Guest Reviews
- Kiranjit (2/5): - Its ok. Not very tidy.
- Danielle (10/5): Gem - Little gem clean and friendly
- Jay (4/5): - Definitely an older building. The AC unit didn't have any knobs on the controls and caused all the lights to flicker when on, the couch had chunks of foam torn out, and the bed was very creaky. You get what you pay for and it did have lots of parking
- Linda (6/5): - Comfortable for the price. No coffee machine
- Judy (6/5): - There was no shampoos or conditioner. No coffee machines or coffee. Soap was bar soap not shower gel. Very out of date decor.
- Andrew (4/5): Not great. - Cost effective but really not on very good condition. Non smoking room smelled heavily of smoke with cigarette burn marks all over the. Bathroom sink. Either it was previously a smoking room or people smoke in it anyways. Like I said it was a cheap nights stay but I would not stay again. For a few extra dollars 2 hotels just down the road are far nicer. Host was friendly upon checkin/checkout.
- janice (8/5): - Its great if all u need is a shower, nice and warm, clean bed and a safe place to stay. Lots live here by the month. Character stay. Very affordable. I would stay here again. I had no issues. Nice receptionist.
- Matthew (2/5): - Pre booked and they gave our room away.
- Alvin (10/5): - Great stay
- Shannon (2/5): - Lost my makeup bag and staff was very rude when asked if they saw it.
- Alvin (10/5): - Great stay.
- Alvin (10/5): - Not bad
- Dennis (8/5): Meh - No early check in, room not ready till 4:15. Lock on door needed to be repaired and window had no lock at all ( room was ground floor)
- Glen (2/5): - Despite having a reservation emailed to me when I arrived the office was locked and a buzzer which I pushed no one cane but then I realized thrre was someone at the desk ignoring me but eventually let me in and I told him my
Name and eventually the reservation email and was informed that was a mistake and the only
Rooms they had was 81 dollars And then he phones his boss
Who he put me on the phone to and Said they don’t have rooms alt that price I was exhausted and slept in my car thanks definitely puts people in a precarious situations
- Caroline (6/5): - Good price
- Joseph (6/5): - This is the cheapest place to stay in the town of Innisfail. Although it looks sketchy and people are actually living there, our stay was satisfactory. We only really stayed here because Motel 6 up the street did not allow pets.
- Leanne (4/5): - Liked it had a separate bedroom. Unit was definitely in need of repair & updating. Had to ask to have dog dumping 3 feet from our door cleaned up. Had to call for batteries for the TV remote. Some of the clientelle was abit scary; within minutes we had 2 police vehicles pull in to do a wellness check on one. Another approached us to go to the beer store for him. Uou could say you only get what you pay for but it was not cheap!
- William (6/5): - If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. On the other hand you get what you pay for so not much was expected.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Ac and tv you know need something.
- Holly (4/5): - Quiet✔️
Hard bed and pillow like a rock
Limited amenities not Evan a lamp
- maurice (8/5): - not a thing very nice stay
- Trevor (10/5): - it was affordable and safe
- michael (8/5): - Goodnight stay in a snow storm
- Sarah (2/5): - I was searching for GreenBay area but this was listing in green bay instead. please refund. thank you.
- Sabrina (8/5): - Pleasant enough.
- Rachael (2/5): - Demolition and rebuild. Everything falling apart.
- Richard (8/5): - The price was right. We needed a place to sleep and shower for a couple of nights. We stayed during the hottest weather this year so the air conditioning was well appreciated. The staff were friendly and accommodating. No coffee in the room but the convenience store/gas station next door had coffee and snacks. Excellent value. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - On the website says check in from 7am and when i arrived at 08:30, i was told that check in is at 11am. Maybe this should be changed immediately as its false advertising. I was initially offered a dingy single room which i declined and then given a room with two beds which was okay. I just needed a place to sleep and freshen up. You get what you pay for.
- Raymond (8/5): - I had booked a room (as I was to attend a funeral) and upon arrival, the desk clerk said that that they couldn’t see anything in the system and that I wasn’t booked!!!
I assured him that I was and that the booking is on my phone…so reluctantly he gave me a room😳
- Kaleb (10/5): - Its ean quite and safety. Just the room Is a little bit cold
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I booked the only pet friendly motel available for last night. I wrote I had 2 pets at check in then I was confronted by an employee this morning claiming I didn’t declare my pets. I won’t be staying here again it was my only option
- Verified traveler (2/5): - A dump,no hot water,no shampoo, bed creaked all nite, and kept us awake, stains on the floor and sheets. Will not stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - You get what you pay for. It's an old run down place but the staff was very nice.
- GH (6/5): - Quite a basic motel but at least the room had a fridge and microwave .
It was warm enough (if it was summer the air-conditioning looked 50 years old ).
Think of museum motel.
- Jason (2/5): - I asked for a refund cause they would not accept nanything j mol m l. L
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It's OK. Barely adequate. Stayed one night.
Heat in the room did not work but they brought in a portable heater very quickly. It kept tripping the breaker until we figured out where we could plug it in that didn't trip.
Front desk was helpful and friendly.
- Esther (6/5): Cheap deal for cheap experience - There’s a bed to sleep on. Good enough
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hi to all review readers. Guest at room 9. I have reseved a room at 20/09. chacked in close to 5am at 21/09 the lady in the front desk wasn't there but after a buzz at the door she immidiatly arrived and gave me realy good service. The chack out was at 2pm instad of 11am cause I arrived late. The room is good and the place is quiet. Near the highway but dont hear the noise from the road. There is a gas station few step from the place. My mark up to 5 is 4 - for one night or 2 you dont need much but becaues of the service it got from 3.5 to 4
- Douglas (6/5): Very basic motel - No shampoo, but this appearsI had to be the new standard at hotels. I had to put a towel over the window because the curtains were so thin they did not block out the setting sun. Very basic room, but I got what I paid for.
- Joel (8/5): Decent place. For the price you pay. - Decent place. For the price you pay. Room was reasonably clean. Just be aware you’re right near the highway.
- Art (4/5): Innisfail one-niter - Small, cramped, no mirror above sink, no shampoo, no coffee maker. All in all, a pretty depressing place to spend the night.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Accommodati8ons were adequate. Terribly noisey as it is right on Hwy 2, all night so made it difficult to stay asleep with all the big trucks flying by. I knew this when I booked so not a surprise.
- Amber (2/5): - The wall heater unit barely worked, and there were blood smears in various areas all over the room
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Even I can not find a cup for water. Broken heater and basic needs are NOT avail in this place
- David (8/5): Ok - It was ok overall
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly Comforable motel at a great price, Fast check in
- David (8/5): The stay was nice - It was ok
- Carlo (8/5): Budget accommodations for a low price. - The Bluebird Motel is nothing fancy, but provides a warm, quiet place to stay while you're in town or visiting Red Deer. The staff is very kind and replaced our towels and emptied our garbage every day. If you're looking to save money on accommodations but don't want to skimp out on confirm, I would recommend the Bluebird Motel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent motel for Business/quick night sleep - It's a good motel to just keep your stuff, sleep, and shower in the morning. I would stay here just because it is cheap and good for business. Staff is very friendly!
- kevin (8/5): - For 70$ a night, I honestly don’t think I could have found anything better in the area, room was very comfy, felt like it was your very own small apartment. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and net, sure there was some spot of messed up pain or what not on the walls, but how can that actually bother someone? Only thing I would maybe have to say negatively about my stay was the door locks, maybe work on getting the doors to lock smoother and easier, I will admit was scares door didn’t lock in the first night, took me a good 10 mins to get it locked.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Take my advice. Sleep in your vehicle. Or drive to another city. Just don't stay here.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Friendly staff, but the room was pretty beat up. Dead cockroach in the bathroom. Cracks in the floors and walls and open fan in the bathroom. The room stank out what smelled like a weeklong party. The fridge didn't work at all, and I couldn't get the TV to move past one channel. At least the linen and towels were clean!
- RAMONITO (8/5): Awesome for the price and for the area. - Place was simple. It was clean. Very quiet area. When I walked in the room, cough a few times, not sure why but my guess would be due to dust that I'm not used to it and had to air out the room.
It was really good for the price I paid. Compared to the prices in the area and for the bed and shower it was worth it's value.
- john (6/5): It's a roof over your head. - Cheap place to stay. Not much desireable about location.Bed not too comfortable.Carpet dirty & with cigarette burns.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good for the price - it was reasonable price...okay for business trips not for couples
- Dean (10/5): Classic Charming Motel - There is a certain charm that can only be found at aging strip motels. The Bluebird is very rich in this charm. For its age the motel has been kept in decent shape and was clean. Also the price was right. You won't find such character and charm at your typical modern four storey hotel. Sure, you'll find all new building materials and modern comforts such as pools, exercise rooms, and room service. But you'll also pay double the price or more for what's basically just a place to sleep. If you want to save some money, support an independent, and stay in a piece of history, then the Bluebird is the place!
- James (10/5): - Older motel, but the room was updated and clean. Like a lot of budget motels, no shampoo in the shower, bring your own.
- James (4/5): - Old,in need of upgrading
