Sheets were clean comforter stained. Smelled of gasoline. Staff was nice. Check out giy very nice and apologetic. Worked for a night stay where we just needed a bed for a few hours.

There were stains on the bed and bedding, the outlets were either broken or corroded, the showerhead was covered in something unidentifiable, the walls were chipping, the lights flickered and didn't stay on. It was disgusting and horrible. Not at all what the pictures showed or the description given on their website or Expedia's. Extremely upset. We refused to stay.
• Zach (2/5): I will never stay here again. - Checked in around 945 pm, went straight to room. Opened the door and the room smelled like an ash tray. AC wouldn’t turn on. Shower head spewed water all over the bathroom while taking a shower. No water pressure in sink. Dust covering almost everything in the room. Cob webs throughout the room. Noticed stains on the walls. There was no battery in the smoke detector. Could hear everything from all the other rooms around us late in to the night keeping us up. I will never stay at this hotel again.

• Nicole (6/5): It is what it is… - We have stayed at the facility on multiple occasions and had great experiences. This time around it was meh, just ok. Our room mini fridge was leaking water due to the thick ice that had built up in the freezer portion. We told the front desk who assured us it would be replaced. I ended up defrosting the fridge and cleaning it. We came back from the concert and it had not been taken care of. I used a towel to clean up the water and it was black. Obviously the floors have not been mopped in I don’t know how long. Please wear shower shoes or socks. Dust and hair in the bathroom floors. Carpet was dirty. Could have used a few more towels in the room. The beds needed bigger pillows than the toddler sized ones that were provided. Smoke detector had no batteries.
• Stacy (4/5): - I was simply, a dump. The building was old, and a lot of the residents seemed like they lived there. My first room smelled terrible. The carpet had not been vacuumed, and there was animal hair everywhere. I went to the desk and they offered me another room. The room was much better, and I stayed only because it was me alone, and not me and my wife. My wife would have wanted to leave immediately.
• Marcia (10/5): Looks are deceiving - We were concerned when we pulled up to the front of the hotel because of the way it looked. But we were pleasantly surprised when we went in our room. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioner worked great with the temp being 92 degrees. Check in was also great.

• Jessica (2/5): - Really outdated and gross. Ceiling was falling in over the shower and pieces of it were laying in the tub. We laid on top of the blankets because the room was so nasty. You could tell the door was kicked in because all of the trim was broken and then just painted over. There was mold in the window sill above the AC and the room stunk of mildew. Walking up the stairs outside the platform leading to the second set of stairs sunk as you stepped on it, we were scared we were going to fall through. They require $100 deposit but I don’t know what damage you could do that would be more noticeable than the already poor condition of the building and room.

It needed vast renovations in our unit stunk of smoke and pet odor and we never in the four days we were there had a housekeeper come by to replenish or clean anything and had to go request towels every day the four days we were there
• John (8/5): Indianapolis - Room was good for the pricing and they allow you to check in early for a fee-$30 ( got there at 6:30am. No stores to walk to, but room had fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Next to freeway for easy car access.
• Lisa (8/5): - Air conditioner was pretty noisy and stopped working randomly many times. The room was decently clean overall and the fridge worked fine. It was slightly difficult to find the turn in as there isn't really a sign. You get what you pay for, it was a cheap option for a stay.

And then when we got to the register, he charged us an extra $125 for a holding fee that was never mentioned online and we are still yet to get back. If you could choose any other hotel, I implore you to do so. This hotel was absolutely disgusting.

I asked the staff to clean the room they told me to use toilet paper and to clean it I promise this is not a joke. The place itself was a joke never again will I stay at a place like that again poor service.

• Emily (6/5): - They never refunded my deposit even after telling me on checkout they would. It has not been refunded to my card. The staff were ok but the building needs maintenance. I had to be moved to a different room because either the key card or the door itself would not work. The long term tenants are the ones who are not following leash regulations and not picking up after their dogs making the limitedly available grassy areas disgusting. Either the rules need to be enforced or the hotel needs to have someone going and cleaning that up because it’s a breeding ground for bacteria. Several other people there for the same dog event as me were appalled at how the long term tenants would just let their dogs rush out their rooms with no leash, crap, then go back. Meanwhile, we were careful with our dogs and cleaning up after them.
• CORY (2/5): - All rooms (including non smoking) smelled very strong of smoke. My clothes even smelled of smoke when I left. The towels were horrible. Could hardly get dry with them.

This is an older hotel, that has not been redone and does need a lot of maintenance. We felt safe, so that’s not an issue, but there is a long list of repairs needed

The only good thing about this place was a front desk clerk. The room was overpriced because of a Swift concert! They should have known better to do so..we should have known better to do more research before hand

We asked for additional towels and were told we needed to return the dirty ones first. After reminding them we have 4 people not 2 they did bring more. We actually didn’t even use them to shower because of the condition of the bathroom. Each night we returned there was a strong smell of marijuana in our room. I call the front desk because I wanted to make sure I was charged the $200 smoking fee. He came right down to the room and told us everything was fine and it was OK. While the facility itself was below average the staff was friendly.

The chair at desk area was very old, vinyl was pealing off and unsafe to sit in. A coffee pot would be appreciated in the room, rather than a hair dryer! Water pressure at sink was almost nonexistent, although in tub the pressure was fine. The bathtub was stained and needed cleaned. I understand the room/motel is a low rated one, but really I wish the owners would take more pride in thd property! Most likely not to stay there again,unfortunately there wasn't any other options of rooms in the area.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Horrible check in experience - Place was ok. Low budget & offered the bare minimum. Charged high security deposit. Desk clerk/manager was rude. He kept asking if I had pets. I sd NO. He asked if I had cat. He asked if I had dog. No pets, I explained room for adults. A US soldier. He sd I dont care who it's for. I explained I already paid for room for humans and I don't have pets. Then he sd OK then U can stay. The crazy thing is this location takes pets and charges a deposit and pet fee so I don't understand what the issue was. We had just gotten off a plane and didn't have pets which I explained to him
• F (6/5): - Reported an issue with front office about leak, was advised by management if we said anything else about. A leak we would have to leave. Maintenance said he fixed issue all he done was caulked around tub however we have video and pics of issue that was never resolved. Also asked double bed during atya and was told we stick with one Queen bed. A couple staff members were very nice however management very rude , disresp ctful, don't care about guest issues or what damage to guest property occurs but I'm already begin legal action

• Amanda (2/5): - This motel was a joke. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in terms of a place to stay. We tried to check in at 9:30 PM and they told us that the room wasn’t ready yet, when check-in was at 3 PM. They told us to give them 20 minutes and they would have a room ready. In less than five minutes he called us and told us it was ready. Got to the room. Floors had not been swept. The shower had not been clean. The bedsheets had not been changed. There were bugs in there. There was a spray on the wall that smelled of a heavy perfume to try and cover up the smoke scent is what I believe. We picked up our stuff and went to a nearby hotel and didn’t even bother staying.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Better than nothing - This was not our first choice, by far. But Indianapolis was very busy with races at the racetrack. We needed somewhere to stay. Red Rood Inn was only ok, and I hope we never need to make this choice again.

The sink faucet needs to be looked at (hard to shave with a trickle) but the shower was good. I would stay here again.

Front desk acted like he didn't believe us! He came up there to "show us" it was locking. By standing inside and bolting it. But we were not inside. We were leaving our stuff. Showed him I could push it open and we were given a third room. It didn't smell great, but at least it didn't smell like It had been smoked in recently, like the first one! We were going to a show at the Ruoff Center and missed the opening act due to this!

We were told by the person working the door that if we paid cash, he would return it in cash the next morning at check out. He would not provide a receipt for the deposit either. Said they just wrote it down. The next morning at check out, he tried telling me he would put $100 back on the card used to book the room. After a little arguing with the employee, he finally released the $100 in cash as he previously stated he would. Service was terrible.

• 483rjb (2/5): Do not come here! - Go anywhere else but here!! The room absolutely reeked of marijuana. I stayed for 2 nights and never saw any cleaning services. The towels were all stained with something black. The room was disgusting and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I actually ended up cutting my vacation short because of the state of the room. I called corporate and they called the property manager and got back on the phone with me and basically said “the property manager said you aren’t being truthful”. I came straight home and washed everything. I haven’t seen any evidence of bed bug bites, but I’m pretty sure I got athletes foot from the shower. EDIT: Corporate reached out to management and basically replied back to me to let me know that I was being dishonest about my review and said there was nothing they could do. I have reported this to the BBB

• Gary (2/5): - This place is horrible noise all night the smell of weed coming in my room. Very poorly maintenance. I wouldn't pay 20 dollars a night to stay there again

• Terrell (2/5): The worst experience ever! - The up-keeping alone has been neglected. Room booked wasn’t as the description described. First room smelled of cigarettes. Then requested another room which he was very helpful with but wouldn’t accommodate with an upgrade for the inconvenience. On top of that the 2nd room he moved me to had a very heavy pet urine odor that was unbearable. I guess what should I expect from a Red Roof Inn
• Nina (2/5): South of the Boarder - Every room surrounding me was occupied by multiple single mexican men, speaking Spanish very loud and stomping around at all hours of the night!
• Sean (6/5): - Seemed to attract riff raff.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusting, smelly and gross - Disgusting accommodations. Smelled, dirty room and completely unsafe. We ended up going to a beautiful hotel down the street and did not stay at this property. We showered immediately after getting to a proper hotel.

• Fartun (8/5): - I wish they would put in their website it’s a $100 deposit wasn’t the best room in the world but it was quiet somewhat clean a few flaws for a successful small business/company they should probably should fix up the rooms the bed was ripped on the bottom they tried to cover it up the rug had a nasty smell to it the bathroom door in my room was broken on the bottom like I said wasn’t the best room in the world but it was pretty quiet uhh I didn’t really get any room service (housekeeper) the staff or the owners were pretty nice but overall I would suggest it if you are on a tight budget like me otherwise idk get a hotel
• Hugo (4/5): - I had my do not disturb sign on the outside of my room door and the house keeper still knocked and woke me up
