• Darwin (10/5): - I have used this facility a few times before as it is close to my Brother-in-laws's nursing home. Convenient & a breakfast is also supplied. Great place for an overnight accomodation.

• Peter (8/5): Beautiful area and close to Devil's Rock, which was our reason for visiting. All in all pleasant . - breakfast consisted of a copy of an egg mcmuffin and a coffee. Nothing special The young lady at the check-in desk was very pleasant despite some computer glitches beyond her control at check-in TV was impossible to get operating, but to be fair, we didn't ask staff for assistance. We got the last room which came with a small double bed which was cramped and uncomfortable for 2 adults. Had a room with 2 double beds or a queen bed been available we probably would have been quite satisfied.

• Cristina (5/5): It was the most basic room that did what it was supposed to. A place to sleep. - Breakfast was the most basic egg sandwich and coffee. Honestly nothing to write home about. Location is great. Bed was not the most comfortable but it was fine for one night. The room could have been cleaner. Lots of spider webs and the floor could have used a better sweep.

• Purvis (3/5): Roach Motel - They gave us our money back. Was great shape a few years ago. BUT NOW...... Cockroachs in the room. Pulled sheets back on bed and long black hairs in bedding. Plug in heaters in room. Was there as a group for hockey tournament. We all left as group to the Holiday Inn.

• Jo (6/5): Good location, inferior rooms - Location Furniture old, cheap, hand made. Chairs dirty. No hair dryers in rooms. No liquid soaps or hair washing materials available.

• Pete (8/5): Great location and worth the money. - The staff person was quick to check us in. She also made the breakfast which was good. It was in a great location right along the water. The room had good facilities including a microwave and frig. Also it had a seating area which had a coffee table and couch. Breakfast was good. You put in your order at the little cafe and took away to your room to eat. It was good though. The waterfront was across the street and it would be good in the summer for all ages to swim and use the beach. The room was a awkwardly shaped but fit good facilities. The bathroom was tiny. I was not able to figure out how to turn on the heat as it was cooler at night. There is a specialized electric heater which looks like a radio, and it would have been good to include some visible instruction on how it worked.

• Lounsbury (4/5): Good motel for the price. - View is amazing The room was not cleaned well, there was dog food and a piece of dirty laundry from the last occupant on the floor. Did not receive any kind of discount for the poor cleaning.
• Ghislain (6/5): C'était correct, mais je n'y retournerais pas..! - L'emplacement est bien situé, mais c'est un vieux motel...., et ça parait..! Le personnel était gentil et plein d'attention. Le petit déjeuner n'a pas été servi même s'il était inclus dans le prix, et on ne nous a pas proposé autre chose en compensation..; on nous a fait comme réponse que le poêle était brisé.., juste eu droit à un café..; de plus, la propreté laissait à désirer, les coins sont tournés ronds..! Par rapport aux autres établissements que nous avons loués (6) durant notre petit voyage, celui-ci était le plus dispendieux rapport qualité-prix..!

• Frederic (10/5): - It’s everything I was looking for. The beds are a bit old but aside from that very the motel is very clean and the check-in was easy, friendly and smooth.

• Christine (8/5): Meh - The waterfront, the view. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest...toilet, tub surround. Communication was not the best. I also received a call the week prior asking me for my credit card information over the phone. They said they couldn't get it through Booking.com. I felt very uncomfortable giving them that over the phone.

• Amber (8/5): - Normally, I would rate this place a 5 star stay across the board, Ive stayed several time at this particular motel, but I wasn't as happy with the accommodations this time around. That being said, I was lucky to find any accommodation at all as late as I did, and only got lucky because someone had checked out early. Most issues this time around were small (like the cable), as was the accommodation, but I would, absolutely go back and stay again. The owners/staff are wonderful and you can't beat the view at any time of day. Sun up, sun down and the stars over the lake are breathtaking!

Right in the middle of where we were visiting friends (Cobalt) and yet had to travel to New Liskeard. Breakfast was good. They whipped up some breakfast sandwiches fairly quickly. For the state of the hotel/motel, pricing could've been better (cheaper). Rooms even when the front desk said housekeeping were just finishing up our room, were dirty with pet hair. There was pet hair on our sheets, pillows and sitting area. Floors could've been cleaned better as well as there were dust bunnies throughout. The air conditioning in room 14 looks as though it may have spots of mold in the unit.

• David (8/5): - The area is FANTASTIC! Great location. Hotel rooms are dated but clean. The front desk staff are alittle difficult to work with. Breakfast included consists of egg with ham Or sausage on an English muffin and cup of coffee. Would definitely stay another time.

• Verified traveler (4/5): So dirty wouldn’t go back. - I was booked for 6 nights and only stayed for one - debated for a refund. Stains on all 8 pillows, short black hair and dirt in the wrinkled bed sheets, toothpaste crusted on the green towels, garbage under the bed and so much dirt on the floor I had to wipe my socks off before I put my feet on the bed. They argued the floor was vacuumed yesterday until I showed them pictures and offered to sweep the floor and bring it to them.

Breakfast was provided Paying $25 extra x 5 nights for a small nonshedding dog (under 20 lbs) $125!!! Room was never cleaned and bed was never made - so the $25 is a cash grab ;-( it used to be $10 Coffee was included but was rather weak and would be nice to have a choice of bun for the complementary breakfast

Baseboards were dirty, floor around the toilet had accumulated dirt, cobwebs in many corners and dental floss from previous client was left on a window sill. Complimentary breakfast was a breakfast sandwich. I stayed here many times, this time I was disappointed. Will not be going back

Free breakfast was an English muffin with egg and bacon and hash brown. Was good for me but if someone wants something different they have to pay for it. Not like most places that offer a selection of breakfast options with feee breakfast. Bed comfortable. Couch was not comfortable. Quiet location. Pet friendly with a fee. Owner was very nice.
