- peter (10/5): - Lage, Restaurant, Ausstattung, Service Top Stadt Hotel. Gegenüber ist eine Bar die bis spät in der Nacht offen hat. Daher war es ziemlich laut. Dadurch dass die Klimaanlage saisonbedingt noch nicht funktioniert hat mussten wir das Fenster aufmachen um etwas Luft zu bekommen. Bei geschlossenen Fenster hört man jedoch fast gar nichts.

- FRANCES (10/5): - In our humble opinion, you can’t find a better host in RAGUSA than the owners of Il DUOMO de RELAIS! My wife and I have different priorities when it comes to hotels and it’s frustrating when disagreements turn into arguments. We try to compromise and alternate who picks the hotel in the next town as we drive around the island of Sicily. In Ragusa, a UNESCO world heritage site, she chose Duomo Relais because of the balcony behind the Cathedral Dome and the unexpected happened. God orchestrated it to heal me (Romans 8:38). In my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father I struggled to accept His loving grace because I’m not the “model” husband or father and I felt unworthy. But when I woke up to the sunrise behind the Cathedral Dome I felt God asking me to surrender and let go of my self-condemnation and accept His forgiving grace. In my morning prayers, I wept as I felt a born again experience of God’s love that is relentless and unshakable, reaching out to sinners like me who felt like we don’t belong to church. But on this mountain of Ragusa, I finally surrendered that God loves me unconditionally as I am and not as I should be, because nobody is as they should be. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

- Kathleen (10/5): This is the place to stay in Ragusa Ilba - Il Duomo Relais is the place to stay in Ragusa Ilba. Katia, the owner of the B&B was there to meet us. She has a unique system of ordering breakfast. Rather than putting out a breakfast buffet, she offers a cooked breakfast to order with many Italian specialties such as fresh ricotta, homemade jams, croissants, regional olives, Modica chocolates to name just a few. Eggs cooked to order with toast and butter, homemade jam and tomatoes. There was also fresh seasonal fruit. Katia gave us the room with a view of the Duomo. It took 8 months to renovate this B&B which is truly special in Ragusa Ilba especially since there is street parking available. Katia also gives you a list of excellent restaurants. We chose La Bettola which was still serving lunch when we got there. Katia was kind enough to call the restaurant to check if they were still serving and made us a reservation. We had an excellent meal there. Katia is very prompt in her communication especially if you have any questions about parking, restaurants or anything else you might be wondering about. Nothing

Breakfast is absolutly wonderful, local fresh products and a huge choice of food and drinks to choose from! The room is beautiful, fresh (the aircon works really well), with 1 mini fridge and lots of space to store things. The bed was sooo comfortable. The view AMAZING. Parking was very simple, it seems all streets are free to park and there were quite a few spots available near the hotel when we arrived at 5.30pm. Can't recommand Ik Duomo relais enough!!

I will go back ! - Katia made our experience amazing, she was communicating with us before we arrived to guide us in town as Ragusa is not the easiest place to drive, she also offered us her park is spot close to the entrance and had a map ready with restaurants recommendations… we were coming from Capo Taormina Una hotel a luxury place and Katia was was superior with here services. The room was small but spotless and beautifully decorated with stunning wallpaper and cotton embroidered window covers with the duomo on 😍we stayed in Aura room that has a lovely view of the duomo. Very romantic for couples!

- John (10/5): The perfect accommodation in a beautiful part of Ragusa. - We booked very last minute but couldn't have asked for such an accomodating host. Katia was friendly, helpful and accommodating, the room is beautifully appointed and clean, and the building is incredible. It is located in an elevated part of Ragusa so the views are spectacular. We could only stay one night but wished we could stay longer - we cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks so much Katia.
- Kirill (9/5): Best view in town - The view is simply the best in town. The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast had a lot of options and was very good. The room was very clean. The location is in center of everything on the Ibla. Bathroom is very well organized. A/C could be a problem in hot weather, it's very weak and we had to sleep with open window (and when you open the window A/C turns off). Luckily we visited in May which was unusually chilly. Room is very small (but well organized) and has a very steep stairs leading to it. Pack light.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Chic boutique hotel - We absolutely LOVED this hotel, and the owner--Katia--is a best reason why. What a lovely and caring host. She made a fantastic breakfast every morning, and had lots of suggestions of things to see and places to go. The hotel is quite chic: comfortable bed, extra pillows, good hairdryer, free water and coffee. A GREAT location if you are walking...not easy to get to by car. But totally worth the effort! Would absolutely stay here again.

- Eileen (9/5): We enjoyed our stay in this conveniently located, small hotel with lots of charm and beautiful view. - We loved this small, charming hotel in the heart of Ragusa Ibla. Katrina was so friendly and helpful. We also liked that parking was available and there were great places for food and drink close by. We liked everything. If you have trouble with stairs, there is no elevator, though not a problem for us. Also, if you are driving, there are small streets to navigate.

- ray (8/5): - Katia was tremendous! A huge asset for us. Driving in Ragusa Ilba is challenging, especially when the GPS gets you lost. One time it lead us to a street that ending up with stairs going up hill! After two attempts, we call Katia and she rescued us and helped find parking just down the street. I side swiped a wall in our adventure and she buffed out the marks for us (no comments from the car rental folks...thank God). Once you get there (that was the only "negative" we experienced), everything was PERFECT. Beautiful, spacious room, great shower/bathroom, excellent breakfast and outstanding location. Ragusa Ilba is beautiful and a must visit. Great views, churches and restaurants. Plus, Il Duomo Relais has Katia...what more could you want! We had a blast
