Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - very spacious, clean, and quiet.
- William (4/5): Unfortunately not a great option - This wasn't the worse hotel I have been in but definitely a top 3. It was easy parking and accessing the room. It did have a nice sized apartment/dorm fridge. Smelled like mold, appeared to be mold in the bottom of the dresser drawers which I would guess was 30 years old and the only furniture in the room. No desk or chairs. Not sure what "Night or Day Shift" signs were about. I had to sit on the bed to tie my shoes and was unfortunately grossed out. Didn't stay the night and took the 4 hour ride home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay - It’s just a very nice and friendly place to stay!!! Been staying there on the weekends while my new house is getting ready!!! Due to my husband working out of town and coming in on the weekends it makes it nice to get out and not have to clean up after anyone!!! It’s been a nice reset
- Karey (10/5): Charming - Beautiful
- Matthew (10/5): Love it - Beautiful, accommodating. Home away from home!
- Sharon (10/5): Low key excellence - Housekeepping very helpful. Check in easy. Read how to lock door on outter side.
- Mary (8/5): Clean and convenient - Everything was clean and comfortable. I got a text at check in time with my room number and key code for the door. We were out by check out time and never had to interact with anyone else. Perfect for a quick trip to town to visit a relative.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The door to the room was not secure, no deadbolt lock, and it was loose. No staff at the building the rooms were in. Very basic room, we didn’t get fresh sheets or bathroom towels.
- Larry (8/5): - New and modern. Compares to rooms I stayed in at brand name hotels.
- Christopher (8/5): So close to Dunkin Donuts - AC did not work, so I could not block out the DD drive thru noise outside the window. No soap.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel close to activities we came to Montrose for - The hotel also had shift workers from the shale oil companies staying there so there was noise during the night because of the different shifts.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - On the positive side, the hotel is clean and there are a lot of signs hanging up giving instructions about how things work. I also received a text early in the morning to let me know how to get into my room. In the negative side, this property isn’t a hotel as much as it is a boarding house for natural gas or quarry workers (or workers from other industries). We booked a stay because we were visiting a sleepaway camp in the Poconos, but when we got there, we realized that we needed an extra set of sheets for our child’s air mattress. But we found that the property had no staff on duty and it was difficult to reach the manager on the number provided to call. In addition, the lock system is a numeric code, but the bolt wasn’t very strong — it would have been very possible to kick open the door. We didn’t feel safe staying overnight in this environment with a child, so we relaxed for a while in the room and left that evening. To be honest, we would have stayed if the lock had been more secure and some extra linens were provided so that we could sheet our child’s air bed.
