• McKinley (3/5): Did the job, but wasn’t pleasant or worth the money. - Convenient location. Room was filthy when I arrived. Wardrobe doors were covered in dried up liquid (almost like a soda exploded when opening). Shower drain was completely clogged. Carpets were stained. Previous guest hair was left in bathroom.

• F9119NSpatriciam (10/5): London Time - As soon as we approached the main doors of the hotel, We were greeted by Mihail. We were welcomed and spoiled as soon as we arrived. Please ask for him if you get the opportunity to have an amazing concierge. We had a wonderful stay. He suggested several restaurants that were within walking distance of the hotel. The rooftop bar was open also. Julian served us and was very kind and personable. Would have gone back but they do close at 6 pm, but there are several areas in the hotel to enjoy a drink if needed. Bowling and swimming are some of the other options. The room was clean, shower temperature was nice and the bed was very comfortable and the stay was perfect for me. This was the best hotel during our excursion in the U.K.

No flavour hash browns cooked with an inch of life. All do it yourself not even fresh coffee. All in containers so luke warm. Only one robe and one towel in a two person room, the bare minimum facilities in the room drinks wise.

Alle dører til garderobeskap var så skjeve at det påvirket funksjonen til dørene. Vaskepersonell fjernet håndklær og såpe fra rommet uten å erstatte de gamle. Toalettpapir gikk tomt uten at vaskepersonell fylte etter. Dårlig utvalg av mat til frokost. Lys til sminkespeil og tørkestativ for håndklær fungerte ikke.

• Lizzie (7/5): Overall very pleased and would happily stay again. - Great location for where we needed to go , rooftop bar was lovely and quiet too, we never made it to the pool but were very intrigued to try. As we arrived by car this wasn’t the easiest to navigate and as there were temporary traffic lights right outside that we were not aware of it made it harder to be able to enter the hotel to check about the parking - being told in advance would of been much appreciated as we did already message the hotel to tell them we would need a parking space , also the fact that their parking wasn’t available we had to used alternative parking but still pay the same charge , it would have been nice for a deduction for the inconvenience .

Even though they had already taken a payment (and not refunded it), and they didn't message me in advance to tell me they wouldn't have room for me so I could make other plans. Their solution was to offer me a dirty room (curly hairs all through the shower upon arrival) in a hotel 45 mins across town.

• namritag2026 (10/5): Fantastic stay for my 40th birthday celebrations - This is the second time I've stayed at The Courthouse hotel and it hasn't disappointed with it's amazing service. This time I stayed with my husband and friends to celebrate my 40th birthday and the staff were so helpful and accommodating with my requests. A big shout out to Bhanv, Jasvir and Mihail for their warm and friendly welcome. They went out of their way to make my birthday weekend special. I will definitely be coming back to stay for a third time - thank you all so much!

The hotel is a converted court house with a beautiful decor inside and oozing character. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I mean incredibly helpful and knowledgeable too, a special thanks to Riya (Reception), and Mihail (Concierge) for just being so attentive. The Courthouse has a great roof garden area and pool, as well as a relaxing bar and lovely breakfast area. The rooms are spacious with great facilities. I can't recommend this hotel enough, and you'll definitely want to come back again, as we will. Enjoy.

• Clairevc1 (10/5): - One of the best hotels I've stayed in within London, we came for an event and this was the chosen hotel and we can see why. Everyone was just so welcoming, especially Ralfi and Aly who need massive praise. The rooms were big and comfy, good food and a beautiful spa. There wasn't anything bad I could say about this hotel and our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed staying and we will be back again. The only tiny thing we didn't like was the jacuzzi bubbles were on constantly rather than on a timer, although they are lovely, they are noisy so 10 mins with them off would be nice. This is only a minute detail and does not ruin the hotel at all.

The reception staff were very welcoming and checked us in very smoothly. The room and communal areas were very clean. On both evenings we returned to the hotel around 10pm and there was no-one in the bar. It felt quite dead and there was no atmosphere. The bar staff were lovely though and chatted to us. We were surprised when told if we wanted to use the bowling alley, there would be an additional charge of £45 per hour.

This put us at a disadvantage and gave priority to other guests. This is not in keeping with the information on the website pertaining to late check outs. Upon arriving back at the hotel in the early hours of New Year's Day we were informed that the only way we could have a drink at the bar was to buy a ticket for the event being hosted in the main bar! We were not told about this in advance and the hotel details state that they have three bars in total! Our room was not made up when we requested it to be and a repair to the shower was not completed during our stay. I complained at the time and was told that the Duty Manager would speak to me however this did not happen until check out and then I was kept waiting and was only spoken to when I asked if I was wasting my time by waiting! I was advised to complain in writing which I did do. I was offered a discount on our next stay, which initially I looked at availability in March but when I enquired about February due to a change in our circumstances no body replied to me. It has now been weeks as we stayed from the 30th to 2nd January. We wanted to spend New Year in London as we had spoken about it for years. We decided to go all out and stay at a more expensive hotel and celebrate in style. Sadly this was not the case. We will not be staying there again, with or without discounts.

The staff were absolutely exceptional - warm, friendly, they upgraded our room and were very informative. The room itself was generally very clean, large, good temperature, very peaceful and the view was lovely. The games room was superb and really made the stay top tier. The pool closes too early. As there's a lot of facilities, it's difficult to experience all on a short term stay - perhaps 11pm or midnight would be a better time.

• shaunaghw2026 (8/5): Spa and hotel stay x1 night - Stayed at the Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch with my boyfriend for my birthday. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a massage booked for 11am and wanted to use the gym and spa before. But check is was at 15:00. They kindly allowed us to check in early. The hotel is within 10mins walking distance from bars and clubs so was really handy when staggering home at 2am! After a heavy night the staff gave us a complimentary check out for 13:00 rather than 11:00 so we were really grateful. We had dinner at the Jailhouse bar/ restaurant. Food was ok, nothing special. But we got 20% discount. The spa is ok, the area around the pool is very small. We enjoyed the massage, but I have had better, speaking from someone who has one quite often. My partner doesn’t have them often and he loved it. The staff gave me a huge slice of chocolate cake for my birthday complimentary which was lovely. Overall a good stay, I would stay again, because of how convenient it was to the bars and clubs of Shoreditch. Shout out to the reception team Riya, Amat and Fariha! They were lovely and accommodating!
