• Linda (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf. - De sfeer. In de avond zijn er vuurtjes, rustige live muziek die niet op standje 100 gaat. Marshmallows en thee werd beschikbaar gesteld. Dark sky park is echtheel donker. Melkweg is met het blote oog zichtbaar. De tenten staan redelijk uit elkaar dus je hebt wel een eigen stukje. Ze zijn ook leuk ingericht. Overal is aan gedacht, lampjes, powerbanks, kruiken. Heb als een baby geslapen. Wij hadden een eigen badkamer in de tent, dat was wel fijn. In de ochtend hoorden we kalkoenen en vogeltjes. Erg leuk. De buren hadden een jankend kind bij. Het eten is lekker, maar prijzig voor wat je krijgt.

Noi abbiamo preso una tenda senza bagno, ma erano vicini, molto puliti e a disposizione gli asciugamani. Cena con musica dal vivo, falò e mashmellows e una stellata che non dimenticheremo! • Rhonda (9/5): Fun adventure in easy driving distance from the Grand Canyon. - Our tent was on the edge of the camp so it was private and quiet. It was a good size and comfortable. Top marks to the young, enthusiastic, knowledgeable staff! The food was good quality and we were appreciative of extras like blankets, hiking poles, etc. It was hard to control the water temperature in the shower - it was very erratic, swinging from scalding to cold and back again. The tent does get cold overnight in May, and while the wood stove was efficient, it's not large enough to keep the tent warm all night. However those are minor issues compared to our overall very positive experience.

Possibilité de faire des s'mores au coin du feu. Difficile à trouver. A côté d'un aéroport - bruit des avions le matin. Personne à la réception lors de notre arrivée - donc un peu compliqué. Restaurant plus cher (surtout le petit déjeuner) que ce qui est inscrit sur booking.

• Stephen (10/5): What a fun experience. Our first time "Glamping". - We didn't eat breakfast there. We did have dinner there and it was very good! The Staff was very helpful and friendly. They wanted to make our stay comfortable and memorable, and it was!! We were surprised with a 33 degree morning!! Could have used more covers.

• Aleksandra (6/5): - Przyjechaliśmy na nocleg z małymi dziećmi, a w namiocie było bardzo zimno. Rozumiemy, że na dworze było zimno, ale personel powinien napalić w namiocie przed naszym przyjazdem. Z tego powodu musieliśmy zmienić hotel. Do tego nie mam prądu, a ładować można tylko na power bankach, które daje obsługa hotelu, ale to już nie był dla nas taki duży problem jak zimno.

• Elsbeth (10/5): Wonderful experience, highly recommend if you look for close to nature experience with all the convenience and luxury. L - Wonderful location in the desert. We visited the Grand Canyon and looked at the sunset. Afterwards we drove to Under Canvas, the navigation led us to this hidden place perfectly. It was like arriving in a dream, driving through the dark streets and then arriving in this beautiful place with lights everywhere. So cozy, and wonderful, helpful staff. It’s true glamping, having all the service and facilities, and still the close to nature experience. It was a bit cold and with our European phones we couldn’t reach the reception in the night for extra blankets. It would be great to have some extra blankets already in the tent. Also many people left early, probably to watch sunrise, it was very early quite some cars driving away. It would be great if people who want to leave early have their car maybe closer to the reception so it doesn’t disturb the others.

• P.B. (10/5): Geweldig! - Geweldige ervaring! Heerlijk camperen, maar dan met alle luxe en gemakken. Het kan ‘s avonds koud worden, maar de tent is zo warm met de houtkachel en ze hebben bij de hoofdtent ook van alles om je warm te houden. Het bed was heerlijk en het uitzicht fantastisch. Als het donker is kan je voor je tent lekker sterren kijken!

• Nina (10/5): - Wir waren mit unserer Familie Mitte Oktober dort und es war nachts wirklich sehr sehr kalt und dennoch das Highlight unserer Reise. Die Natur, der Service und die Annehmlichkeiten sind wirklich unbeschreiblich. Unsere Kinder haben die Marshmellows am Feuer geliebt.
• Hannah (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect. Only about a 20–30 minute drive to the Grand Canyon, yet peaceful and quiet. The tents were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and special experience close to the Grand Canyon! The wood stove is a nice touch but not very practical on a cold night, as the fire only lasts about an hour and can make the tent a bit smoky. It might be better to have gas heating inside and a real wood fire outside - that would make the experience warmer and more authentic, especially for roasting marshmallows.

• Ravache (10/5): Une nuit merveilleuse dans une nature magnifique, avec un personnel incroyable, merci pour tout ! - Nous avons passé une nuit magique ! Le cadre naturel est éblouissant, les logements sont confortables et très bien équipés pour ce style d'hébergement. Le personnel est absolument adorable, la nourriture est délicieuse et nous avons adoré faire griller nos chamallow à la belle étoile autour du feu. Un musicien était présent ce soir là et chantait en live, c'était génial. Merci pour ce merveilleux moment. Le cris des coyotes dans la nuit sont un peu surprenant, mais cela faisait partie de l'expérience.
• Julia (7/5): - - location - Kind personnel Depending on the time of your stay, you might want to go to a hotel instead, as it get s very cold during the night and hot water in the shower doesnt last long. We went end of October, so unfortunately, it was too cold to stay under the tent, the stove is very small and heats only for a few hours and the water in the shower wasn’t very warm. Also all of our clothes were filled with smoke. That s part of the adventure and overall, it was a nice experience.
• celia6 (9/5): Superbe expérience mais à faire plutôt en été ! - Expérience insolite de dormir sous des tentes. Nous sommes arrivés à 19h de nuit et il n'est pas simple de trouver le camp qui se trouve au milieu d'une lande. Le parking n'était pas éclairé mais avec une lampe torche ça passe. Très bon accueil et explication pour le fonctionnement à l'intérieur des tentes ( lampes, douche, poêle à bois...)Le dîner sous la tente principale est très sympa! Nous avons beaucoup aimé les chamallows à faire cuire autour de grands feux et le fait de pouvoir admirer un ciel rempli d'étoiles!!!Magnifique! Le seul bémol c'est qu'il vaut mieux être équipés en vêtements polaires (heureusement nous l'étions )car il faisait 4 degrés sous la tente....nous avons bien senti le froid malgré les couettes... L'expérience est très sympa mais peut être plutôt à faire à la belle saison... Le camp n'est pas vraiment éclairé, prévoir une lampe torche.. La literie est à revoir , nous avions une tente de luxe mais pour avoir fait d'autres expériences sous tentes dans d'autres pays nous avons trouvé le prix est assez élevé

• Laurent (8/5): Chic , super spot mais à améliorer - Situé en plein désert à 20 mn du grand canyon rive sud , le spot est splendide. très bon accueil, le resto est très sympa avec de la bonne nourriture fraîche et variée. les tentes suites sont magnifiques et bien décorées , du camping chic Cependant, il a fait très froid dans les tentes ( on y était fin octobre ) proche de zéro avec comme unique chauffage un poil à bois , qui fume énormément dans la chambre et qu il faut alimenter toutes les 2 heures avec des bûches. la nuit est compliquée sans chauffage permanent. Au final, c est très cher pour un résultat positif mais compliqué la nuit

We had a blast disconnecting from our phones and playing board games, listening to live music, and stargazing. The food was excellent. The tent itself was comfortable, and springing for the private bathroom was worth every penny. There is no electricity in the tents, but the two charging banks we were provided were more than sufficient to recharge our phones and cameras. The wood stove in the tent kept us toasty overnight even though it dropped into the low 40s. I only wish we had planned to spend more than one night here!

Loved that tents were well spaced and cars could not drive right up to the tents. Beautiful clear sky for star gazing. Hot water in shower. Comfortable bed and the wood stove worked well. A little high priced yet very unique experience.

Yoga and meditation available at no cost in the mornings, free tea and coffee, lovely clean bathrooms and communal fire pits and comfy seating outside at night but also some sofas to lounge on inside with an array of games. Really nice breakfast and coffee from the small onsite cafe bar. We wished we’d had time to stay longer. The tent was great, with wood burning stove and large bed with duvet. Stars at night were amazing and were woken by howling coyotes. A truly memorable experience.

• Oliver (8/5): Nice but overly expensive - It was close to the Grand Canyon and the staff was friendly. We liked the evening smores ritual. It is way too expensive for what it is. The prices are in the range of 4 and 5 star hotels, which is excessive. With the cost of a two night stay, we could have bought a complete camping gear set and camped directly in the Grand Canyon.

• Vittoria (10/5): Lovely cozy stay near Grand Canyon - Loved it all, such a nice set up. The common areas were lovely and the deluxe tent has all you need for a comfy stay. Just know that there is no WiFi in the common areas which maybe could be implemented? Yoga in the morning is included in your stay, plus night s’mores! Dinner was truly delicious, it definitely went above my expectations.. Super kind team overall: Cora, Adam and the maintenance guy that was so kind and supported at check out, truly appreciated it all, it was a surprise stay for my boyfriend and he was so happy. Loved the little stove in the room.

• Anke (10/5): Wer mal außergewöhnliche übernachten möchte ist hier genau richtig - Ganz tolle Unterkunft mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Sehr bequeme Betten und das Abendprogramm war toll. Leider haben wir es nicht geschafft an der Yogastunde am Vormittag teilzunehmen. Es gibt absolut nichts zu beanstanden oder zu meckern

Falò e musica dal vivo la sera in cui abbiamo soggiornato. Posizione strategica in quanto molto vicino al gran canyon. A disposizione lampade e power bank in tenda mancando l'elettricità. Bellissimo il cielo stellato! Mancando l'elettricitá ci si può scaldare solo con la stufa a legna che nella tenda può creare un po di fumo. Forniscono comunque il necessario per accendere agevolmente il fuoco. Non c'è possibilità di cucinare qualcosa in struttura anche se presente un ristorante. Non c'e wifi in struttura ma è coperto dalla rete cellulare.

• Lina-Janine (4/5): - Einrichtung der Zelte Lagerfeuer Live-Musiker Die Lautstärke: Musik/Gästelärm ging teilweise bis 00-02 Uhr und um 05 Uhr sind die ersten Gäste abgereist oder in den Park gefahren (auch mit Motorrädern) oder Personal mit den Caddys gefahren. Die Zeltwände sind nur sehr dünn und man hat somit keine Isolierung nach Außen, insbesondere weil unser Zelt sehr nah am Haupthaus lag. Ich würde keine Autos/Motorräder ins Camp fahren lassen, um zumindest den morgendlichen Lärm dahingehend zu minimieren und eine strikte Abendruhe einhalten. Man bucht diese Unterkunft meiner Meinung nach auch um die Natur zu erleben und das war nicht so einfach möglich. Zusätzlich waren die Nächte sehr kalt. Der Ofen hat nicht lange gewärmt und man musste sehr oft holz nachlegen. Die Toiletten waren teilweise schon echt dreckig und das Wasser zum duschen sehr lange kalt bevor es richtig warm wurde. Für den stolzen Preis pro Nacht, erwarte ich da etwas mehr.

• lisavY4987SY (4/5): Disappointing - We were looking forward to staying at Under Canvas. The website and the experience we had were not aligned. The level of service and quality of finishes were not aligned with the price charged. The battery packs in the room didn't work consistently. The battery light in our room failed. When returning to our tent after a day at the Grand Canyon we found our bed not made and cold wet towels. When we asked at the main tent later that evening, we were told you need to request in advance to have your towels changed and the bed made. There was no commumication at check or in the room that you needed to request in advance for clean towels and the bed to be made. The experience could have been significantly better if there were some attention to details and service. We have been asked by others how our experience was and unfortunately our response has been we would not return nor recommend to others.
• 710chloec (10/5): Everything I Hoped For (and then some)! - We had an amazing time glamping at Under Canvas near the Grand Canyon. The rooms were super comfortable; the wood stove made the room so cozy, and the beds were really comfortable. I was especially impressed by how good the customer service, the layout, and the communal spaces were. Major shout outs to Walter and Cora. They made our stay extra welcoming and comfortable.
