- Sharon (7/5): Great apart from the bathroom! - Two large bedrooms with comfy beds. Plenty of storage space. Kitchen well equipped and clean. Nice dining and seating area. Good location to access local amenities. Had to pay for parking but not too expensive and very near to the apartment. Bathroom was unacceptable, mould on shower head and shower screen. Looked like they had tried to clean the grouting and sealant around the bath but you could still see mould in it. No heating in bathroom so very cold. Flusher on toilet felt as if it was ready to break. Bathroom needed a complete overall, can only describe it as being bleak. Stairs to one of the bedrooms very steep, more like a ladder, may be difficult for some people to climb.

- Gavin (10/5): - Me and my girlfriend spent three nights here with our dog Cole, we stopped in 'Copenhagen' which was absolutely perfect, its on the ground floor and has a back door leading to a small courtyard at the back so our dog was able to go in and out when he wanted in the evening. The apartment itself was modern, well fitted, lovely and clean with everything you could need right in the town centre of Ulverston, parking was great too, directly outside the back door of the apartment, so no lugging our bags up the street. Diana was fantastic too, really attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had with no qualms. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again, we all left having had a stress free and lovely time. Many thanks from us x Nothing negative to say at all ☺️

Communication from the host very good and made it easy to access. Could have done with some accessories in the bathroom like hooks for towels and toothbrush holder, but that’s being picky.

The bathroom was very tired and needs some tlc, there was black mould around the shower screen and bath which was off putting. The front door to the apartment was extremely sqeaky and noisy. The sofa and chair in the lounge had stains on and felt dirty which again was off putting. The floors were creaky and the stairs up to the top bedroom were extremely steep. In general the place needs updating. We were paying for the location.

Kitchen well equipped. The extractor fan did not work in the bathroom. Decorations pillows on beds were stained. Living room chair covered in stains. The whole apartment was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was covered in mould on the shower head and the hose to the shower head and grout exceptionally tired. There was a set of death stairs up to the attic bedroom which are extremely narrow and dangerous. Walls were stained in the bathroom. The apartment was covered in dust on most surfaces. The whole apartment needs a really good clean. The floor is exceptionally noisy and i feel extremely sorry for anyone who was below us. The amount paid for the property was not reflected in the property. Management really needs to change the cleaning company. This was the Helsinki apartment.

Just disturbed sleep with doors keep opening with people going toilet in night . & the wooden floors . Got a phone call 2 hours before check in to say one of the apartments was double booked, but Diana did sort it quickly & located us another one. Just spoilt it a little bit because this meant 2 of our friends wernt in the same apartment block as the rest of us. But they weren't too far away. & diana kindly refunded 50% off the apartment that was double booked. But mistakes happen & we would gladly stay again

First time we have stayed anywhere that doesn’t have wine glasses. Disappointing.

Great location, clean and comfortable, with parking at the rear of the property £6 for the day and free overnight. We travel with pets so are allocated a ground floor suite with a small outdoor yard area, which is great for the dogs. Diana, the host is on hand for anything you need. We will be back again on our next trip to Ulverston! Everything was great.

- Paul (10/5): Fantastic New year in the lakes - Fantastic location within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in Ulverston centre, mini supermarket also on the doorstep it’s in such a perfect spot. It has great facilities and is decorated really nice throughout. Two small gripes and they are very small, 1) There was only 4 small tumblers and a Gin glass - could do with wine and some Decent pint glasses; 2) it was very noisy especially the apartment above - I know the owners can’t help it but with 3 apartments in the building you can hear everything in the other 2 apartments!

Car park round the back was very handy. All very clean. Lovely spacious shower. No wine glasses which I was very surprised about. Took a bottle of moet as it was our silver wedding and nothing to drink it out of. Lack of mirrors, nothing in the bedroom or bathroom. No where to hang your towels in the bathroom or toilet roll -

- Ewart (9/5): very good apartment - This was a new experience for me, being not a hotel or villa, but a town centre apartment, so I didn't know what to expect, although the photos on Booking.com provided enough information to make the booking. Apartment was surprisingly spacious, with modern decor, very clean, quiet and comfortable and located on one of Ulverston's streets with a minute walk to shops for provisions or pub/restaurants. Living room and kitchen were very well equipped and relaxing. Bedroom was cool and bed was very comfortable.

- Elizabeth (9/5): Comfy base for exploring The Lakes - Lovely place, just as described. Excellent communication. Would definitely stay again. Radiators were set to max 22 but rarely got above 19 downstairs, so it was on the chilly side. Stairs to attic room are extremely steep. Fine for a fit person but would be problematic for someone who is older, unsteady on their feet or for a young child.

- Michael (10/5): Great little apartment close to the beautiful lakes - Easy to park, easy access, super clean inside - all round lovely. The shower door was so clean my wife walked into it :)

- Layne (10/5): Just wonderful! - Easy to get to, very clean, complete with towels, bedding, tea/coffee. Easy location from which to travel the Lakes. TV, kids games, free WiFi.. Home from home! Stronger shower! But not a showstopper! The bathroom was clean and well kept!
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful place to stay in Ulverston. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants yet quiet at night. Car parking is adjacent to the property. Easy access to the Lakes and only a short drive to Barrow. I've stayed twice for work and will definitely be back. Nothing.
- Hollingdale (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts definitely, and pretty much everything else. Only downside was the uncomfortable sofas in living room.
