- David (10/5): - Everything. The rooms, the landscaping, the pool, and especially the staff. This is the o ly place we stay when we come to North Port. Nothing.
- spinelli (9/5): Fuuunnnn - The motel was great it exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and the unit was clean and comfortable Nothing
- Galina (8/5): -
- Webb (7/5): - There was no breakfast.
- Lanorris (10/5): - I love the staff and cleanliness and I love the pool me and my girl friend really enjoyed 😉 ☺️ the pool A complimentary breakfast would be nice like a coffee ☕️ bar and some muffins or cereal and oatmeal with some fruit for the breakfast I'm sure the guests will be very appreciative of that 😀

- Theodore (8/5): I just needed a place to crash close to where I working an event for the weekend. It was pleasant. - It looks like they just updated the room everything looked new. No breakfast, just coffee & tea. The grounds could use an update.
- Jeremy (1/5): awful services and roaches - nothing it all was awful service and cleanliness
- Danyelle (9/5): Excellent, an look forward to stsying there again! - The property was serene, tropical and full of wildlife! -

- Helen (6/5): Overall, we learned to enjoy it but I think it was overpriced for what it offered. - The pool and garden in the courtyard were very nice, as well as the sitting area outside on the patio. The large birds from the nearby sanctuary dropped in for a visit a few times and walked by the window. Rooms are spacious with a funky ceiling and a book about the science of self-realization in the nightstand's drawer! But - the blankets were thin and the nights were cold during our stay. Even using the second blanket from another bed was not enough. The floor needed to be washed, not just swept, it was dirty to the touch.
- heidi (8/5): Would recommend. Clean, kind staff and unique property. - Loved the old school feel with the new updates. Nothing
- Robbins (10/5): -
- DAVID (1/5): -
- John (2/5): Rooms could have better more comfortable beds and furniture. - Management responded quickly when we called about noises from adjacent room . Small doors and shower. No coffee in room. The door opening could be larger. Place coffee maker in rooms.

- Williams (8/5): Nice room with comfortable beds and fridge freezer and microwave !!! - Room was clean and had a fridege, freezer and microwave !!
Worked perfectly..... nothing i didn't like !!!
- Navigator750645 (2/5): AVOID AT ALL COSTS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
The management here is absolutely abysmal. I was there to check in to see if this motel had any real merits, giving the place a chance based ongoing to go with the old Florida vibe. I did not get past the front desk. The aggressive man at the desk was self described as the housekeeper. I have a legitimate service animal (no, not an emotional support animal). This animal saves my life on a daily basis. He refused to allow us to stay unless we paid an non refundable 100 fee. He said they required a Doctor’s note or one of the fake downloadable pet license. He was filthy with a stained tight sweater and greasy slicked back hair. He spoke fine English when I initially came in and then said, “My English is no good” His lying skills were on point. Creepy as heck. I will be reporting this violation of my rights to to proper authorities. Please read all of their reviews and believe what they say. It is a bug infested, disgusting establishment. There are so many better, unique places to stay. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this disaster.

- Phillip (10/5): An excellent experience reccommended to all who wnat a blast fropm the past. - A genuine retro experience. The 1958 properety features extra large rooms and extraordinary architecture. This was from a time when a motel was a base of operations and people stayed for extended periods. Motels today are built for one night stays andd generating profit, not fort the experience. The staff was most friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and reccommedd it for a unique experience. There was nothing that we did not like!
- ty. (1/5): Never again - Came to check-in and was checked out within 10 minutes. Manager had disgusting attitude when I asked him about the broken locks. NO other guess was their which is quite strange. I will never set foot in this dump again. Came to check-in and was checked out within 10 minutes. - Dravis (8/5): - Friendly staff. Clean
- Oleksander (3/5): Место хорошее, рядом с озером. Бельё грязное, холодильник не исправен, стены покрашены веником. Всё депрессивное кроме п - Ничего Бельё грязное и старое как в тюрьме
- barry (1/5): We could not stay here and immediately requested a full refund from both the hotel and bookings. Bookings has not yet fo - The manager was very nice and friendly, they didn’t speak much English although he did not understand our concerns as far as not being comfortable staying there. I do not like giving bad reviews so I all I can say is that this motel was not for us. There were several down on their luck looking people hanging around outside that made my wife uncomfortable and the room and surroundings did NOT match the pictures!
- Claudia (1/5): -
- Kevin (6/5): -
- Daniel (6/5): - Customer service. Friendly. Toilet bottom was dirty. Chairs were dirty. Towels weren't white.
- Juan Carlos (9/5): -
- biljana (10/5): - Perfect
- Heather (10/5): - Great place. Close to sprongs
- Terry (2/5): Sadly, Not coming back! - A sleeper coach had no bedding. They were very quick to deliver the bedding. I have been staying at this Motel for 20 years. This was the worst by far. The hot tub was full of broken cement. The gazebos had rotten wood and junk laying all around. Very dumpy!
- Stanislav (8/5): - Clean room, shops near by, coffe maker at request.
- Lemmon (6/5): -
- BECKY (2/5): - What you see in the photos is definitely not what you see once you arrive. It’s dirty, mold on walls, the pool was green, you could tell it had been months since it was cleaned. We had to cancel upon arrival because there was no way we could stay. Simply disgusting.
- Robert (10/5): - Close to mineral springs and a water park for children:)
- Eduard (2/5): - dirty rooms dirty toilets and showers. I advise you never to stay in this place. waste of time and nerves
- Joyce (10/5): Joyce - Great customer service rooms comfortable, mostly clean.
- Tammy (10/5): - I just fell in love with this place. I thought it was so adorable. It was built in the 50s. It would look like it was from the 80s. The rooms were really cute. The pool was closed and the ice machine was broke due to the hurricane but the property is very well maintained very mature Landscaping rooms were clean. Parking was easy location was perfect. It was secluded yet. Everything was close by only 56 miles away. I would definitely stay there again. I would give it probably about 2 1/2 almost 3 stars. I just really enjoyed the experience. The warm mineral water spring is close by 20 minutes. Walking two minutes driving there’s good restaurants, dining bars, twisted fork, and Anna Maria oyster bar and Grill is close by. There’s a Publix Dollar tree all within I would say five or 6 mile radius I would have to say it’s a musty place. If you’re looking for adventure this is a good place to go yet. It’s peaceful and quiet.
- Jason (4/5): - On the positive side, the AC worked well and the mattress was comfortable. The room was tired and much worse condition than the pictures. It smelled moldy and all the linens were stained and worn.
The grounds are a bit of a disaster. There was lots of debris from previous renovations in the courtyard that had been there for a while. The hot tub was destroyed and the pool was a very deep shade of green. I think this could be a nice motel but it needs a lot of work.
- Richard (6/5): - The pool and spa are not working. The landscaping is not as beautiful as the pictures the website pictures They do have smart TV's but they are blocked. I had no ability to open any apps. The internet has a password but my iPhone said weak security, so I turned of my WiFi.
The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean and large.
- beckybC9574OP (2/5): Don’t go! - Don’t go! Looked nothing like pictures on their page. It was filthy. Couch had been covered as it was old & dirty. Sliding glass doors, filthy and hard to close. Chairs had mold, refrigerator was old, dented and not cooling. No coffee pot, not even a paper cup. Air read 79 and wouldn’t cool. The pool water was green with algae. Manager was rude. I have 12 pictures as proof.
- Eva (2/5): - No comments.! This place needs major remodeling. Furnitures, windows have broken glass, dirty couch, chairs. Everything is very old. The only thing that was new was ac and cooling great. Not a vacation spot motel. I know they have been through a lot, major hirricanes in the past few years and a fire last year, but still they should replace those windows and put newer furnitures. It's a very old motel that could be transformed into a cozy place with some money and effort. Of course the pool is not working.
- Sarah (8/5): Florida hotel stay - Short but very nice stay, comfortable and convenient to sites , would stay there again.
- Donna (10/5): - Very chill
- Rimma (10/5): -
- Joseph Antonio (10/5): - I wish some of the room still had the skylights. I loved the garden, but it needed some more attention. I wish the pool wasn’t closed. All in all, it is very nice for a motel and the staff was top notch.
- Martel (10/5): Nice people - Nice people
- Happiness25075466830 (2/5): NO POOL- DIRTY PLACE- Do not recommend at ALL!!! - NO POOL- motel under construction and no TV- no internet- dirty and bugs!!! Wouldn’t have stayed the 1 night but the front desk said to stay and speak to the manager Harry the next am- which I did and he was very unprofessional and rude stating that all places have bugs and had no concern about the dirtiness of the room and he said they tell eve that the pool is getting resurfaced which is 100% untrue - I have pictures to back up everything I complained about- DO NOT STAY HERE
- Sonia (2/5): - Property under construction and no pool, dirty towels, bugs, rude property management,tv not working!!! I would never stay here- seriously run!!!!
- Tammy (8/5): - The room was awesome and clean, very roomy. We would stay again. The pool wasn't open which would have been nice to know, I understand they were doing improvements, but they should put on the website the pool is under construction. Cant wait to see the improvements done.
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (2/5): - Overall property was in disrepair. Pool was empty. Spa was a green algae science experiment. Rooms were dated with very little upgrades. No coffee maker and the floors were dirty enough to soil your socks. Pictures on the website have not been updated in years and give a false representation of the property. Will never go back.
- garygH8289UG (2/5): WHAT A DUMP - This place is a DUMP, checked in and was told pool is broken, came for the pool and hot tub. Checked out the room and it was disgusting, went to office and checked out. Please keep my money and update the place. Hampton Inn by Hilton just down the road. You will be happy
- Tussing (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was super friendly!!! The pool and hot tub were not usable.
- Morton (4/5): Disappointing - Mold on the ceiling
The shower was small and the water pressure was low
No access to the swimming pool
- Jovan (6/5): - Drove 2 hours to this location pool and jacuzzi not working verry dissapionted
- Mraz (3/5): Poor -
- Getchel (1/5): BAD - Check in and check out This place is a dump....checked in and checked out the room and pool. Pool was not usable due to it leaking and hot tub was not usable. Patio had cigarette butts all over and ash tray was full of water. Based on that we checked out and went to a chain hotel.
- Steph (10/5): - N-a
- Salema (1/5): bed sheets and sower Dirty and disgusting. Room is bad smell cigarettes -
- Charles (8/5): We enjoyed the location to the Warm Mineral Springs, and the thoughtful and friendly staff. - Very nice room and clean accommodations. No cups in the room to make coffee/tea.
- Narsha (8/5): - The front desk person was polite and very helpful in resolving my concerns with reservation.
- Joann (6/5): - The pool nned a good clean but we used it. Lots of organis debris. (flower petals, bugs etc)
The jacuzzi was closed with a sign from the health dept. It was green green! Awful. The area uround the pool was run down, part of one cheeki was burned, some chairs broken etc. The room was clean however. Investment needed in landscaping and repair
- Dahiana (2/5): - The property and room were terrible condition, the bathroom was dirty and disgusting, the beds sheets had mold
- Zlatina (10/5): - Great staff ! Great customer service! The rooms and outside needs some organization !
- Peter (6/5): - Both the pool and the hot tub closed by department of Florida but there was no mention that they were not available. And we were really looking forward to access to the pool. The room was decent, clean and had a little kitchen area which was nice
- RICHARD (4/5): - Needs updates
- Larisa (10/5): Nice place to stay - This hotel is family owns !!! We stayed every 6 month!! We can see a lots of improvements!! Freshly painted, a new appliances, comfortable beds, a new bedding !!!! And very nice people!!
We will stay here again!!!
- Taylor (4/5): - Pool had health dept sign on it and hot tub was broken which was entire reason I booked this hotel
- Justine (10/5): - Loved the vibe , loved the food forest and invitation to call nature in . Can’t wait to come back when the Pool renovation is done !
- William (1/5): Bad - the fact that we had no water no toilet no shower and could not get no refund very disappointed
- Guido (6/5): - Poor facility
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Jerusha (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Kitchenette was great.
- Glenn (8/5): - The sliding glass door did'nt close properly and the room lighting was sub-par and there were no tissues in the bathroom. I was also disapointed that the pool was unkeep but is suspect that these deffiencicy are a work in proscess
- Timothy (6/5): - Everything was good and then I go to get in the shower.....No hot water
- Hanna (2/5): - Cockroaches
No towels
Roof personal especially cleaning lady
- Tresha (4/5): - Cute vintage 1950s hotel within walking district of the actual warm springs. Must dip at the Springs, its rustoc no frills warm springs, but is thereaputic. Take a float, not for kids to run about in.
Now this hotel is a historic site, refurbished. Clean rooms. Cute remodel on bathroom. But dated curtains. Sadly NO HOT WATER and a disingenious response from owner. Internet failed, only good for phone, not laptop. Cute patio. Go if you want clean, streamlined, no frills.
- SONIA (2/5): - Unfortunately, the photos in this listing are not accurate of what this place really looks like. We checked into our room and noticed immediately that there was some kind of dark substance smeared across the front of the comforter. I pulled the covers back and saw various types of hair, seemingly woven through the fibers of the sheets. there was a dead bug of some sort in the bathroom cabinet as well. We went to the front desk, told the older woman working up there, and she seemed very upset by this information and moved us to another room. We walked in there with hopes that it would be clean, and as I pulled the cover back, I saw what I think might have been dried blood on the side of the sheets. The pool and hot tub were out of order as well. There were potted plants on the shuffleboard court. The general air of the place was despair and despondency. The rooms have been repainted and decorated nicely, but I am really disturbed by the fact that they can’t seem to properly wash the sheets. They gave us a refund and we went on our way. I was very disappointed because the architectural style of this place is what drew me in.
- Sadie (10/5): The room was clean and comfortable, with a perfect distance to Venice Beach and other activities we enjoyed inland. I wo - The room was clean and comfortable, with a perfect distance to Venice Beach and other activities we enjoyed inland. I would definitely stay here again!
- Deborah (10/5): - Friendly staff- clean and quiet room- close to the Warm Springs and to shopping areas.
- Mary (2/5): - Our room was very musty. The pillows and spread were stained. The shower never got warm. It could be nice, but it needs a lot of work
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good place - It was good, I'd stay again
- Howard (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rocky (8/5): Very good -
- Justin (3/5): It was horrible, but I managed it. - It was close to the church I was attending while there. The property had no pool or spa as advertised. Those were condemned. No staff to answer questions or they were too careless in answering questions unsatisfactorily. The bathroom shower was also far too small and overflowed.
- Carly (9/5): Superb -
- James (4/5): - I was really excited to stay in a award winning bit of history yet renovations are not complete....I wish them luck
- Larry (2/5): - Stay away!
- Michael A (4/5): Amazingly, no bugs!!! - Staff was very kind and accommodating. Room was bug free, but there was a damp rid on the closet shelf. Never a good sign. I was there 4 days and no housekeeping. They just changed out the towels daily. Shower needs to be recaulked, pretty gross. Counters in living area were dirty, kitchen had a dirty hotplate and a few odds and ends, all dirty. There were a few old condiment packets in the kitchen drawers. It is not a full kitchen. The tile floor was so dirty that my white socks and feet turned black. No mopping for sure. Full refrigerator was nice. I paid $179 per night and saw it for $159. I went there for business and only for the location which was close to where I needed to be. Also, water is very hard. Good water pressure and hot water, but it was 5 AM. The smart TV works but the WI-FI is terrible. No ice machine, no tech in the rooms such as any USB ports. Pictures on Hotel.com are outdated.
- Luzviminda (4/5): - The property was 3 mins to Warm Mineral Springs which was nice however the water was yellowish. When we arrived, thought the toilet was flushed but then when I flushed again it was really yellow. Turn the faucet and collect water in a cuo and it was also yellow. The staff told me it was because it is well water. I don't believe that. Also the ceiling had a littlw worm and some parts of it has some molds.. i understand this is an old motel but for the price thwy are aaking for it daily, they should at least maintain it in an acceptable condition.
- Jany (2/5): - Do not waste your time.
- John (4/5): - Damp and moldy smelling. Shower stall base covered in rust.
