- Liz (9/5): Loved that it was locally owned - Location and the rooms were clean and updated. Loved the porch and easy to get in and out. Also not crowded. We didn’t get much by the way of service. Toilet paper was replenished when we were out but it was just sat on our bathroom. The tea was not replenished.
- Brenda (10/5): -
- Little (9/5): - Hubby and I have been here in a while since our last stay the place has new owners and upgraded a lot of things would definitely been here again thank you for a wonderful weekend
- Karen (9/5): - It was clean and comfortable.
- marbury (8/5): Excellent accomodations - I love this place cause it's like a getaway tucked into the woods with enough seclusion to make a person feel like they are in their own little world while being able to drive to some great restaurants and being able to see some historic sites not to far from the lodgings . Highly recommend and will be a repeat customer.
- Raluca (10/5): - Everything, the room, the patio overlooking the lake, the serenity of the place, the location!!! Everything was amazing! Beds are on the hard side, but it’s a matter of whatever you feel comfortable with

- julie (10/5): We booked anotger night , it was really nice. Willing to give the staff who seemed to do all things some slack because - Clean, pretty, comfortable Hard to get ahold of the front desk.
- Harry (7/5): We enjoyed our stay in a small lodge by the lake. - Very cute rooms with a small patio and a view of a lake. No drinks or kitchen utensils provided, NIghtstand on only one side of the bed.
- Donna (10/5): Perfect location. Quiet, nice rooms and the deck overlooking the small lake is wonderful - Quiet and great location
- Tim (9/5): -
- Laura (7/5): Quaint updated motel but room smelled strongly of mold. - Great location. Nicely restored. Met my needs for 1 night. Seems clean and up to date, but there was a Very musty/moldy smell in 705. This needs remediation! I would not want to stay longer than 1 night in this unit.

- Liane (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): Very friendly staff and clean room. - The staff/front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, almost like it was brand new. If I were to bring my family again, I will book a bigger room, maybe even one of the suites. Coffee for the single cup coffee pot could have been better. But, that's just a personal preference, not really anything to do with the motel itself.

- Makhya (1/5): Beautiful but i will not ever stay where im not welcomed - It was very beautiful If you are black they will give you a hard time. My brother had passed and i had a little get to together we had multiple complaints even after the music was turned down at a decent level. Staff was incredibly rude
- Carol (10/5): -
- Christopher (9/5): - Breakfast? Fewer geese
- Elzbieta (10/5): Staff was very friendly and welcoming! - Great location and comfortable room with a nice view!

- ALBERT (10/5): great getaway for one night -
- Marianne (10/5): - Location and view. Beds could have been more comfortable and Queen sized beds would have been better.
- Kay (10/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): - Had a king with a lake view. Cosy room with a sofa and little desk, closet at entrance. Nice pictures for decoration. Impeccably clean room and freshly renovated. Pretty grounds/landscaping. Quiet location even you are near the road. The room had a fridge and microwave. The internet was fast enough and enough plugs for charging devices. Very convenient for visiting Fallingwater, Kentuck knob or hiking at Ohiopyle. Free parking near the entrance of the room. Heating worked fine.
Would definitely recommend this place. As being there a little bit off the season, lots of restaurants nearby were not open for a dinner or at breakfast.
- Michele (10/5): Was at Ohiopyle and found this place only about 12 minutes away -
- John (7/5): - Location. Bed was hard.
- rui (9/5): -
- Christoph (9/5): -
- Colleen (7/5): The property was well situated for visiting the local highlights. - The location of the property was good for our purposes. We liked the fact that we had an outdoor seating area. Fresh towels every day was a plus as well. There really was no cleaning done of our room for the 3 nights we stayed. The floor was not vacuumed. Bathroom was not cleaned. And no attempt was made to even make the bed. Amenities (shampoo, body wash, tea bags, ice bucket liner, etc.) were not replenished either.
- Nicolas (8/5): - This was quite a lovely find. We were headed to Fallingwater which was only 20 minutes away. We had a private deck overlooking the pond. One word of caution. The Lodge was still under construction so no kitchen ergo no breakfast. I guess this is only a B not B&B. However, lots of food and breakfast choices in the area. The rooms must have been recently renovated and there were a few unfinished items, probably part of someone's punch list. Overall, reasonably priced and a great find.
- Douglas (8/5): - We did not have one of kitchenette rooms, but we did have a ring side view of the lake!
- Carol (10/5): - Comfortable and pretty. Would stay again
- Angia (9/5): - It’s cute, you get your own lodge. Staff were friendly and helpful. I wish there was a kitchenette and we had some ants in the room. Not big deal, overall it was clean.
- Amy (10/5): - Great place! A quick and easy drive to the Frank Lloyd Wright Falling Water House!
- Justin (10/5): - Staff was really helpful in accommodating us for very late check in and early check out. Room was very clean, and bed was comfy. Exactly what we needed after a long day of driving
- Karen (10/5): Chalk Hill - Convenient place for our trip, clean rooms, all amenities!
- Claudia (4/5): -
- Mary (10/5): - Lovely property. Very relaxing, Nice view.
About a 20 minute drive to Fallingwater and the town of Ohiopile
We plan to stay longer next time!
- Vikki (10/5): -
- Winifred (9/5): - Clean and comfortable. Perfect place to unwind before a long bike ride There was a neighbor who was on the phone and speaking very loud and angry for a long time on their deck. I just persevered and kept the windows and doors closed. It did not ruin my visit. Just a comment
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great spot to visit Fallingwater - Lovely setting nice people comfortable room. This is a remodeled motel.
- Gabriele (8/5): -
- Tina (10/5): - Enjoyed our one night stay.
- Christopher (10/5): Relaxing and needed! - The scenic lake view. N/A
- Christian (7/5): - Kleine Terrasse mit Seeblick, gemütlich. Gute Lage. Zimmergröße für 4 Personen grenzwertig, Zimmerservice mäßig.
- Richard (8/5): Basically all good - Quiet, convenient, good value Room was kind of damp, and the unit, even on 'Dry', couldnt seem to cure
- Lois (10/5): - Very nice place!!
- Brita (10/5): - After a long day it was the perfect spot
- Beth (6/5): - The room smelled of mildew
- Carol (8/5): Very pleasant place to stay when touring Frank Lloyd Wright properties. - The green space and location. Nothing
- Dianne (10/5): Love these cottage-style rooms. It’s a great place to stay! - There are cute cottage-style rooms that are extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully finished. N/A
- John (10/5): Was a good, clean room for the right price - Good value. Nothing. Wanted a kitchen but those rooms were booked
- Frank (6/5): Overall, it was a nice stay. All of the amenities we needed were close to where we stayed at the Lodge - Location. It was an interesting setup like a bunch of single story condos. Tv stations didn’t work. Rooms were a little too small for 2 adults and 2 children.
- usha (10/5): Excellent - Heel mooi gebouwd en super geriefelijk en schoon Niets we bleven een dag langer
- Tammy (10/5): Just what we wanted for our adventure and will definitely use again. - Traveled to go to concert at Timber Rock Amphitheater, which was 7 minutes. Room was very clean and comfortable, clean and cozy. For what we were there for it was perfect.
- Rebelo (9/5): -
- Canziani (9/5): -
- John J. (8/5): - Very nice, but there was droning noise the was
disconcerting, unable to find the source.
- Michael (8/5): - They are currently under renovation. The finished product should be just lovely.
- Richard (10/5): - Realy cute place, newly remodeled. Convenient to Timber Rock Amphitheater, shopping and dining.I highly recommend staying here!!!
- James (8/5): -
- Kelley (9/5): - Very clean
- kelly (8/5): - The room was very nice and clean. Offered plenty of options if you want to cook while you stay there. Our room didnt have a view of the pond but many would have a nice view. Pond is large with a trail to walk around it. I would suggest for them to put an fountain or something in it to move the water a little. Saw some guest fishing the pond and they said they caught some bass. Location was great to go to different outdoor sites around the area. The only thing i would have liked was breakfast available in the mornings but i believe they are working on that near the office now. So until that is finished i highly recomment the butcher shop/store across the street for amazing breakfast sandwiches
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful!! - Beautiful location with the pond! We enjoyed the walking trails and also walking over to Mountain Market Meats for snacks and for delicious breakfast biscuits. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the terrace, especially in the evening watching the clouds and stars and listening to the frogs.
- Orlandella (10/5): - The staff here are wonderful. This is the first time in my life that I've ever enjoyed the act of checking in and checking out of a hotel.
- Maria (9/5): -
- Allison (10/5): - Beautiful property. Super clean lovely rooms newly renovated. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Scott (10/5): - Nice setting
- Palesky (10/5): -
- Charles (10/5): - Enjoy the area
- DeLucey (10/5): -
- Tom (9/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): - Good communication between owners.
- Hali (10/5): - Very nice
- Kristen (10/5): - We planned to arrive at 1am, so Alex sent us a lockbox combo for the key. This was the fastest check-in I have ever experienced, and we were able to go straight to bed!
If you like to sleep with white noise this is as good as it gets. Air conditioning is strong and steady, not on/off all night like most hotels. Bathroom fan can stay on without the light as well. If this sounds strange to you I understand! But if you get it, you get it.
Will definitely stay in this cozy hotel again.
- Sherry (7/5): It is a nice place but I don’t know if I would return - A short drive to many points of interest and activities. The outside deck is nice to relax on with a view of a small pond. Front desk was very nice. The property is very well maintained. The beds were very hard and the pillows weren’t comfortable. It made it really rough for sleeping. Loud banging from the neighbors late at night that went on for a long time, while trying to sleep. Our third night there, we tried to enjoy the deck but that was cut short due to loud neighbors next door and smoke from the grill coming over on our side. On the other side of us, on the next section of places, there was very LOUD music playing. It made it hard to enjoy the deck and we decided to leave that night instead of the next morning .
- Marilyn (9/5): -
- Susan (10/5): - The staff at the lodge was amazing! We had several issues, but they resolved each issue almost immediately. Our room had a kitchenette. We found it to be very well equipped. My only note of concern was that the shades of the room were not blackout shades. We woke up very early with the sun. We would definitely stay there again.
