Overall, it is not worth the price.

STEPHANIE (9/5): Séjour ressourçant et luxueux - Emplacement et propriété fabuleux Belle piscine Superbe accueil à la réception ( ce qui n est pas toujours le cas) La grande taille de la chambre ainsi que la terrasse extérieure La chambre et surtout la salle de bain étaient datées . Pour la chambre un peu froide il suffirait de rajouter des tapis / descente de lit et d accrocher 2 ou 3 tableaux

Das Personal trägt dem keine Rechnung und unterhält sich lautstark morgens um 07:30 im Gang vor der Tür. Allgemein ist eine Renovation der gesamten Innenräume dringend nötig, es ist mir rätselhaft wie das Hotel bei Relais Chateaux gelistet sein kann…

El check-in fue maravilloso y nos ofrecieron una habitación superior, en concreto una villa con piscina, la habitación con salón, dormitorio enorme con salida al porche y un baño grandísimo con ventana al porche. El trato de la chica que hablaba español fue excepcional, nos ofreció toda la información que necesitábamos y fue muy atenta en todo. El restaurante no pudimos probarlo porque estaba completo pero tiene que ser espectacular. El desayuno fue de los mejores que he tomado con una calidad de productos propio los Relais & Chateaux. Si paso otra vez por esa preciosa zona de Francia (PROVENZA) repetiré. Todo fue genial!!

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. The hotel's owner chef star Xavier Mathieu along with his staff, made the experience truly special. The food was exquisite, and the service went above and beyond. When I had a minor accident upon leaving, the concierge, front desk manager, and even chef Mathieu along with his young son and assistant personally assisted to ensure was taken care of. Exceptional hospitality from start to finish.

We had two suites for our family of 5. The terrace was very small and the bathrooms had dated fixtures also the towels seemed very old almost threadbare. Breakfast was a huge disappointment- very little selection and some days it had all pretty much run out by 10am even though breakfast is served until 1030. Juice had run out and there was no more - never come across this before. My children were hungry as they had just the option of baguette meat and cheese rather than child friendly options such as fresh pancakes, waffles, yoghurts, freshly chopped berries etc. All were absent and not even strawberry or raspberry jam. Very odd. The hotel is severely understaffed and this reflects in the service. The lunch and dinner menu is very limited and very few options for children so we went out each night. Pool menu was also limited. Staff were very pleasant but as I said not enough of them. The staff did help my husband with a lively bouquet of flowers for our anniversary and they also gave us a lovely bottle of rose for the anniversary and when we left a lovely gift also of jam and wine. I can’t fault the staff at all I just think it needs more staff and some updates in the bathrooms.

Tom (6/5): Poor value for money - We arrived at the hotel and were amazed by the beauty, the calming atmosphere and the kind staff. We paid so much for this room just to find out that the AC is broken, the phone and wifi don’t work and even though the staff said that it would be fixed- when we came back to the room after the (disappointing) cooking class, we found out that nothing is fixed. I’m (very) pregnant and sleeping without AC was a nightmare.

Shaun (8/5): Beautiful - Stunning location close to all the provence regions you would want to explore. Our room was beautiful as was the pool areas and grounds. Staff were welcoming of our two little dogs. The food was good. The vibe was a little less relaxed than we had hoped. A little too formal for us and for that reason i am not sure we would return.

Ons werd gevraagd om mee te werken aan een later tijdstip diner. We gingen akkoord maar kregen de slechtste tafel terwijl ik vooraf had opgegeven dat we die avond ons huwelijk vierden. Nul aandacht hiervoor. De prijzen waren zelfs voor een restaurant met Michelin ster exorbitant!!!

Nous avons été surclassés dans une suite avec piscine privée, le rêve. Que du bonheur. Repas délicieux au café de la fontaine, avec pleins de légumes en entrée.

Chantal (8/5): Jolie suite avec piscine privée - L'endroit est très sympa et le personnel attentif à nos besoins. La suite était super et bien agencée. Litterie confortable La piscine privée était un peu sale. Le personnel du restaurant lors du dîner n'a pas changé de verre entre le vin blanc et le rouge, on a trouvé étrange. Il y a eu des erreurs sur notre ticket, que nous avons du rectifier après le repas.

MVH001 (2/5): Food poisoning from restaurant - We had a weeks stay 9-15th August, the room and pool areas were good, fantastic views. The gym however was really poor lacking any real useful equipment or space. We ate in the restaurant at the beginning of our stay, on the second evening I suffered a severe case of food poisoning…yes you are reading this right at a 5*hotel with Michelin star! When I recovered after a couple of days, we reported this to reception. All they were interested in was booking another reservation as the restaurant was “very busy”. No response or reaction to the food poisoning at all… We didn’t eat at the hotel again. We have stayed in 5* hotels with Michelin stars in France and other countries, this hotel and restaurant falls way short of our experiences in all of them. All in all would I go back to this hotel/ restaurant or recommend it to anyone else? Im afraid it’s a big NO from me.

Serge (8/5): Bien mais ne vaut pas 5 étoiles - Bon accueil, personnel très bien. Bon petit déjeuner et bon spa. Mais quelques imperfections surprenantes pour un 5 étoiles : Le robot piscine et les les câbles présents pendant la baignade du matin jusqu'à 11:30. La porte de la chambre laissée ouverte après le menage sans remettre thé et capsules et en oubliant de changer 2 serviettes. Il faut un peu courir après le service bar de la piscine. Le restaurant du soir correct mais sans plus et ne vaut pas 200 euros à 2.

Christophe (5/5): Un hôtel qui n'est pas pour nous - l'accueil, le personnel est gentil et très à l'écoute la température de la piscine (très froide), le prix du dîner (et on n'était pas au resto gastro), le prix du cocktail signature, le petit déjeuner et l'ambiance au global. Je crois tout simplement que nous ne sommes pas la cible de cet hôtel, le personnel est gentil mais 38€ pour des coquillettes avec du jambon et de la truffe, ce n'est quand même pas raisonnable. Nous avons attendu longtemps pour avoir notre bouteille de vin, après plusieurs relance, une fois arrivé, il était bouchonné, c'est ma femme qui l'a détecté, quand on paye le prix fort, on s'attends à l'excellence malheureusement. Le cocktail signature à 28€ me parait un peu absurde aussi, nous n'avons pas de problème pour payer, nous sommes plutôt de bons dépensiers mais il faut que ça ait un sens, dans cet hôtel, notre ressenti c'est que tout est un peu trop cher pour ce que c'est réellement. Le petit déjeuner qui n'a pas de bacon dans le buffet, je ne me souviens pas un seul hôtel où cela m'est arrivé ... Je crois que l'hôtel cherche à se donner un genre qui n'est tout simplement pas le notre... d'ailleurs, nous étions les plus jeunes, la moyenne d'âge est certainement + autour de la cinquantaine, il y a un côté vieillot, presque boomer mais assurément pas moderne et nous étions donc décalé

OBJ26 (6/5): Beautiful hotel but… - Beautiful Hotel with stunning views, our rooms were really nice and clean, staff always pleasant. Just a couple of things to be aware of and a little disappointed 1. It was said to us breakfast was included, at checkout we were told it was not and it was 30euro pp for pastries there was one thing of scrambled eggs which looked different every day. The buffet never change the pastries were always the same , there were crepes that were ice cold (maybe it’s normal to eat them cold but definitely they did not taste that yummy) the fruit was really delicious as it was local. 2. Menu at the bistro very limited and unfortunately the waiters were not really nice although they place was not busy at all they took their sweet time to even bring a menu after watching us sit there for a little while. 3. The restaurants do not proved you with a bill.. all of a sudden at checkout they were o you want to see what you consumed? Very distasteful and a little scam in my eyes. Provide clear bills please from the beginning and inform guests how or what the policies are. I honestly left annoyed because of this. Lovely hotel unfortunately this left a bad taste . The place is beautiful indeed and would definitely recommend just ask questions in the beginning
306austinc (10/5): Pining for Le Phebus - Fabulous place to stay and either relax or use as a base for sightseeing Provence. We did a bit of both and had a fabulous time. Hotel staff are always available but never pushy. Place is truly 5 stars and the dining is fantastic - breakfast and the Bistrot and gourmet restaurant.

Liz (10/5): A little slice of heaven! - Very friendly, warm welcome from the staff. The food was top quality. Our suite was so comfortable with access to the pool from our terrace. The feeling of being pampered in such a gorgeous location was wonderful! Nothing!

Malgré un hôtel à priori complet (pas de possibilité de late check-out), le personnel a l’air en sous effectif en dehors des heures de repas et il est compliqué de se faire servir sans devoir se lever à nouveau pour demander à la réception d’appeler quelqu’un. Pas tellement digne d’un 5 étoiles..
PASCALE (7/5): Bien mais pourrait être beaucoup mieux avec une rénovation et plus de goût. - Le restaurant et sa carte , l’accueil sympathique et proche du Client . Les salles de bains et les chambres doivent être rénovées pour être digne d’un relais château et d’un 5 étoiles . Pas de cohérence au niveau de l’art qui décore l’hôtel.
