Guest Reviews
- Chris (2/5): - DO NOT BOOK a room here!! If negative stars were available, we’d hands down rate this dump -5stars. What you see in the phots that they’ve provided is nothing like what the actual place looks like. The whole experience was brutal. To start, when we arrived, we had to find the keys which were located in a lock box that was on a chain link fence with about 40 boxes. The lock box they describe is super difficult to find. Once we finally figured out how to check in, we got into the unit only to find it dirty and basically nothing like the pictures. All of the funiture in the photos had been removed and replaced with dirty old junk. The bed was a double not a queen, and we actually checked for bed bugs before using it. They provided 2 small towels that were actually wet which was disgusting. No blinds or curtains covering the huge window. We were so disgusted that we actually left and booked a proper hotel for the second night of our stay. We attempted to contact the manager several times at the 24/7 number provided but there was never an answer. We then contacted Expedia who also made multiple attempts to contact them. When they finally got through to someone, the man on the phone refused to give his name and ended up hanging up on the Expedia representative. Now we’re fighting to not only get a refund, but the $300 deposit they actually charged our credit card. It really ruined our entire trip as we spent hours on the phone trying to rectify the situation. Total SCAM!!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location and a nice, super spacious place to stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location. Clean room but much smaller than the pictures show. Had a very difficult time with access to the building due to a missing key fob. Front desk was a bit rude about having to buzz us in and said she would not do it again and WE needed to figure out how to get in the building if we leave. A bit of stress but by 9:00pm (issue started at 4:03pm) a replacement fob was delivered. Owners kept great communication and the rest of the process was “as communicated.”
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The location is great. "Checking in and out" was simple. When they tell you they're available to be contacted 24/7, they're not being honest. What you see in the ads pictures on Expedia's website isn't even close to what the place really looks like. Maybe the same walls. No furniture on the deck, one sad futon (not leather) with a tv stand and tv in the living room, no k-cup coffee maker/pods - only a regular coffee maker with no coffee, 2 sad towels, one washcloth, apartment was not clean, were told not to leave garbage with no direction where to take it before we left and the shower head leaked badly.
- Andrew (6/5): Great Area! - Area is top notch, especially if seeing a show at Budweiser/Exhibition. The room was fine, nothing special. Need blinds and a better house cleaner but nothing was wrong.
- Kiara W. (6/5): Good - The apartment didn’t match the pictures. But overall it was very welcoming and me and my roommates did enjoy our stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location for price. - The location & Neighborhoods is great. Instructions to check in is clear and easy.
Only things to help improve the suite is to put curtains up, have a more comfortable mattress, change the shower curtain & scrub the shower/tub more. It has great potential.
- Lee (10/5): - I was here for business trip. Condo is located in good location. The check in steps were very simple and i had a lovely stay.
- mike (10/5): - This property is absolutely amazing for the price i paid for. The area is also very nice as every thing is in walking distance. I will come back here for sure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A clean modern condo unit in a good location for getting downtown. All the basics for a short stay including some light cooking was provided. The building is located in an unlovely dead end street next to the freeway but the area seems safe and there is a grocery store and several cafes near by. Communication with the property managers was by email and prompt. There were several warnings to avoid speaking to the building concierge which make you feel like you are skulking in and out of the place but there was no real problem.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Right next to a great coffee shop and some nice restaurants. Walking distance to Chinatown, and a quick Uber away from the best shopping areas in the city. Not a bad location, despite the sketch check-in process
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great experience, highly recommend! - We had a wonderful stay! Very clean loft in the amazing Libery Village area of Toronto. This suite is great for solo travelers and couples as it is a one bedroom suite.
- Genevieve (10/5): - This condo is absolutely gorgeous! It’s a tiny chic and elegant condo and I absolutely adored my stay here. I was pleasantly shocked by how nice and pristine it was honestly, check in is in a lock box on a fence across the street but check in details are very descriptive and informative and if you have any questions they are extremely fast with response times. There is a deposit required but it is refunded after check out! The condo is in a perfect location, and the actual condo building is immaculate. You simply cannot beat the price, I would love stay here again if it’s available when I return to Toronto.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Lots of hair around the property, no curtains, no door handle on the toilet door. Requests to make up sofa bed ignored and one duvet between two beds with snow on the ground outside. Generally not good enough for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place. Easy communication. Only issue, no bed sheets for the sofa bed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Only fair for price paid - Lots of building noise at 3 am, no curtains or blinds on windows hampered sleeping in, balcony windows need cleaning. No problems getting in.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There wasn’t enough linens. For two beds, we only have two thin sheets, one comforter, one very thin bed cover and only two pillow cases. Not enough towels and no dish towels. The dryer didn’t work. The property was clean but extremely basic. I booked for 4 people and didn’t have enough!
- Linda (10/5): - Tidy and comfortable place to stay. Will return for my next concert in Toronto. Good location.
- Cristine (6/5): Lavish Experience - Received an email with instructions including pictures about the lock box. Arrived near midnight to darkness and the lock box was located in a different spot at the top of the fence. The sheets were stained and the extra blanket smelled like someone had slept with it between their legs. Washed the blanket only to find out the dryer wouldn’t turn on. Called Lavish, no answer. Sent an email, never received a response about this. Slept with a damp (but clean) blanket. Carpet was dirty. Information given stated that there were many 24 hour lots. Reality is that the lots are from 6pm to 6am.
Otherwise, the location was fine.
- Marc (4/5): - The location was excellent, close to everything. The property was not cleaned even if they insist on you leaving it clean with the threat of keeping your deposit. The pictures did not reflect the reality. We were supposed to have a double sofa bed and it was a single bed. The service was poor
and the internet wasn’t working. Too bad because it’s a nice building and nice area.
- Brenda (8/5): Sleep Tip - The loft was great. The only thing recommended is to bring a sleep mask if you're a "light" sleeper. It's very bright because they're are no shades on the glass doors/windows.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - comfortable and quaint.xxxxxxxxcccccccccccccccccccccccccccc
- Francisco (6/5): - Excellent instructions to find the keys.
Great location.
Room was clean but pillows smelled really bad.
Overall good.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Location is not optimal for who want to go to downtown often, communication is slow. No hair conditioner provided, only shampoo and body soap and nothing else, it was a pain.
- Amber (2/5): No customer service - The changed not only my room but the actual building location without notifying me. I booked the loft and I was given a one story with two bedrooms that was horribly decorated. I called to complain about the mistake. They said they would contact the manager and the manger would call me back that day or the next. The manager never called. I called back they said the manager was away. I left an email with other complaints about the room cleanliness: dirty women's underwear found under bed, a dirty sponge provided for cleaning dishes, overall the place was dirty, also they provided coffee and powdered creamer but no sugar or sweetner of any kind. I left another email asking if I would hear back from a manager about my experience before I left a review and they never answered me back. So I assume they don't care about this review being left. Worst costumer service I have ever experienced.
- Virginia (2/5): Not a place for germophobes! - Very dirty carpets throughout with big stains.
Stained placemats.
Crumbs in drawer.
No teatowel for kitchen.
Mess under sink.
Smelly fridge.
Only two towels and one hand towel - no facecloth for 4-day stay.
Dirty walls throughout.
When I removed the bed sheets, the bed pad was stained.
Front door sticks badly and is hard to open and close.
No curtains - is this normal for lofts? I felt I was living in a fishbowl and did not feel safe with lights on at night.
- Josiane (8/5): 12,000,000 stars! - Had a great experience with Lavish Suites. Due to a eater issue out of their control in the building they relocated my husband and I to a beautiful 3 storey townhouse with a rooftop patio.
I contacted them about the mess left in the planters by the previous guests and not only did they thank me but they told me not to worry that I wouldn't lose my deposit as I had notified them.
Absolutely amazing and customer oriented people.
- christopher (10/5): - Great!
- Dan (10/5): Nice location downtown Toronto - Awesome place with gym, pool, kitchen... Would have liked curtains in the huge window, I would have slept better...
Will go again
- Robert (8/5): My 25th Birthday - Was nice and clean and comfy enjoyed my stay would stay there again
- matlene (10/5): A great apartment and very clean - Wonderful , clean with a very modern decor. A little away from the heart of downtown but cab was only like 11$ to get there:). It was a wonderful stay:) certainly booking again , very convenient check in/out as well
- Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy and Quiet - Stayed here for one night. Everything is as good as it looks. Great location in the city.
- Robert (8/5): - This is not a hotel but a condo, so "checking in" is a little convoluted - you need to get the key from a lockbox attached to a fence across the street. So too there is no front desk or typical human-reliant hotel amenities. Other than that slight inconvenience the room wasn't perfectly clean, but otherwise a very large and affordable stay with nice conveniences like a kitchen and living room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome would recommend to anyone coming to the area. Easy access to everything in the city.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location and spacious - Nice place to stay, good facilities with Netflix and gym, yoga room. Toronto new style - must like big building / industrial area before choosing this place. It was convenient and good value for money,.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Location - This condo is in the heart of liberty village. Super clean, and homey space, with very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again
- Jennifer (10/5): Comfortable Loft - This was a convenient and comfortable spot for our stay in Toronto. We were right in the heart of Liberty Village which was perfect as it was right next door the friends we were visiting!
- Taylor (10/5): Wonderful hotel - This condo is extremely nice and homey. The staff are extremely friendly and committed to making the stay as comfortable as possible. Only downside was the mattress was a little firm for my liking. But overall it was wonderful and I would definitely stay here again!

- Sylvia (10/5): Great find! - Great location and excellent price!
- Elissa (8/5): - Queen pull out not very comfortable, no special hotel like treatment just a place to stay. Parking convenient.
- mom of one. (10/5): Nice place in upscale Toronto neighborhood. - Nice place, in. Upscale area. Close to all and walkable to transportation in to heart of city. Suitable for 3, 4 tops.
- RAJESH (8/5): Trip to Montreal - Was business and pleasure
- John (10/5): Excellent Stay - My wife and I stayed here for two days and had a wonderful time in this "wow factor" condo - the photos capture the space perfectly. Extremely accessible to downtown Toronto and right in the heart of Liberty Village. The two-story loft style living was comfortable and beautiful. Would definitely recommend for a short visit or long-term stay. It has everything you need and feels like home away from home!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Heart of Liberty Village, Toronto - Heart of Liberty Village, Toronto. Perfect for a couple's getaway.
