Guest Reviews
- Julia (10/5): - Staff was amazing!!!
- Joanna (10/5): - Clean Room, comfy bed and friendly staff. Included a hot continental breakfast 👍 coffee was good as well!!
- Patrick (2/5): - The price was reasonable, but the service was terrible. I arrived late at night and had to wait about an hour outside the property. There was no one at the front desk, so I had to contact Expedia for assistance with checking in
- Alberta (10/5): Excellent employee! - This the first time I booked here and I recommend this hotel to others. The manager on duty did her job with pride and she needs a day off. A very personable lady. She knows her job and knows to treat her customers well. She said that she's salary employee but sometimes you need a break and have a nice day off.
- Melissa (10/5): - Quite and clean. Perfect place to rest up before continuing your trip.
- Sarah (10/5): - The room was clean, it was obvious some things were a little bit worn and old, but clean. I was extremely exhausted from traveling, I called shortly after I booked the room seeing if I could check in early so I could just sleep. That was not an issue at all, they were very accommodating. I would say it’s definitely a safe area, it’s part of Navajo nation, I would stay there with my children if they were still young, not too many amenities, but the surrounding area is beautiful and it’s safe. Nice big complementary breakfast in the morning. I was able to park right in front of my door.
- Kelly (10/5): - Great staff. I loved the welcome goodies bag❤️
- Gary (10/5): - Nice place to stay
- Bradley (8/5): Good quick stay - Big parking lot for truck and rv : breakfast
- George (10/5): - This was the best kept low cost motel I have ever stayed in! The staff does a great job keeping it clean. This should be the standard of all motels.
- Gerald (4/5): - Would recommend better quality place
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very clean and comfortable! - Rooms were very clean, no funny smells, everything worked, breakfast was better than expected and the reception lady was very pleasant!! Excellent choice!!!!
- Debra (2/5): - The website said it was pet friendly….it was not
- Gary (10/5): - Very nice place to stay.
- Myra (10/5): - This property is so clean
- RON (10/5): - Clean - quiet - comfortable beds- good breakfast. No complaints.
- Steven (6/5): - Basic and no frills
- Martha (10/5): - Convenient, clean, comfortable
- Victoria (10/5): - Very quiet
- Erica (10/5): - Mary was such a breath of fresh air after traveling multi states. She was kind, funny and made our check-in a breeze. Place was nice and quiet, plenty of parking especially for our moving truck. Room was clean and spacious.
- Raleigh (10/5): Super Clean Property - Best property in the area. It was super clean and has fresh paint. The hot breakfast was amazing. I'd definitely stay there again. It was well-worth the money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just OK. - Check in was seamless. Room was ok, but there was a gap in the only curtains to the room that faced the street/front- no sheets either. The tub was damaged/worn. Didn’t feel “clean”.
- Mirelle (10/5): - This was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve stayed in. The bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly. Great place!
- Kimberly (8/5): - Our room was decently clean, air conditioning worked, beds were comfortable, hot water in the shower was great. Breakfast was a very limited selection so we found food elsewhere, but I think there were waffles there. Would stay again for the price and comfortable beds
- Angelica (10/5): - Nice for a nightb
- Daniel (8/5): H - We went for a family funeral. The place is basic. People were friendly, BUT; NO ICE MACHINE, ants in the bathroom, Taolls were rustic and with satins and grey...TIME FOR NEW ONES. The tub leaks all night and a lot. Breakfast??? also very basic. OK, I guess. The place is safe. AND OLD like the rest of all the hotels... been in almost all of them.
- Sharon (8/5): - Pricing was good, very adequate for overnight on the road and comfortable bed. Unfortunately whoever was staying above us was fairly loud talkkng and laughing..thought they were moving luggage, but realized they must have been rolling all around the room in the wheeled chair..no carpets, so was noticeably loud..both later in evening and aftet 5 am.
- 942loisp (10/5): A Perfect Road Trip Stop - Friendly service at check in. Thank you Yvonne.
Spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds. Perfect overnight stay for our road trip. It is situated not far from Flagstaff, Arizona.
Be sure to try the Chinese restaurant across the street. Mandarin Beauty is the name.
- Mario (3/5): Never again - The staff wasn't unfriendly. I had to pay an additional $35 pet fee, which increased my total cost by a third, and we were three adults. That wasn't an issue, but for that price I'd have expected a clean room and some quality of the level of other brands like Quality Inn or La Quinta. However, the room bedding had some spots on it, the bathroom was a bit dirty, and the air shaft closing fell of the ceiling in the bathroom. Other places I stayed for the same price were much cleaner and more comfortable. This hotel also had the highest pet fees among all.
- Chanel (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean
- Michael (7/5): Good - Easy access.
- Valerie (6/5): Pleasant - Room was remodeled not too long ago so it was decent. Did get a good night's sleep. Not too far from National Park. Ice machine, washer and dryer were not operational. Breakfast was very lackluster. Staff did not refresh food that had run out. Hotel didn't get good marks and it lived up to that.
- Jewel (7/5): Good - The beds were comfy and the air conditioner worked great. The breakfast was very satisfying. The bathroom was so cramped in with the shower. My body size is not small, so it was difficult to maneuver in the room.
- 464penelopej (10/5): Beautiful & Clean Econolodge - A very clean property with fresh paint and tasteful decorating. Friendly staff and hot breakfast. Definitely worth the money.
- Nancy (10/5): A clean comfortable room for the night - Just needed a clean inexpensive place for one night. Econolodge fit the bill.
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Edward (6/5): Just passing through. - Met our needs to sleep and get back on the road. Can tell the owner is making an effort to make this property the best it can be. Older facility with small but clean rooms. Air conditioner was very loud.
- Janet (10/5): Friendly staff - Friendly staff and a nice breakfast
- Logan (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, had bread and bagels, eggs and sausage, waffle maker, and cereal and yogurt options. Great stop, good service!
- Erica (10/5): - Really nice staff
- John (6/5): Be aware of the situation - I've stayed at this motel before without any problems. Room was clean. Staff were nice. Breakfast was decent.
But since I stayed there last the place has changed. It appears that some rooms are being offered on an "extended stay" type basis.
There was a group of folks who had taken over part of the parking lot as their "outdoor area" with tables and chairs. And they were outside playing loud country music well into the night. The front desk manager said they are regulars there.
In fairness, I was relocated to a room much further away from that group and the noise was tolerable. But I'd make sure to check out the situation upon arrival.
- Diana (10/5): - Car backed right up to my room…so easy to get in and out.
- Maryah (10/5): - Was super easy checking in and out, breakfast was convenient and good!
- Stephanie (8/5): - This is what I consider a budget hotel, which the low prices give away, too.
For that I was surprised how nice the room was. It looked nice, updated, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and had nice sheets.
The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. It was old and tiny and toilet and sink were so low, like made for minions. With that said, it was still very clean. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good, comparable with most hotel chains.
- Joanne (6/5): - Reserved this hotel because they had laundry factors, broken down had to find a neighboring laundromat! zYV wasn’t working right front desk ( Mary) got it working for us,then before bed went to turn the heater on for the night-not working,Nary came to fix that. For the price we for the room didn’t feel it was a good value at all, compared to the other chain hotels we gave stayed at the previous 7 days,
- S4853PIdebbies (10/5): Great room Great price - Mary at the front desk is so friendly and very accommodating. She always makes sure I am on the bottom floor knowing how much I must carry. The bed was new and very comfortable. Great TV and very clean rooms! I stay nowhere else when in Holbrook. The price is unbeatable as well.
- gail e (8/5): Small toilets - Bathrooms are old and toilets are very small and to the ground. Need to be upgraded. Beds were very comfortable.
- Riley (8/5): - Would stay here again!
- Jake (7/5): Good -
- Sandra (6/5): - Nice staff and loved dark "makeup" washcloth provided. Rooms need updating , faucets dripped, bathroom door wouldn't stay closed.
- Grant (10/5): - Very friwndly and helpful staff.
- Robert (10/5): - Very relaxing.
Nice Staff.
- Vasil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Don (10/5): Good respite - The facilities were decent, the only inconvenience was heater kicked on and off noisily. But, the heater worked well.
- Stan (3/5): Poor - Easy access There was no internet. The HVAC was louder than the TV.
- Pat (10/5): - The lady at the counter was very friendly and a pleasure to speak with while checking in.
- Julie (8/5): - Clean and tidy motel.
Staff very nice.
- Brian (10/5): Great value, clean & comfy - Great friendly staff. Comfy bed, lots of hot water in shower. Nice breakfast with extra touches - hot chocolate, cranberry juice and lemon juice for tea.
Will stay here again.
- Michelle (10/5): - Easy stop for one night.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (6/5): - Property was good value until hit with $30 pet fee when checking in. Used "pet friendly" filter on Expedia site, but no mention of pet fee... only stated "all taxes and fees included.
- Myra (7/5): Wonderful. - Free breakfast waffles were delicious The waffle mix already in fresh. IWILL BE BACK FOR .MORE.
- Companion62908735205 (10/5): Excellent service - The staff is great, The housekeeper Francin is the greatest the RM smells so clean. The parking lot is always clean. The hotel is quiet and clean. They have been very accommodating with us and our business needs. Would very highly recommend to anyone staying in the Holbrook area.
- infogirl51 (10/5): Look no further! - If you’re on a budget & need a place to get a quick 8 hour sleep that offers a decent breakfast on weekends , this is Your Place. The staff is friendly , the room is clean , the bed is comfy. Oh & there’s good water pressure in the shower & it drains properly too! It’s actually handy having your car directly in front of the door to the motel. The tv is not large- but that’s not what we were there for. Great location too!
- David (10/5): - we arrived very late, and upon arrival I thought that we had made a big mistake being that from the outside it's a motel with outside doors....but we were wrong! The rooms were spotless, and the staff were very courteous and kind. Sometimes you can't judge a book by its cover, and that was the case here. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- Hendrika (8/5): - Clean, good breakfast, perfect for a night
- Matanel (8/5): - The room was very clean and conveniently located. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept onThe continental breakfast was good, clean and very much appreciated.
Only feedbacks for improvement are — the sink had a drainage issue taking a while to drain properly, that likely just needed some care and the shower hardware can be updated.
- Bradley (10/5): - Smooth check in, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and good coffee. Plus a great value.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly reception, nicely decorated breakfast area.
- Ora-Lee (8/5): - A good place to stop for the night for the price. Room small but clean. Comfortable bed and nice TV. Breakfast basic, has a waffle maker, toast and cereal. Overall good value for the price.
- Sarah (8/5): Would stay again! - Really nice stay close to the Petrified Forest National Parl. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was very good. Lots of options and even a hot breakfast! Would definitely stay again!
- Robert (10/5): - Very friendly people the room was very nice comfortable and clean the one thing I did not like was the way they make the bed with a quilt rather than a light blanket
- Jeannie (10/5): Great place- 99% excellent. - Accessible from car, clean, plenty of accessible outlets and USB connector by bed. Good breakfast. Tub paint treatment was cracking off and the drain area was rusty and crumby.
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Teresa (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (1/5): Bad - Everything
- Clinton (8/5): Great place for the price! - The front desk lady was calm and nice. Hotel beds VERY comfortable. And the old brick walls protected from any noise that might be going on next door. The first morning the coffee was weak. Breakfast room too small. And the air wasn't turned on before we arrived. Also, had to plug in and turn on my refrigerator.
- Rocky (10/5): - Don't be fooled by the exterior of this hotel. At first glance, it appears old because it is BUT the good news is inside is beautifully restored and most importantly SPOTLESS! Excellent stay. Felt safe and clean. Once you are in your room, it's as nice and clean as any Sheraton. Surprisingly great room.
- Karn (7/5): Good -
- Steven (8/5): Good value for buck - Cute little place. The furniture (chair) was very very dirty but all else was ok. Old interior but ok for price. Breakfast was ok as well.
- Amanda (10/5): Holbrook motel - It is in a quiet location, and a very nice room with a breakfast. Have stayed before and would stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not stay here again even for the low price. - Check in was ok once the attendant arrived. Had to wait 10 minutes for her. Toilet ran on and off all night long. Air conditioning was very loud. They must not have carpeting on the second floor because everytime the person above us moved we heard it. And they sounded like they were running a marathon all night long. Tub was pitted. Molding missing. Bathroom door hits tub. Ants in bathroom. But I guess you get what you pay for.
- Bbennett90 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (10/5): - This was a wonderful stay from Mary’s friendly check-in to the comfortable bed and the freshly made breakfast.
- Janet (6/5): - The air conditioning unit is too loud so we turned it down and it didn't stay on.
- Ruby (10/5): - The staff was friendly and courteous. She did not get inpatient when I could not find my credit card. She finished the transaction in a hospitable manner. It was very nice to have a person be hospitable while doing their job.
- Carol (10/5): - It was a very pleasant stay and the breakfast was nice.
- Lyslie (10/5): - This is a great place to stay. Staff is very helpful. Even found me a coffee pot! Breakfast is great. Easy on and off the highway and close to dining. Door Dash works too!
- Linda (8/5): - The front counter staff was very helpfull and courteous.
- Golden (10/5): - The facility was very clean. The staff was so nice and welcoming. This was my second time staying at this hotel.
- Tamara (9/5): Superb - Nice, safe location. Check-in was fast and attendant was friendly. Room was clean. Wood floors. Linens were soft and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was free and served eggs, sausage, waffles, and pastries along with juice, milk and coffee/tea. The a/c unit was a little loud and would wake me up in the middle of the night.
- Rebecca (8/5): - It was pretty average. Nothing amazing or awful. But it was a decent value for the price.
- Keith (10/5): We were given our room promptly and the room was very clean and quiet ! - The front desk was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was very good !
- Kim (10/5): Friendly staff will recommend - Cleanliness N/A
- Daydream29690526967 (10/5): A choice hotel points reward room. It was worth it. - My wife was thrilled with how clean the room was. She even walked barefoot on the wood floors. It was a welcome stop after a long day of driving. My wife and I are on a 50th anniversary trip. We were happy to find a nice place to stay close to The Petrified Forest.
- Mark (10/5): - E-cono Lodge had upgraded the facilities since i had stayed there last very nice and clean quiet and convient !!
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good -
- joycefG3146YO (4/5): We left an hour after checking in. - The room is clean and adequately furnished, and the staff is pleasant, HOWEVER:
No coffeemaker in the room,
No breakfast until 7 am on weekends,
The selection of TV channels is minimal and pathetic.
We decided not to spend the night, despite the fact that there would be no refund, and left.
