- Verified traveler (4/5): Worn down flat with terrible service - Ok, the good things:
- Clean

Now for the not so good things:
- The pictures are old, the flat is worn down
- There were no chairs to sit on at the table
- Several lightbulbs were missing
- No Wi-Fi
- The service level was terrible
- The Emergency exit
We booked the flat to be able to cook/heat some food and have meals at home. However, there were no chairs to sit on. (In the picture, there are four chairs).
When we contacted the service number and e-mail (on a twice-daily basis), we got the response that somebody would come and fix the problems, bring some chairs and fix the Wi-Fi. However, for the duration of our five-night stay, nothing happened. We got some e-mails saying that they were doing everything they could to sort it out, but again, no one showed up and fixed the issues.
This place needs to step up on their maintenance to live up to its potential.
Not sure about the emergency exit regulations in Belgium, but to open the emergency exit, you needed to unlock two separate locks with your key in a manner that did not make us feel very safe.
- guillaume (4/5): - Il y a plusieurs unités ne pas vous fier aux photos. L’arrivée a été catastrophique. Les clés n’étaient pas à l’endroit prévu. Support très ordinaire de leur équipe. Il a fallu plus de 2 heures pour trouver une solution. Le wifi et le chauffage n’a jamais fonctionné durant le séjour. L’emplacement est bien par contre.
- Martin (8/5): Nice flats . But the door needs better light - The major is n issue I found was the lack of strong light on the door entry pads they should be upgraded too illumines type .handy too get too but good value for money .

Purtroppo chiedono una cauzione che hanno cercato di addebitare sulla mia carta di credito la quale mi è stata temporaneamente bloccata perché la VISA temeva che si trattasse di frode. Se avessi saputo della cauzione non avrei mai prenotato l'appartamento. Inoltre la comunicazione via whatsapp era lentissima. Per fortuna l'appartamento era caldo e confortevole. IN generale quindi sono stata molto bene.
- Karen (6/5): - La habitación es bonita, pero cuando llegamos nos la encontramos sin limpiar, con la cocina llena de basura que no era nuestra, las toallas y sábanas en el suelo, también sucias y con un radiador que no funcionaba.
No se lo recomendaría a nadie. En general, bastante decepcionante.
- Yuliana (2/5): great potential but need humongous improvments - I really don't like to leave bad reviews but unfortunately on this on I have to. I am a flight crew for a major US airline, so I spend half my life in hotels. I'd like to mention that all the people I interacted with on the phone to solve many issues were really nice and I feel for them because they have to work hard to try to satisfy customers with what they have. First night we arrived and they could not find any reservation for us. We spent two hours on the phone between hotel.com and the property to find a solution. We finally got into the apartment. There was no lights nor electricity in the bathroom..So I took a shower in the dark. Also the state of the bathroom was horrendous...mold around the edges of the bathtub and a humongous level of humidity in the bathroom..and very poorly cleaned..When I called to fix the problem, they advised me that there was no one in the city to fix it and they asked me to check the fuses..didn't work. In the meantime, the (nice) lady on the phone advised me that our reservation was only until the 11th..but I had paid until the 12th. So again..two hours on the phone between Hotels.com and the property to solve it. The property advised me that the apartment had a booking for the eleven so we had to vacate but they gave us another (bigger) unit..so we moved next day...nice apartment but..no toilet paper, the internet didn't work, the bathroom was extremely dirty..Smartflats need to find a manager who knows this business and cleans up the mess
- Sarah (6/5): Moyen - Appartement très bien situé en plein centre ville mais la propreté laisse à désirer et certaines choses sont cassées dans l’appartement. Pour 1 nuit ou 2 c’est convenable mais pas plus. De’ plus, j’ai du joindre 3 fois la réception avant de me fournir les code d’acces... Pour ma part, je n’y retournerai pas.

Pensez à mettre un rideau sur la fenêtre à côté de l’espAce cuisine ! Ça éclaire la chambre et c’est raté si on veut faire grâce mate

- Anneke (8/5): Fijne studio in centrum van Luik - Fijne studio voor paar dagen verblijf. Lekkere matras en goede mogelijkheden om in studio zelf ontbijt en diner te regelen.
- isabel (6/5): In het centrum - Warm en met raam open heb je veel geluidsoverlast. Moeilijke te betreden smalle houten donkere trappen. Voor de rest schoon en erg leuke flat.
- Fred (8/5): - Appartement en plein centre de Liege. Il n'y a pas de reception : il faut récupérer la clé à une autre adresse dans un coffre pour pouvoir ouvrir la porte de la grille. La porte de l'appartement s'ouvre avec un autre code.
Poutres basses dans le salon . Wi fi ne fonctionne pas. Pas de Micro onde.
