- Lee (10/5): We loved our stay at Mr. Jordaan and would definitely consider this hotel on future visits to Amsterdam. - This was a beautiful hotel in a very fun area of the city that seemed to have so many things to within a very short distance. We loved the daily breakfast and having a full-featured coffee machine available 24/7. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The room was quite small, including the small bed.

De douche, super klein en badkamer ook, wc bijna tegen de muur geplaatst aan je linkerhand, dat je niet eens goed kan zitten. Bed zeer klein en keihard.

- Morgan (10/5): Very thoughtful accommodations - This hotel is WONDERFUL! The location is great because it’s close to everything, but still quiet. The staff is beyond welcoming, the rooms are well appointed and all the details are thought through. The lobby has games and complementary drinks and we spent hours hanging out there. They were willing to hold our luggage until our departure and they were so thoughtful with every detail!

We were lucky to receive an unexpected free upgrade upon check in! No complaints here! There are a lot of stairs if that’s an issue for anyone, but there is a very small elevator.

The room was easy to find since it was on the first floor. Gummy bears were delicious. The bed was comfortable, and the water in the bathroom got hot quickly with great shower pressure. The room was connected to the stairwell and across from the elevator bank, so we heard EVERYTHING. people coming up and down the staris and people unloading from the elevator. The bathroom was right above the kitchen. We could also hear what happened there, to the point where we could hear the kitchen, even clearly when someone dropped a dish and it broke.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. All of the little quirky touches and amenities (coffee machine, candy, pastries in lobby) made our stay so fun. It's not cookie cutter or corporate at all and we love that. Lift is super slow, but we always took the stairs. This was fine for us, but would be difficult for anyone older or with any mobility issues.

Honnêtement, c’était un placard, sans aucun apport de lumière naturelle (la chambre donne sur une cour de la taille d’un dé). La salle de bain, une catastrophe également. Impossible de prendre une douche de plus de 2min sans que la pièce soit totalement inondée. Je n’ai jamais subi un rapport qualité prix aussi déplorable. A FUIR.

The very slow elevator made a loud buzzing noise in our room. It woke us up at night but fortunately only once. Other times it was early enough that we weren't sleeping yet. If you're a lighter sleeper or concerned about noise ask to be far from the elevator. We were in room 54. The rooms near it would also be affected.

Centrally situated and many places easy walk away . Good restaurents and bars close by . Busses and trams closeby , makes visiting non central attractions easy . Great breakfast at a very reasonable rate . Communication with hotel was impecable , they kept me updated right up to day of my visit . Would highly recommend this hotel . One must see atraction is Anne Frank house , which is a mere 6 minute walk from hotel door.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Jordaan, perfect for walking around Amsterdam, close to cafés, shops, and major attractions, yet still quiet and charming. The staff were amazing. A special mention to Jasmine, who welcomed us warmly and helped us with everything we needed from the moment we arrived. Also Ines, who was working the next day, both were friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Even for a short stay, the service and atmosphere really stood out. Highly recommended, and we would happily stay again.

- Kadidja (5/5): Great, only stay if you don’t mind a reception staff that is rude and lacks compassion. - It is very clean and comfortable. Great bathroom. Great location. The staff needs to learn how to communicate effectively and respectfully. They do not communicate with compassion. Their approach and attitude takes this place from a 10 to a 5. No matter how great the hotel itself is, the customer service truly ruins it. From not being shown the elevator after checking in to having a man knock on my door to yell at me that I need to go downstairs to change my key card. Overall really great hotel, but I wouldn’t stay here because of the customer service experiences.

- Richard (10/5): Quite nice as the room, location and staff were wonderful. - Location was great and your staff was exceptional. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was also quite good. The stairs after the elevator on the second floor were challenging for me with my need for a cane to walk safely. My problem not yours.
- Suzanne (7/5): Great location - The property is in an excellent location. Full of bars restaurants and great shopping. Easy to walk to all the major sites. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very small. We had a twin room and the single beds were the smallest I had ever slept in.

- severnmaster1 (10/5): Fantastic hotel - We had a fantastic stay at Mr Jordaan.. from the moment we walked in until check out we felt welcome and warm. The staff are amazing, really friendly and happy to help. There’s lovely gestures throughout the entire stay which again create a really lovely feeling. The atmosphere is great and the location is spot on, walking distance to everything we needed! The rooms are very nicely done, comfy beds, clean bathrooms and all smelt great when we arrived. We will definitely be coming back - thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
- Molly (10/5): Fantastic hotel - We had a fantastic time at Mr Jordaan. The staff were really welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is in a wonderful location, in a residential area near great cafes and shops. The room was designated well, very comfy bed and great bathroom and facilities overall. We will definitely be returning.
