O quarto é amplo, só um pouco antigo. A piscina é pequena. Café da manhã bem básico. Faltam espaços para desfrutar do próprio hotel...

Adene (7/5): Great little spot - Clean and location was accessible. Breakfast was great! The property is nice and the bed was comfortable. The pillows! They were so thick, I slept without. The breakfast was excellent but the staff didn’t maintain it. No cutlery, items needed to be replenished, garbage was over flowing.

Daniel (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft nah am Meer - Sehr freundliches Personal. Gepflegte Anlage in super Lage, nah zum Meer. Waschmaschine, Trockner und Pool mit barrierefreiem Zugang vorhanden. Wir haben sogar ohne Aufpreis ein größeres Zimmer mit Balkon bekommen. Es gab ein kleines Frühstück, das nicht beworben wird, das uns super gefallen hat. Nachmittag gibt es kostenlos Kaffee und Cookies. Nicht günstig, aber für Lage und Ort trotzdem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Beim Frühstück nur echtes Geschirr und Besteck (keine Wegwerf-Produkte) wäre ein Mehrwert und umweltfreundlicher.

Floretta (9/5): It was a great stay and like I said it’s not the hotels fault that some guests do not respect other people by being so l - We added a night so we switched rooms. The first room was a bit cramped. The second room for 3 nights was fantastic size! And in a much better location. The staff were fantastic. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and extremely polite and helpful, amazing customer service! We had some extremely noisy neighbors the second night. It’s not the hotels fault but I wish we would have said something to front desk. Man and women were arguing extremely loud for hours. This is also not hotels fault, the third night people were outside yelling sounding drunk and walking around extremely loud for a couple hours after 10 pm. We wanted to use the hot tub, when my husband went to look at it, he came back and said it was green. He approached the front desk and they said that’s from the chemicals that were put in it to keep it clean. We opted not to use it which I was really bummed because it is part of why I booked this hotel for the hot tub.

CarCounsel (9/5): This place changed my perception of Santa Barbara for the better. - The staff was superb. I'd seen Ben's name mentioned in the reviews, and within seconds you come to see why. The staff in general feels genuinely and consistently warm and welcoming, From Ben at check in to the to the young gent stocking the breakfast buffet between pitching in behind the desk and wishing us safe travels as we hopped in the car for a stressful trip ahead. I also had a very understanding and supportive interaction with the General Manager by email. Others in my party mentioned that staff would ask with genuine enthusiasm if we were having a good time, etc. The location was close enough to feel walkable to the beachfront or the main avenue of shops and restaurants but had a more residential neighborhood feel, which is hard to pull off in an area as densely populated by hotels as this one is. The hotel really hit a sweet spot offering everything you need with no frills but some nice touches you may not need or expect. The architecture outside hit that Spanish mission sweet spot, and didn't feel like it was one of the more affordable options around. We felt like we fit in, as did the building, and that made it feel like a home away from home. That could have been due in part to the layout of our ground level suite. Not much to fault that can't be attributed to my last minute booking and room requirement. Was a bit of a hodgepodge or updated and remodeled with a more pre-remodel feel. but that I think was specific to my room, which also happened to lack direct light due to its placement. The place did not feel as upscale or as the pictures suggested, but that didn't necessarily detract; it just made it feel more residential and less commercial.

He was helpful, kind, generous and attenti - Clean, bright, wonderful location to the water and downtown. The coffee maker was great. The staff was GREAT! Rooms felt bare. Would have loved a tiny gym.

Pinar (8/5): Suite genug Platz, ruhige und gute Lage. - Die Lage war ruhig und zentral. Parkmöglichkeiten genügend vorhanden. Suite hatte viel Platz und das Bett war gross. Hatten genug Decken und Kissen zur Verfügung. Das Bett war schön gross, aber es war unbequem. Wir hatten am nächsten Tag Rückenschmerzen. Der Abfluss der Dusche sah man und sah sehr schmutzig aus.

Lynn (8/5): Clean, conveniently located motel. - So close to the Ocean, Wharf and Pier. Very quiet location but walkable to everything. Good size Suite with dishes, sink, large refrigerator. Very clean! The upgraded rooms were a bit blah, no indirect lighting options.

Francisco (9/5): - Clean Breakfast was super simple but cold even tho it was in heat trays when I took it to my room it was cold. I was in a downstairs unit and you could hear and feel the upstairs ppl walking almost like they were stomp walking but they were regular walking. I just kept looking at my ceiling hoping they would find time to sit down so I could relax for a change. Housekeeers were super helpful and attentive so that made up for it. I’d stay again but on the 2nd floor.

Kate (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay at The Franciscan Inn and would return. - We loved the location of the hotel. We asked for a casual spot for dinner, got a great suggestion from staff and were able to walk to the restaurant. In the morning we borrowed bikes, FREE with our room, and had a lovely time cycling along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast. We found three spiders - yuck! Although nice & clean, our unit's wall coverings are definitely ready for a change.

Yuliia (10/5): Great option for a short stay - Excellent location, very close to the sea. Great service — friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are a bit dated, but very comfortable, especially the bed. If I had to point something out — the pool was not impressive. Frozen strawberries were served at breakfast. The downsides are minor. Overall, a very pleasant stay, and the positives clearly outweigh the negatives.

JEANETTE (9/5): Excellent, found & returned my jewelry!! - I stupidly left my jewelry when I checked out and didn’t realize it until later that evening several hundred miles away. Was able to contact the desk the next day and was told it was turned in and in their safe! Thank you to the wonderful staff!! Unfortunately a woman woke us up at 4:30 AM continuously pounding on a door in our area. Eventually she was led away by security I assume. That incident is not the fault of the hotel and their staff. Could not reach hotel desk on Sunday evening.

Caryl (8/5): Great location the pool was a lovely temperature lovely and clean place - Very friendly staff and the bed was really comfy The bed was rather large (albeit very comfy) for the room so very difficult to get around the bed without bashing your legs. No full length mirror and needed a lamp for the sitting area to soften the starkness of the space.
Alksninis (10/5): A welcoming place to stay with a wonderful staff and great location! - We were so happy with The Franciscan Hotel. It started off great with our welcome at the front desk from Ben. He was so warm and friendly, and he shared a lot of information with us about the area, which we took advantage of the next day. We loved walking around the area and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Oh, and a special shout out to the welcoming cookies - delicious! Nothing!

Emil (5/5): - Very close to the beach, nice exterior Poor cleanliness in our suite - stains of a questionable source on the sofa (I hope it was yoghurt…), bedsheet stained with a marker, really bad breakfast with spoilt orange juice that made us question the freshness of anything we were given to eat.

Cody W (10/5): Nice Hotel in a Solid Location with Helpful Staff! - Hotel was easy to find and located in a convenient location close to all our intended attractions, room was very spacious and clean including a refrigerator and all other typical amenities (blow dryer, iron/steamer, etc.). Air conditioner was strong and water pressure in the shower was very good. Young man who helped us check in (whose name I didn't get) was incredibly friendly and helpful, he really gave us a great feeling about the property we were staying in. We rented bikes from the hotel one day which was an easy process. Nothing!

Hannah (10/5): What a gem of a place. Great value. - Our favorite hotel on our pacific coast highway trip. Great location, beautiful setting, the room was very comfortable and well appointed. Service was excellent and the breakfast was just perfect. I’m only sad we didn’t plane on a second night. I would have loved to take advantage of the loaner bicycles and ride around town, use the pool and just relax for another day
Kayla (6/5): - The location was great, walkable to the beach and very easy to get around. The parking was easy and plentiful. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. The bathroom was in rough shape, particularly the shower. The shower curtain was tattered and there were a lot of holes/stains on the wall, making it feel grimy. The contraption that held the shampoo/body wash/etc. also seemed to be designed to limit the amount you could use as much as possible, which felt very stingy. The room itself was basic but comfortable enough. The AC unit was outdated and did not stay on consistently. I also would have preferred a physical lock on the door for safety purposes.

Misty (10/5): Cozy escape - The hotel is close to the beach, harbor, and State Street while managing to feel like a world away. It was the perfect spot to escape the noise and congestion. The room was comfortable, but a little plain, for two people. All staff we encountered were friendly. We wished there was sliced bread and yogurt available for breakfast. However, it is nothing we would have ever complained about as it is impossible to make everyone happy when it comes to continental breakfast.
