It appeared the bottom of the liner had been cut and it barely fit in the shower. Also, the handle to the closet was falling off. We may consider staying elsewhere next time.

- T (6/5): Not sure you get what you pay for in Bay City - I've stayed in several Marriott courtyards in different parts of the world and they have always been great but this location had very poor customer service from every member of staff. The hotel seemed to be running on a skeleton crew and over the three nights I stayed there not once did housekeeping come into the room or replace anything. The breakfast menu prices were ridiculous especially the $13 dollar avocado on toast since I could cross the road and pay $13 for a lobster eggs benedict! The room and view was nice, the uptown grill across the road had great breakfast and the beds were comfortable but I would not stay here again. I would prefer going back to the double tree down the road and pay the $30 price difference.

- Kirsten (6/5): Maybe don’t have brand new staff working a holiday - The rooms were spacious and beds/pillows were very comfy. It had a large bathroom with good supplies. The shower floor was a bit slippery and had to be carefully navigated. Now the negative-almost every time we needed help, staff members told us that it was their first day/week and didn’t know the computer, procedure, recipe, etc. It got to be a running joke it happened so often! Thank goodness for the manager who had to wear many hats! The ladies’ restroom on the first floor needed some serious attention and the smell of weed around the property and on the 2nd floor was overwhelming at times. It’s a lovely hotel in a beautiful location and I might give them another chance, but I’ll ask questions first!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - The bathroom was slightly dirty with shoe prints and random hairs but it did look like it had been cleaned. The desk failed to tell me about pool, fitness, or breakfast hours.
- Jann (10/5): - I loved the river walk and being able to get in my early morning jogs outside rather than on a treadmill.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Short walk to Riverwalk. Nice pavilion area on one side of the river and a beautiful public park on the other side. There are paths along both side of the river for a scenic walk/bike ride. Plenty of places to eat. Went on a Sunday so a few things were closed (Planetarium, Wenonah River Cruise). The one thing we found odd were the electric scooters everywhere that you could rent ($14 for 1/2 hour) but you CAN’T ride them on the sidewalk. Not sure I’d want to ride them in the street.
- Tiffany (10/5): Beautiful stay! - The staff was super friendly! Clean rooms, comfy bed, nice pool, beautiful views, within a walk away to the water and various restaurants. Even after checkout they let me keep my vehicle parked in the lot so I could walk the pier and visit shops all day.

- Aleksander (4/5): In Room Concert - Room was nice and fairly clean, but a restaurant across the street has live ourdoor music from 6pm - 9pm and makes the room unusable at the time to due noise. Wanted to relax before dinner and heard Frank Santra songs for the entire time. Wouldn't stay here again for this reason.

- Gary (8/5): - Liked having an end unit on the second floor. Did not like the heavy footed guests in the room above us, we were in 201. They stomped around until after midnight and then continued their heavy footed activities early morning. No human should ever have to stomp so much, no respect for other guests.

- Mark (10/5): - This Marriott property is very nice! The rooms are quit spacious and very well appointed! Cleanliness is top-drawer! The staff are super friendly, accommodating, and very helpful! I was in the city on business and the free WiFi is quite fast and that was a good thing! There is a Real Seafood Company right next door, so that's big "thumbs up," as well! Highly recommend this hotel when you're in the Bay City area!

- Donna (10/5): Will stay again - I forgot to request hypoallergenic bedding, but when I checked in they quickly prepared a room for us. The staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet and clean. The room was spacious and the shower was nice. There are plenty of dining options in the area. This was our first visit here and will stay again next time we are in the area.

- Gary (8/5): - Our room had a wet area of the room floor emanating from the AC. Front door was a slider and it needed servicing and our room was on the second floor above the door so all night whenever the door opened or closed it sounded like someone was dragging a metal can across our room

- Gwendolyn (10/5): Nice Stay - Everything went extremely well. A Nice, clean, and comfortable stay. Except I could hear people walking around upstairs over me. It didn't stop until after 11:00 pm and started again around 7:00 am.
- Agustin (8/5): Overnight trip - Second time in a month I stay at the property. I was impressed the first enough to book a family stay there a second time. I really liked the location of this property. Eateries literally a block walk from the property.

- Agustin (8/5): Nice property, walking distance to food and fun. - The property was nice. Looks new and modern as well as around the property. $10 extra for breakfast was a little disappointing. Walked around the corner and found a nice breakfast/lunch place. Literally a 10 yard walk to the Riverwalk. Pizza place, Ice cream, seafood place, and a gem I found Sushi Mix with bubble tea. Starbucks 1 block away. Room was big and clean. Really good for the price I got for 2 day during the week.

- Amy (10/5): Beautiful hotel and location - The location of this hotel near the river and restaurants was perfect. We booked this hotel last minute as the hotel we were supposed to stay in was unacceptable. It is modern, clean, the beds were comfortable and even though were our room was very close to the lobby it was quiet. We appreciated the microwave and mini fridge. We did not use the pool as we did not plan on swimming (due to change of hotel) so I cannot comment on that - but it looked nice and we hope to use it when we stay here again in the future. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Kelly (10/5): Great stay! - Excellent service. Small hard-working staff went up and beyond for guests especially during a busy time with the Bay City Parade. Accommodated us in every way including a very late check out so a baby could nap. Rooms were great and kids enjoyed the pool. We will be back for another stay.
