- Catherine (10/5): Fantastic Weekend - The couple who run the inn were lovely! They made a 5-star homemade breakfast every morning and kept the house very clean and comfortable. The house is located between Lancaster City and Lititz so the location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

The gardens behind the B&B were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening. The owners were fantastic. They were very friendly and did the little things to make the stay excellent. They even made our breakfast one morning an hour ahead of the scheduled time so we could get to our family plans that day. Would highly recommend this B&B.

We chose EJ Bowman because of recommendations stating that the food was great and we were not disappointed. We both like strong cup of coffee in the morning and while the coffee was good stronger, for us would have been better.

I always head to R.B. Shap (5-min drive) for shoes; Lititz offers dining options. My hosts, Diane and Scott, are welcoming and affable. I will gladly return.

The location was perfect for us, between Lancaster and Lititz, and away from the crazy touristy corridors. The house is immaculate! The atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, peaceful, well appointed! We wanted for nothing. Every need was anticipated and prepared for. Our room, Witmer, was quite comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The house is gorgeous and was decorated for the holidays so beautifully and tastefully! The breakfasts were so delicious that the hosts need to publish a cookbook. I have celiac and the hosts were undaunted, ensuring that I was both well fed and given gluten free yummies. This stay was truly a joy!
- Nancy (10/5): Humble perfection brought to you by two down to earth people - First and foremost for me, I love that every room at the bed-and-breakfast, every single room, was decorated for Christmas. They were very festive and it made my heart and soul smile. Secondly, but right up there with the Christmas decorations was the delicious breakfast that was prepared for us. I loved that everyone staying there ate together so we got to meet some spectacular, wonderful people. Diane and Scott, once they were done serving breakfast, sat at the table with us and enjoyed conversation, coffee and laughs. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this bed-and-breakfast!! Diane and Scott have created a relaxing, peaceful and wonderful experience. They have thought of and presented everything you could possibly need snacks, all kinds of beverages and don’t get me started on those delicious homemade cookies in the Christmas cookie jar! You won’t be disappointed if you have the opportunity to stay with them and enjoy the best experience in Lancaster you could possibly want. Run don’t walk to book a room and experience this quaint and perfect spot!! That I didn't stay longer

- Gail (10/5): - Elegant and comfortable, the Bowman House is surprisingly quiet despite its fronting on Lititz Pike (501). In the rear garden a waterfall offered a tranquil retreat. Scott and Diane served delicious breakfasts, and a guest kitchen is stocked with snacks and a Flavia coffee/cappucino/matcha tea machine. My favorite shoe store, R B Shap, is two miles away and downtown Lititz less than 4. I’ve stayed in four other inns/hotels in the area and this is by far the best. Diane and Scott made me feel very welcome; I’ll gladly return.

It was on a busy street, but the noise was stifled by good windows. The backyard however it was a beautiful garden that was like an oasis. The room is small however it could have used a little table or a desk. The owner did find me one when I asked about it.

You couldn't have gotten a better breakfast at a 5 star luxury hotel. No elevator but the stairs were doable.

We enjoyed the luxurious room and the home cooked breakfast. We would go again when the occasion comes up again. It was near a lot of attractions like malls, pretzel making history. Nothing.

The property is beautifully maintained and the 1860 house is in pristine condition. This along with the 3-course top notch excellent breakfast makes the B&B of choice in the Lancaster area.
