- Mateus (10/5): Great weekend away in a cabin in the Welsh mountains - Our stay at Siabod huts was amazing. Beautiful location, cosy wooden pods, and great hot tub that the host would ensure was hot when we arrived. The host, Menna, was very nice and had great communicaiton with us throughout our stay. She also offered us a breakfast option which was delicious. Definitely recommend!

- Alex (10/5): Amazing hosts that made us feel so very welcome, the huts were beautifully kept and amazingly comfortable and homely. A - This property is amazing, we loved everything and were so surprised that our stay included all of the huts. Each hut having its own unique purpose making for a relaxed and comfortable stay indeed! The only thing we didn’t like is we couldn’t stay for longer!

The only neighbours you have are sheep . Tranquil serene perfection . Hot tub amazing . Nothing

- Anna (10/5): - Views, remote locations, comfortable bed, amazing owners, animals at the farm, fresh farm eggs
- lisa (10/5): Excellent value for mo ey - Excellent host was amazing Nothing
- Tom (9/5): I absolutely loved it - Just very quiet and secluded, exactly what I wanted. Having a loo in the Kitchen in such a confined space could be problematic if there is more than 1 of you or a small group
- Sunshine Queen (10/5): Wood fired Hot tub is a beautiful treat after a day hiking! - Location of the huts is ideal, fantastic views and very peaceful. Hot tub is a great treat. Breakfast delicious and host Menna so very helpful and friendly. Could ask for nothing more. Nothing
- Keri (10/5): Absolute perfection - We loved the peace and tranquility Loved everything about it , not one negative, it’s a little slice of heaven. Menna is so lovely too , she is the perfect host .
- Hazel (10/5): Highly recommended - Warm welcome, thoughtfully designed accommodation, lovely hot tub with stunning views, helpful host who was there if needed but didn't interfere, have already recommended to friends!
- Jason (10/5): - Everything . Wood fire hot tub a real treat. Going home
- Phillip (9/5): - Staff was amazing, and the views from the pods was exceptional. You have plenty of space, and there are stores a couple miles away.
- Alison (10/5): A beautiful rural retreat for rest, relaxation and peace and quiet. - The location was excellent with amazing views, very secluded and private. There were 2 shepherds huts - one was a kitchen and bathroom and the other was a little sitting room with a log burner. The bedroom was a spacious pod with a double bed and bunk beds plus another cassette toilet. There is a fire pit outside and wood fired hot tub. Fabulous! Menna, the host was very helpful and friendly and left us some eggs and biscuits. During the day we explored the local area and we spent evenings enjoying the views in our hot tub. I loved everything
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iain (10/5): Location absolutely stunning, stars at night were mind blowing and the silence was incredible. - Amazing privacy, well equipped, comfy bed and location simply stunning. Hot tub was superb. The stars at night really make you realise how much light pollution there is elsewhere - see how many satellites you can spot moving through the night sky. The silence at night was something else, never experienced silence like it (assuming its a still, clear night). 2 gorgeous puppies at the main farmhouse during our stay - huge bonus. Car parking a short walk from the accommodation - not good for forgetful minds like ours.
- Karen (10/5): We had a fabulous two days at Siabod. The huts were fantastic in a stunning location. It was peaceful and private with a - Lovely huts in a beautiful location managed by fabulous hosts. The home made breakfast delivered to us each morning was a very nice add-on. Nothing
- Claire (10/5): Perfect weekend away - Beautiful setting, amazing hot tub, a friendly warm welcome, perfection. Nothing to fault, loved it!!
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely fantastic, everything you need is provided. The pod and hot tub are beautiful. But the view is the most stunning feature. It's mesmerising.
The owner can't do enough to make sure you feel welcome.
Can't wait to come back again soon. Thank you.
- Moore (10/5): Fantastic value for money, lovely area and great views - We were welcomed in and showed around. Menna was around if we had any questions. The view was lovely, the whole environment was great and it was very private. Definitely would recommend and we will be staying again in the future! Nothing
- Ewan (10/5): A stunning base for a visit to North Wales - We booked Siabod Huts as a suitable base from which to visit three of Zip World's sites (10-35 mins away), but had we realised just how special Menna, her family and the location are, we would have planned a holiday there regardless!
Sure, we were truly blessed with the most stunning Spring weather, experiencing what several locals described as "this year's Summer", but as Londoners who get excited when the smog is clear enough to see The Shard, we were simply side-swiped by Snowdonia's sheer beauty, visible from every corner of the Siabod Huts.
You won't meet a more genuine person that Menna: Her advance communication was spot on throughout, from the moment we booked; very much there if you need her, but not needy.
The Shepherd's Hut, Pod and hot tub are gorgeous, offering a comfortable, clean, glamping experience with everything within easy reach. The carefully considered provision of cereals, local eggs, shortbread and condiments was appreciated after a long journey, as was the pre-heated hot tub.
Having initially wondered if we would miss our creature comforts, we became accustomed to the car charger, chemical toilet and coolbox way of living pretty quickly!
Whatever your reason to visit Llanwrst and the surrounding areas, or even if you have no reason at all, you won't regret finding the reason to visit Menna, her family and the Siabod Huts.
Until next time, diolch Menna.
- Helen (9/5): Superb - This place is like nowhere I've ever stayed, you're surrounded by lush green hills with incredible views of Snowdonia. The accommodation was lovely, hot tub was fantastic, and Menna was a wonderful and very helpful host.
- Lewis (10/5): Perfect hideaway with the BEST view - The views are amazing as well as the stars at night, menna the host was absolutely fantastic! Amazing communication and her and the husband are gems keeping the hot tub heated and topping up wood supply’s. Great facilities all round, will hopefully stay again. Honestly have no negatives, the place is great!
- Lucy (10/5): - The scenery was incredible, the quietness and tranquility was idyllic but it was still very local to amenities
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional - The setting was magnificent and the pods were comfortable.
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Every think menna was really helpful and everything.was perfect and I am booki g to come back again xxxx
- Sylejmani (10/5): It was nice and cozy and the view was amazing, definitely worth visiting !!! - The place was lovely the hot tub was such a nice touch the room is so nice and cosy and Menna was lovely and made things very easy for us
- Shen (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (8/5): Very good - The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The hut was very clean and had all of the facilities you could have wanted! The hot tub was amazing and we had the best relaxing weekend! The hut was very private and was so peaceful!
- Jones (10/5): Exceptional - Just everything. Siabod huts are like a little piece of paradise. Whatever the weather Menna has created the most cosy and comfortable get away whilst allowing you also to get your worth of nature exposure, surrounding by stunning Welsh countryside with picturesque views of the Welsh munros in the distance. The added touches and of course the hot tub made our stay even more magical. Nothing!
- Gail (10/5): Gail And Kate ( friends for life ) - Well i dont know where to start ! What a wonderful place , private , peaceful , a gem of a place with the most wonderful views . Our hose Edna could not do enough for us everything was just perfect . Everything was very clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay , free range eggs and shortbread biscuits !! The wood fire hot tub was the best thing ever , relaxing in hot water with a glass of wine with the most amazing views of the surrounding countryside . A hidden gem !!! There was absolutely nothing that we did not like .
- Thomas (9/5): The most Amazing host Menna, with beautiful views in a cosy little retreat. PERFECT - Host was amazing, with beautiful views in a cosy little pod Maybe plug sockets instead of usb but that is just if you’re being very fussy and caused us no problems
- Tris80 (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about our stay here was fab and exactly what we needed to recharge our social batteries! The off grid feeling was fab! Menna the host of these beautiful huts was lovely and so welcoming! She was there if you needed her but didn't bother you also! The bed was the most comfiest! The woodfired hot tub was ready on arrival! Thank you for a wonderful stay Menna! There wasn't anything we didn't like.. the sad part was having to leave and come home!!
- Leslie (10/5): An absolute gem of a clamping site. - Location, location action, location. Incredible views and Menna is a wonderful host. The hot tub with stunning views of the mountains and evening sunset was magical. Nothing.
- Jo (10/5): Absolutely Perfect - we will be back - The location is stunning. The accommodation is lovely and has everything you need. The bed in the new pod is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in! The kitchen is well-equipped. The hosts are so friendly and we had the added bonus of very cute sheepdog puppies coming to visit. The hot tub is great for getting in after a long day and the hosts made sure it was kept nice and hot for us. I have nothing negative to say however, if you're a nervous driver and not used to the countryside, driving down the narrow & hilly surrounding lanes may be a bit of a challenge
- Phillipa (10/5): A perfect winter weekend break - We had a wonderful winter weekend at the shepherds huts, they were so cosy and it was a very unique place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Menna was a great host, she made sure the fire was on for when we arrived and the hot tub was hot for when we needed it which helped in the cold weather! We had the cooked breakfast in the morning which was delicious.
We had booked the zip wire at penrhyn quarry which was only a 25 min drive away and would definitely recommend. Some lovely walks nearby and nice places to eat too!
- Savannah (9/5): Me and my partner stayed for a long weekend in November and had a lovely time in a stunning location. Despite the awful - The shepherds hut was so clean and cosy, with plenty of wood provided for the fire. Facilities were excellent with the kitchen well equipped and lots of games etc in the cupboard. Menna was so helpful and accommodating after having to postpone our trip originally. There was an issue with the solar power but Menna was very apologetic and provided us with plenty of lamps and offered a delicious cooked breakfast to make up for it.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (10/5): Amazing hidden Gem! - The host (Menna) was amazing! The location was perfect with unreal views! The only thing I would say is that the beds are not the comfiest beds. However, for us, it was just a lads get away and a base for climbing snowdon so we didn’t mind at all.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Menna was so lovely to deal with and made us feel very welcome. Such a unique experience staying in the hut and pod. Menna's attention to detail is superb. As a family of 5 we had a fantastic long weekend.
- Claire (10/5): We will definitely be returning to Siabod Huts and highly recommend it for a relaxing stay in the countryside! - Beautiful facilities and the most superb view over the mountains! The wood fired hot tub was perfect! The owner had supplied everything to make sure our stay was comfortable (including basic food provisions). N/A
- Aj (10/5): Little hidden gems! - The huts and the hot tub were absolutely gorgeous 😍 proper little hidden gem they are! Menna was the perfect host! Even got to meet little pup becu. 🐶 who we thought escaped from the kennels so put her back but she had not she just likes to be in the yard mum loved her birthday treat away will be back. X We didn't not like anything everything was amazing! Keep going x
- Verified traveler (10/5): Magical Stay - We stayed at Siabot huts for a couple of nights over the bank holiday weekend. We had the three huts (two adults and two families) and Mena set them up so that one of them was for sleeping in and one as a living room, which worked out perfectly.
The view is breathtaking (especially from the hot tub) and the whole weekend was magical. The location feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but actually only 10 minutes from Betws-y-Coed, where you can find restaurants and shops.
Mena was an amazing host and I couldn't recommend Siabod Huts enough!!
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julian (10/5): Perfect - Had a great few nights at Siabod Huts. Everything was perfect from location to Menna the lovely host. Sitting in the hot tub looking at that view is very special. Thanks Menna

Good Welsh breakfast.
Amazing scenery.
All clean with everything needed to hand.

- Julie (10/5): Amazing! - Fantastic stay, perfect location, lovely hosts.
- Nicola (10/5): Perfect. - We loved everything.....The location of the huts is spectacular with views of Snowden from the hot tubs. The host Meena was lovely, and had arranged everything perfectly for us. The kids really felt like they were on an adventure staying in pods on the farm, we couldn't have asked for a better few days away. We will definitely be returning.
- Katie (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had an amazing stay in the siabod huts. The huts were comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed for a special weekend away. The love tub was amazing and a really great extra. Menna was attentive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend the huts to anyone looking for something a little bit special.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Huts were gorgeous with a fabulous view, the hot tub was amazing and the fire in the hut made it so cosy at night. Menna was so lovely and helpful, she brought us fresh eggs (which were delicious) and had heated the hot tub for us on arrival and whilst we were out walking the next day. The location is great and close to so many things. I booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday and we had the most amazing weekend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hosts Menna and Emyr were really really friendly and helped us out a lot. Our son had a great time on the farm, seeing the lambs, playing with Jock and taking some rides on the farm vehicles. The breakfast was great and although we stayed in the farmhouse, we had a tour of the huts and they look amazing, with great views and hottubs! Can fully recommend the stay there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Tyddyn Du B&B Holiday - We stayed for two nights in August. It is a working farm so expect tractors, sheep, cows and other farm animals in the yeard.
The room is clean and spacious.
The service from the hostess is excellent
- Nicky (10/5): Homely stay in working farm - The farm was in a beautiful countryside setting . The room was comfortable and well equipped and even had cuddly toys for the children in the bunk beds . There was a large bathroom nearby across the hallway and a cosy breakfast room downstairs . Menna the hostess was very friendly and cooked a delicious breakfast . My daughter loved the chickens which roamed the farm and bottle fed the lambs one morning which was the highlight of her stay !
- Keith (10/5): Excellent location and huts. First class! - First class huts! Everything about this accommodation is excellent. The bedroom hut is comfortable and the wood burner makes it incredibly cosy. The kitchen/shower/loo hut is well equipped and so much better than camping in a tent. There’s a cool box with ice packs replaced daily. The dual ring cooker/grill is more than adequate to make simple meals.
There’s a cafetière and ground coffee and a good sized tea pot. All brew tackle (except milk) is provided.
It’s a really peaceful location, hardly any traffic on the road and at night the odd owl and by day the sheep in the adjacent field are the only noises you will hear.
There’s full 4G thanks to a nearby mast.
The highlight is the lovely hot tub, heated by a wood stove lit by the owner before you arrive and again on further days of the stay. The view from the huts (and the hot tub) over Moel Siabod and Snowdon is superb.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A great two nights - We stayed at Tyddyn Du for two nights, and had a great time. Menna was a wonderful host and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was great and the surroundings were stunning. We will happily stay here again next time we are in the area.
- Gareth (10/5): Quiet place in the country - Really nice place to stay and very friendly place. Large family room with plenty of space. Very clean bathroom. Wanted to book next year but already fully booked
- Aleksandra (10/5): Lovely time - Our host Menna was so lovely! She made sure we had a great stay and served delicious breakfast at the time that suited us best! Will definitely be back!
- Victoria (10/5): Fantastic B&B - We were greeted at the door by the owners who showed us through our own little entrance to the house. They gave us tea and cake and were extremely helpful in planning where to go for dinner that evening (the local Indian had the best dishes we've ever had in a Balti house, we'd thoroughly recommend it). Our room was beautiful, extremely comfortable and warm. There was a tea tray and fridge in the room, which were nice touches. There was a sink in the room too so that you didn't need to keep nipping into the bathroom to get ready. The bathroom had loads of hot water. Breakfast this morning was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. The home made marmalade is well worth a try. Overall we had a fabulous stay, we were made to feel very welcome.
- Leanne (10/5): Fab! - Lovely farm, lovely family. Very clean and a yummy breakfast. Menna was so helpful and kind. Great for kids.
- Michael (8/5): Quite working farm location, easy access to town. - Suited our purpose very well, allowed us to walk along the many designated footpaths within the Snowdonia National Park and enjoy the peace and quiet at night.
The nearby towns offered a number of restaurants and drinking establishments.
As a working farm there are a number of animals roaming around which the kids found very amusing, we were invited to see more of the farm but did not have the time. Maybe next time we will stay in the hut and pod for a glamping experience.
- Lesley (8/5): Great traditional farmhouse b Andy b - Traditional farmhouse bed and breakfast
Great views
Great farmhouse breakfast
- Louise (10/5): Stunning views and location - Warm friendly welcome, clean comfortable huts with everything you need. Cosy log fire and peacefull setting.
- Emma (10/5): Fabtastic Family Weekend Away - We had the most wonderful weekend at Tyddyu Du. The family were amazing, allowing our children to bottle feed the lambs and see week old puppies - my children wanted to move in. The accommodation is fantastic and every care has been taken to ensure that it has everything you could possibly need.
We are already planning our next stay and could not recommend it more highly
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent B&B including feeding the lambs - Lovely B&B on a farm. Very warm welcome from Menna who allowed our children to feed the newborn lambs with her.
