and Amy made tasty breakfasts and gave us good tips for things to see and experience. The extras provided (desserts, complimentary sherry, Happy Hour) made it a singular experience. We’ll put this B&B on our list of places we want to revisit.

- Rick8469 (10/5): House of Dreams and it is indeed ! - I'll start with Chef Amy, the Inn keeper has such a big, friendly and fun personality, very accommodating. Case de Suenos leaves nothing behind, very thoughtful touches in the rooms and amenities also has a really good value for the money. Each breakfast we had was delicious and shout out to Tina too at breakfast on our last day. Apologies, met another staff member she was great, did not get her name. We stayed in the Cordova room and loved the balcony . Complimentary happy hour, water, K-cups, snacks, and dessert treats with our names on the boxes so thoughtful. We brought our own bicycles and had a good parking spot to secure them. the Inn is beautiful and the whirlpool and decor wife loved very special. Thank you Amy for the recommendations. Great first visit to St Augustine and will be back, normally we don't visit same place but would since can't imagine it would be better anywhere else in St Augustine.

The bed was very comfortable. The nightly desserts were delicious. The Inn is located in an optimal location, walking distance to every thing. You can tell they take pride in taking care of their Inn and customers.

Wonderful historic building, small number of rooms, quiet, on-site parking, happy hour drinks and snacks, a real breakfast, dessert each eve, passes to attractions, bicycles, inn keeper always there to help.
- George (10/5): - Our stay at Casa de Suenos was great. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and the king size bed comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with large walk in shower. The location was perfect, other than having to use the car to visit the beach area we walked every where averaging about 6 miles a day. Breakfast every morning was freshly prepared. Coffee and tea station open 24 hours. Highly recommend Casa de Suenos.

Next time I’ll pick up a second floor room, because mine was on aisle close to the dining room, so a little noise. And the blinds didn’t cover well the windows, so was bright early.

- LOVESEAFOOD3 (10/5): Excellent Place to Stay - My husband and I went there to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a quaint and special place!! We had an amazing time! It is so very clean! The room was perfectly set up and the hospitality and food they offered us for breakfast was excellent! My husband was a little hesitant, not liking the idea of a B&B now he is requesting that I make a reservation for our next year anniversary celebration! We parked our vehicle and walked the whole time we were there. Very quiet but yet close to St. George Street and very good restaurants, all in walking distance. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We highly recommend staying at this authentic, hospitable and clean B & B!
- mikebU5717LB (10/5): A great place to stay - Robin and Retta were friendly and made my wife and I feel like family to them. We enjoyed their company for the days we were there. They gave us good advice regarding our tour of the city. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable, and the Casa was quiet and restful at night. She claimed the stove was broken so instead of the Frittata that was suppose to be served we got scrambled eggs. She claimed the oven was broken. Our room was never services even though we checked the box that asked if we'd like housekeeping upon check in. I had to take out the trash and ask for more towels after returning back from a long day of walking around town. My husband who's an engineer had to fix the bathroom sink that wouldn't drain properly and relight the hot water tank because we had no hot water the second night. Definitely was not worth the over $300 a night that we paid and sadly probably wont be back for fear of this happening again.

- joanne (6/5): - This bed and breakfast was not up to standards. The staff was ill trained and unable to answer basic questions about the area. The breakfast was awful..store bought heated bun was suppose to be French toast, pumpkin pancakes inedible, fruit loops as cereal, eggs came out of a bottle..yuck! And, on the last day breakfast offerings were not put out by staff because why bother for only four guests. Upon check in, a form was given to sign…watch out since your housekeeping service was signed away. The rooms were basically clean but bedside table lamps were caked with dust. The front door was kept locked and a key given to enter the premises. Only a few lights were on in the evening so you entered into a dark vestibule. A phone number was left to call another inn in case of an emergency. I’m presuming that the other inn offered services. The area is very noisy at night so sleep time is shorts, This inn does not give charm or southern hospitality! Therefore, I would not recommend this inn.

- JON745 (10/5): Perfect B & B - my wife and I stayed here for the 2nd time, and it was as excellent as we remembered. It is a great location, about 10 minutes walk to most laces in historic St. Augustine. It is a lovely building in excellent condition, and parking is free in a lot adjacent to the building. We stayed again in the Nieves room, which has a separate entrance into the parking lot. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There is a free Happy Hour each day at 5 PM with beer and wine. The breakfast is fabulous, with daily specials along with coffee, juices, yogurt, and milk. The specials are hearty fare, e.g. stuffed French toast, home fries with sausage, and homemade oatmeal with brown sugar & pecans. You can make a full meal out of breakfast and almost skip lunch. We come to st. Augustine every few years, and we always stay here. It has never disappointed us.

- tobydog1234 (8/5): Great location and good B&B - It's a difficult place to review as we had two rooms and each left us with slightly different experiences. We were from the UK doing a US road trip and this was one of the last stops on our route. We only spent one night and didn't have time for the full breakfast so can't give top marks but what we had was good. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful so certainly nothing to complain about. Our daughter's room was good and she had no problems but we had the room with the jacuzzi in which was a bit more problematic. Everything needs an update, it's getting a bit tired. It was clean and tidy but not very practical. There was no where really to put cases because the jacuzzi dominated and one side of the bed did not have a bed side table. Extremely well placed for exploring St Augustine and we had a great time during our short stay.

- patriciavE3710HB (8/5): Happy couple - We truly enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. Location was great and so was the breakfast, assortment of snacks and delicious baked goods they extend to their guests. One of my personal highlights was the sherry decanter set provided in the room that we were able to take advantage of and enjoy on our first night there.
- Megan (6/5): Ok Stay - Good things first - Cute historical inn, parking on site is great. The Cons - We were in the Saragossa room which is right in between the front door and the kitchen/dining area. Very loud in the room from the Inn traffic not exterior noise. Early every morning you’d hear plates clanking and things getting slammed around and people talking. Not the most peaceful stay. The room doors were a set of double doors but only one side opened and it was maybe a foot wide so getting luggage in and out was hilarious and not in a fun way. Speaking of luggage there is no assistance with luggage getting it up flights of interior or exterior stairs. The whole Inn is locked at all times which is great but coming and going can be hard. Also everyone having the same key for the front door and your room door doesn’t make sense security wise. There was one very small dresser to place things on but no other flat surface. It just appeared overall very little is put back into this property. They mean well but I wouldn’t stay here again.
