Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): Jederzeit wieder - Tolles und sehr liebevoll vorbereitetes Frühstücksbuffet
- Wong (6/5): 位置差 - 地點位置太差,拿著行李絕對不建議。算整潔。
- MINTE (6/5): - 整體來說地理位置相當優越 ,房間老舊,清潔度尚可,早餐很簡單。
- James (10/5): - Smallish Penzion in Cesky Krumlov; not the most comfortable bed I've slept in, but staff was friendly, room/lobby was clean, pretty central to the main part of the old town.
- Karel (8/5): Doporučuji Pension Na Kovárně - Návštěva přátel. Ideální ubytování, poměr cena/výkon.
- Mina (10/5): - I have to say that out of all of the places I have stayed in Europe, Pension Na Kovárně is definitely one of the best. The room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was great and filling. Bathroom was in tip top shape and the bed was comfortable. Thank you so much for a great time!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): The hotel was good except reception - The hotel was good on location, room cleanliness, atmosphere, except reception.
- Andrey (10/5): Good hotel in a perfect location - For us it was the perfect location as we came by bus and this hotel is very close to the bus station and to the market square. The hotel is in the quite place, good breakfast, very friendly owners.
- Mickey (6/5): Overpriced low cost B&B - Maybe some room photos look nice, but we were in the attic with minimum space, battered beds and a bathroom where you have to duck or bend if you need toilet. The carpet was the ugly office type grey. The wifi didn't work in the attic. There is no place to sit down if you don't want to wait for bus in your room.
We were overcharged on currency rate too. Breakfast was good. I would expect this type of place for half a price especially at the end of season. As we walked through town we saw better places for same price.
- Ronni (8/5): Nice sized room. Not much service - Very large room and good sized bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet. We arrived at 8pm and found the Pension locked and no owner around. our shuttle driver tried to call the hotel. Finally a lady from a shop across the street came over and tried to help (I'm not sure if the shop is owned by the same people). She was able to get the owner and there were keys for us in a lockbox.
A little unsettling. No one around most of the time, but we found her at another store so we could store our luggage after breakfast.
- Janie (8/5): Good location and spacious room - There wasn't an elevator or hairdryer. Other than that everything was fine. Breakfast was average. Spacious room. Good location. Nothing fancy but certainly adequate.
- Robert (6/5): Great -- Just Not in Summer - We were given the attic room even though they were advertising other vacancies. That would have been fine, except the wifi did not reach there and also it was sweltering and there was no fan (and of course no AC in Europe). We opened the windows, but that seemed to let in only noise from the drunks outside, not much cool air. Aside from that, our stay was actually quite nice. The location is good, the room was cute and the buffet breakfast was solid (by European standards).
- Jonathan (10/5): Nice hotel between bus station & town center - Pension Na Kovárně is a great place to stay, especially if you're arriving in Cesky Krumlov at the bus station. It's a short walk from the station to the hotel and then another short walk from the hotel into the town center.
As for the hotel itself, check-in was easy and my room was nice, spacious and clean. The bed was good, not great, but no problems sleeping after a fun day of sight seeing this charming town. I was in a rush in the morning, but still took advantage of the free breakfast -- it was similar to most other traditional breakfasts you'll find at European hotels. Overall a great value -- would definitely stay here again.
- JM (6/5): Comfortable room at a good price - This B&B is located at the entrance to the main town centre, which is an easy 10-min walk away. An advantage of this is that you don't have to pull your luggage on the narrow cobbled pathway for too long since the small town of Český Krumlov is not too accessible by cars. Staff is rather curt and not too welcoming, which I'll put down as limited ability to communicate due to language.
- Nabila (6/5): Nice hotel with a good location - It is 5-10 mins walk down a hill from the main bus station. There is a grocery shop behind the hotel which is really convenient to buy foods/snacks. I would prefer if the breakfast served earlier (currently served from 8 am). Overall, it was a nice stay!
- Robert (8/5): Nice friendly pension. - Great location for a visit of CK.
- Lou (8/5): Quaint and rustic pension in medieval CeskyKrumlov - This pension was rustic and medieval. The furniture in the room was basic and also reflected a somewhat medieval decor. All was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. The location was quiet and close to most sights shopping and restaurants in the town. Cesky Krumlov has many tourists and is best seen on foot. The Vltava river runs through it and there are many water based activities available. Very picturesque!
