• Arpana T (6/5): - Everything was good, except few things. No facilities for food, tea or parking, which is extremely inconvenient. Had to pay for parking outside the hotel. AC settings were not correct, due to which AC was not cooling at all. Later the staff corrected it. But in the meanwhile a lot of time went waste without AC. It is supposed to be confirmed and corrected by staff, at the time of checkin, before the guest arrived. Also lighting inside the room was too less, and not enough at all.

• Anders (10/5): A very nice small hotel revisited - I visit hotel Celi every year and it is as good as ever, the room has a lot of space and everything is working and location is perfect for my needs. I wished that the wifi was better and stronger

No proper power back up facility ( they have power back up but not enough for hotel ) most of the time power cut happens as it's near to beach. Rooms are good and comfortable bit update need but according to the price range can't complain. No car parking ( but pay parking available walking distance ).

• Sandeep (5/5): Passable - The location was good,it is close to the beach. The rooms were not good,the walls were damp both in the room and bathroom, it looked dirty. It was raining and we asked for an umbrella which the staff was having, he replied in such a rude way that he needed it, even though we asked just 5 mins to get water from the next store. For those who are here to check the reviews before booking, please give a second thought,there are more good hotels in the same range. Advice to the owner please invest sometime to improve the quality of the hotel or shut it down..

They changed bedsheet after 2 days..Found lizards in room...No handwash.. Bedsheet and blankets are dirty and stinking bad..

• Maria (10/5): Good value hotel close to beach - My Partner and I stayed for 45nights from January till the end of Febuary, Hotel Celi was quite quiet, but on occasions you can hear music but only till around 10.30pm. My laundry was sent out and I got it back the next day ( Payment was no more than £5). Our room was very large with a fridge, two beds, wardrobe, celing fan, air conditioning unit and a TV, the shower room was large and the shower was powerful. The hotel celi was clean and well managed. All the staff were very helpful, polite and always smiling. Overall I would recommend it as a good place to stay if your looking for somewhere afordable or a base where you can leave your things and go and explore for a few days at a time. Please do not think this is a hotel with swimming pool or resturant or bar, because its not. This is a good value tourist hotel very close to beach. The fabric for the building and room was a little tired and could do with a little work done on it, but still good for what we paid. No bottled water available

Staff was helpful and rooms were big and spacious and comfortable. No tea or food available if u are really hungry. But u can order online and eat so thats a plus.

Also the guys from the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Thanks. The rooms are tidy and the floor is clean, but the rooms need to be whitewashed and the walls repaired. Otherwise ok.

• Sebastian (10/5): This is where I will always stay if I am in Calangute - I chose this hotel based on the good reviews that I had read. And I was right to do so. The staff were always friendly and ready to help if I needed anything. My room was spacious with an en-suite bathroom, a fridge and a television, fan and air conditioning. Importantly for me was that it was a 15 minute walk to the beach but at the same time far enough away from the beach so that I was not troubled by the noise from the night clubs after nightfall. The hotel is also very accessible. If you are coming on the Paniji to Calangute bus it is just 2 minutes walk from the last stop. The hotel is near to the shops and restaurants. I will always stay here if I am in Calangute. It would be difficult to beat this hotel for value for money. Nothing
