In- en uitchecken verliep via self service, maar er was een hulptelefoon voor als je assistentie nodig had (zoals bijv het achterlaten van je koffers vooraf inchecktijd) en deze hulp kwam dan ook snel. Koffers werden in tussentijd naar de kamer gebracht. Vriendelijk personeel. Veel horeca in de ongeving. Prima loopafstand naar de winkels.

Christa (8/5): Prima maar weinig sfeer. - Prima hotel voor een nachtje. Lekker dit bij alle reuring. Dichtbij de Stationsstraat in Wyck. Superleuk. Wel jammer dat er maar even iemand is om te helpen om via de computer zelf in te checken. Niet echt een receptie. Uitchecken niemand gezien.
Remco (6/5): - Locatie was centraal, maar aan een veel te drukke weg. Daardoor heb ik eerste nacht slecht geslapen. De kamers waren erg karig, maar alles was schoon en deed wat het moest doen. Ik zit voor mijn werk redelijk vaak in hotels. En in verhouding was dit hotel erg duur voor wat je krijgt. Het ontbijt (waar je voor moest bijbetalen) was ook heel summier. Geen aanrader wat mij betreft.

Jeannette (8/5): - Hrt inchecken verliepniet zo goed. Ik had 3 kamers besteld en hierdoor ging het zelfstandig inchecken niet goed.. personeel moest komen helpen met aparte incheck nummers. Kamers waren super. Wij moesten wennen aan de zelf incheck.

The rooms however are a bit worn out/they look nicer in the photos but overall they had the stuff you needed. The worst thing was the thin walls and the extremely noisy guests knocking on doors and partying till 5am.

john (6/5): - This is my first experience of a staff free hotel. Check in was straight-forward as was check out. Property was clean and well laid out in a quiet area and convenient for railway and bus. I gave a low rating for staff as we did not see any. I would have given a higher overall rating but for the fact that someone decided to upgrade the televisions in the morning. Have you ever been woken by someone using A F#####G HAMMER DRILL on the other side of your wall? I hope that the laundry is able to get the sheets clean. Overall I was quite happy but the drill experience on my last morning was a severe downer. If there had been a receptionist then they would have got an earful.

Nadine (8/5): - This hotel is fine. Very quiet. Self-serve check-in and bar. They can deliver you a "breakfast in a bag" but no restaurant. So, you hardly see anyone who works there. The room was very spacious for a European hotel and the bathroom was split with a room for bath and one for toilet. It is a convenient walk from the train station and into the old town.

The Hotel itself was very good, easy to self check in, but always a member of staff their to assist if needed. Room was very clean and spacious. Free coffee and tea was most welcome along with fruit and water. Plenty of restaurants near by, so not far to walk. All in all I would highly recommend The Hotel Dutch.

The hang out room with unlimited coffees / tea, bananas, fruit in fridge, pastries, games set up like chess, connect four, etc. ( though the unending female skimpy dancing on screen music videos in hang out room were very sexist for these times and loud so didn’t make it relaxing to read and ‘hang out’) A fun quirky sense of humour throughout the hotel. Well designed rooms. Self checkin and out was so easy. Close to railway station and heaps of eating places in close proximity

Used the “breakfast bag “ service which involved leaving the empty bag hanging on the door ,with a preferred delivery time ,and the breakfast was left in the bag - juice/ yogurt/ granola/ fruit/ pastry. Adrienne (2/5): Lost customer for life - Had the utter misfortune of booking a night at Le Dutch and we will never darken their doors again Only after hitting the submit button did I notice the date did not match my original search. I immediately called customer service but they would only volunteer to contact the hotel to see if the hotel would “permit” the change …..guess what? They didn’t. If I’d tried to change after a day or even after 1 hr, sure, hold me accountable but when I’m calling you literally within 15 seconds to alert you there is a problem and I not only was looking for a different date but I was looking for TWO nights & not one. Nope. They could note have cared less & I was now committed to staying for 1 night, 2 months earlier than I had searched for And how awesome that I am a gold meme er on hotels.com. They were useless! So if you’re looking for a hotel that offers decent customer service and would be is a repeat-worthy visit, this is not the place. I cannot believe your customer service is so strict that someone calling within seconds, to alert an error has been made, is given zero consideration or benefit of the doubt. So yeah, you got 1 night out of me. You could have had 2 and a repeat visitor. Never again……

Catherine (10/5): Great hotel - Had such a lovely day at the Dutch. So clean & comfortable. Spacious room. Great bed & pillows, we both slept so well, black out curtains were a bonus, no outside noise. Separate toilet and bathroom, great shower and was lovely to have a bath too to ease the aching muscles after a long day sightseeing, lots of toiletries, fluffy towels, hairdryer. In the room we had a safe, TV, plenty of hanging space. Had a cute red Smeg fridge with mini bar, tea tray on top with sachets of coffee & brown sugar, tea bags, sachets of powdered milk....this is a small annoyance, can't understand why they use horrible powdered milk when a fridge is in the room, as I say it was a very small gripe. Housekeeping every day. Ironing board & Iron in press in the hallway The hotel use self service check in which is very easy to use. The reception area is lovely, again everything is so clean, the "Hang Out" area is great with plenty of games available. We arrived around 8pm, pressed the intercom, gave our details to the receptionist and doors opened, receptionist is available anytime if you have an issue, just call the number provided. We met her in person when we were checking out, she was so friendly and interested in our stay in Maastrict. Location is perfect. On a little side street, a few minutes walk from Maastrict train station. Hotel is in a beautiful area , lovely bars & restaurants beside it. Lovely short walk to the Bridge and you are in the centre.

Alexander (10/5): Excellent Service, Stay & Location - The Dutch was recommended to me by my boss as my wife and I planned a weekend away for our anniversary. I'm glad she recommended it as it was a perfect stay. Once you find the check-in desk (a bit weird due to COVID) everything else is easy. It's a short walk from the station, short walk to the bridge, restaurants all around and feels like a safe area to walk around (all of Maastricht that we saw did). The staff at The Beaumont are currently checking you in and gave exemplary service throughout, even helping us rearrange our booking at Harry's for brunch on Sunday morning (I will say, I'd check out The Beaumont next time to see the difference). Check-in and out was easy and entering The Dutch you notice its a place built for fun. We were on the top floor - fortunately the aircon worked great - and it was quiet although we had the elevator next to us. Bit annoying as you could hear it through the wall but it becomes white noise. If you're a light sleeper, Room 51 may not be for you. There's an honesty bar, irons on each floor (why don't all hotels at least do this), a minibar (which we didn't use to be honest), good toiletries, overall a good experience. Highly recommended and location really can't be beat for me.

Verified traveler (10/5): Good value and very good hotel in its own right - This was my second stay here and I'll be back next time I'm in Maastricht. I can't really fault the hotel in any way. It is a short walk from the train station so it's good to not have to carry big luggage too far on cobblestone streets. Once there, it's easy to go anywhere in the town on foot as Maastricht is quite a compact place. Free hot drinks and snacks also make it good value for money. Cleanliness was better than a few four-start hotel I stayed at.

June (10/5): Nice hotel close to shops & restaurants - Could not say a bad word about the Dutch. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The little extras such as ice lollies, fruit and unlimited coffee etc made our stay that little bit special. Also loved the breakfast in a bag which was different. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Wish it had been longer than three nights.
