• REED (4/5): Wanna Be Great...... - Nice large comfortable room Hotel needs some TLC. Room was large and spacious, and has some great potential, but needed some serious cleaning. Woke up during the night and found 2 large Roaches on the sink - I live in Florida, but did not expect them here. Entire hotel needs some hard work. Not a lot of money, just big cleanup and lots of fresh paint. Looks like it has been neglected for years. Door code for room 7 was so predictable, that I am sure I could have gotten into any room in the hotel, and probably never changed. We felt unsecure....why not just a key ? Also had a young couple next to us smoking pot on the back deck, while the manager waved at us. Really !! We paid over $200 for the night.....Should have been half that. Wanna be a great place, but just not happening.

• Wernars (9/5): Erg leuke blokhut - Prima bevallen, wij zaten op enige afstand in een soort historische blokhut. Heel erg leuk, ontbijt bij het hotel zelf, alles vers en lekker. Buiten op terras vliegen kolibries en een heel mooi uitzicht. Bluff is een klein dorpje met een leuk historisch fort. Niet een plek om lang te verblijven. Geen zwembad maar dat wisten we van te voren.

• Rachel (9/5): Wonderful stay in Bluff. - Quiet location, beautiful views, comfortable and clean. Delicious breakfast. There is nothing I don’t like, though some people will be put off by the exterior of the building and grounds.

Peaceful environment, helpful staff who even provided me with a sleep mask. I’m persnickety about light in my room when the lights are off. The thermostat has a huge blue light that illuminates the corner of the room. I would stay again but bring some tape and cardboard to cover it. It did make a hefty night light.

Breakfast was exceptional!! Staff is friendly, kind, and very helpful. Shower stall tiling needs a little TLC. Room lighting is harsh. Bed sheets felt less than fresh but everything was clean overall!

Beautiful idyllic location with great views. peaceful and quiet. Rooms very comfy with comfy beds and linens with fresh smell. The rooms are beautifully decorated and give you the feel of this location and culture. Breakfast made fresh daily with fresh ingredients, not the usual continental breakfast but cooked for you from scratch. Will definitely return one day and recommend I like everything about the property. Only so far away from where I live:(

• DeniseK (5/5): - Das ist in einem ruhigen Quartier. Das Zimmer ist schön gross mit hohen Decken. Das Badezimmer und die Dusche sind gross und sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach aber gut. Unsere Betten waren leider nicht bequem. Man merkt jede Bewegung des anderen im Bett. Beim 2. Bett welches der Sohn schlief, war mind. 1 Feder defekt und quitschte bei jeder Bewegung. Die Klimaanlage ist viel zu laut. Wir mussten den Stecker ziehen für die Nacht. Mit diesen Mängel war das Zimmer viel zu teuer. Ausser in Las Vegas das teuerste auf der Reise
• Pamela A. (10/5): - What a fantastic place this is! The room, the view, the friendly owner has met every need possible. It felt homelike and special. Details such as a personal microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and even our own ice maker make this even more special. Have a soaking spa tub and separate shower with multiple heads makes this place an 11 out of 10.
• James (10/5): - We planned to visit Monument Valley and, since the View Hotel in Monument Valley was fully booked, needed to choose between a hotel in Kayenta or Bluff for a couple of nights. La Posada Pintada in Bluff turned out to be a great choice. Very spacious and comfortable room. Relaxing setting. Friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast. Drive to Monument Valley from the hotel took about an hour, including stops for photos.

• Alan (8/5): - Nice BandB in a neighborhood about a mile from the center of town. Taos is not very big so if you have a car location is kind of irrelevant. The rooms are each different but, to be honest, not in ideal condition but ok. Breakfast is the standout feature, really excellent. When you get there you need to know your key will be in an envelope outside the dining area because you may not see the "staff,' not an issue, just something to be aware of.
• Debbie (10/5): - La Posada Pintada was a gem. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was very nice with handmade local soaps. The star gazing from our balcony was spectacular. She had a list of local eateries upon check in for a late dinner, and the breakfast provided was wonderful. It's a great stop on the way through Utah.
