Tiphaine (10/5): - Très bon accueil personnalisé et sympathique dans ce très beau lieu. Les propriétaires sont cordiaux, très investis et s'assurent de votre bon séjour. Grandes chambres avec une literie impeccable qui ouvrent sur un paysage de parc reposant. Petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits frais et savoureux. Le confort et l'ambiance sont au rendez-vous ! Seul petit bémol : les couloirs de circulation en parquet sont un peu bruyants, ils mériteraient un tapis pour amortir les bruits. Et un peu plus de réserve de la part de certains clients forts qui parlent fort et font claquer les portes comme s'ils étaient seuls au monde ! Mais cela, l'hôtelier n'y peut rien...
Britt (10/5): - I was so sad to leave. The entire experience was wonderful from being greeted by the sommelier with a wine tasting to the time we checked out with the owners. Such wonderful people and so very accommodating. The owners helped us make reservations, provided recommendations, and had a delicious breakfast prepared. I would love to go back for a relaxing weekend!

M (10/5): Great find close to all the good wine villages - Lovely chateau, tastefully decorated. We had a big, comfortable room with a lovely shower room. They only do breakfast but it was very nice. They have a huge cellar of great wines to buy and they will do tastings. You can have good wines by the glass or bottle at a very reasonable mark-up on the selling price.

Made dinner reservations for us wiih excellent recommendations. Amazing on-site sommelier will give a private tasting. Very knowledgeable and speaks English ! Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful property, the owners were exceptionally accommodating. My girlfriend said she felt like a princess staying there. Although we rented a car to see other wineries, we wish we had taken the time just to walk around the ones nearby. I almost didn’t want to write this review as I was worried the price would sky rocket and wouldn’t be available for us next time!

Christina (10/5): Absolutely perfect! - My husband and I stayed here for one night and now wish we had booked a longer stay. Not only was the staff exceptional (giving us a tour of the old chateau and acquainting us with the region), but the room was spacious and well-equipped with a breathtaking view. I very highly recommend booking the 4-course dinner with the wine pairings. What a spectacular experience - seated with fellow guests in a regal dining room, discovering regional dishes, with a private sommelier. Not to be missed when traveling through Burgundy!

Amy (8/5): Wine and Patrimoine - We chose Rully and the Chateau de Saint Michel almost at random. The hotel is very new and an ambitious undertaking by a lovely young couple. They are very concentrated on the local wines and they have a dedicated sommelier on staff. We were ordered wine on the terrace that was spectacular and the wine is available to purchase as well. Recommendations for dinner were perfect. A small unpretentious place in the sweet town of Bouzeron. But the best advice was to visit the Chateau de Germolles. A tiny château in the process of being restored with live and a great deal of intelligence. Do not miss it. The bedrooms were quite hit at night but by next summer they plan to have ceiling fans installed.
Patrick & Terry (10/5): An Absolute Gem! - Wonderful hotel! We stopped here for just one night on the way from Paris to Lyon & Montpellier ... our room was very spacious & the bathroom was nicely renovated ... the breakfast was the best we had at a hotel during our stay in France ... by a mile. The thing that really made or stay though was getting to know the incredible people who run the place & truly made us feel like welcome personal friends. In fact we arrived late and couldn't get a table at any restaurant in town. We came down & bought a bottle of wine from the bar to enjoy on the terrace & the owners invited us to join them & their own friends who were visiting. They shared some wonderful appetizers they had prepared for themselves & made us feel completely at home. This short stay will be the thing we will likely remember most fondly from our trip & will likely always regret not planning a longer stay here. It's amazing really how few people in the hospitality industry these days really know what that term means ... these folks are masters of it.

Par contre, aucune climatisation en période de canicule pour une chambre plein soleil d'après-midi de sorte que je n'ai pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit et ai quitté après une nuit même si j'avais payé pour deux.

I honestly don't know what else you could be looking for in a hotel. Oh and they make a great breakfast (not free).

Raghav (10/5): Beautiful Chateau Hotel in a charming town - Chateau Saint Michel is a great place to experience what it is like to stay in a grand old Chateau. The hosts, Mark and Metha, are gracious and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant and rewarding experience. The Chateau itself is grand and retains a lot of its old world splendor. The room was well adorned and spacious with stunning views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The bathroom was grand with both a shower and a full size bathtub. Mark also took the guests on a tour of the Chateau, showing us the grounds, the unused but well preserved sections of the Chateau and its cavernous cellars. The only negative was the breakfast which was overpriced for what was offered, albeit tasty. Overall, great place to stay and highly recommended.
R (10/5): Luxury stop over - We stayed for one night on the way cross country to a wedding. The hotel is amazing, set in the middle of beautiful countryside you really feel like you are staying somewhere special. The owners are lovely, really genuinely helpful and great fun to chat to. Loved our room, the breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the impromptu chateaux tour. Will definitely come back, although our stay was short it really was one of the highlights of our trip.

Rully is a very quintessential, picturesque French Village with the Chateau adding a wonderful location to stay to enjoy the regions Vineyards. They were so helpful with any question and we just enjoyed chatting with them. The rooms are very large and completely updated. We initially worried about it's location but found that not to be a problem at all. Easy to get around. Ask for a tour of the Chapel and you won't be disappointed! 5-stars all the way.
