• cathy (7/5): Cosy homely place with extras if you want them. - Relaxed and comfortable. Space to be together or apart and well equipped kitchen. Friendly staff and owner. Offer of activities. My daughter got bitten badly by mozzies. We got a plug in to deter the second night.

• Beatriz (10/5): - a hospitalidade da Mariana foi excelente, foi muito simpática e atenciosa, além das dicas de locais para conhecer que foram perfeitas. O ambiente é lindo e muito agradável. Pequeno almoço variado, estava muito bom. A roupa de cama e banho estavam um pouco ásperas.
• Vilma (10/5): - Não ficamos em Cascais. Direcionaram-nos para Colares. Não havia restaurante por perto. Vilarejo em Sintra, portanto não foi o planejado ou solicitafo. Apesar disso fomos muito bem atendidos por Mariana. Muito prestativa O anfitrião não falava português. A localização de Colares não é boa. Gostaria de ter ficado em Cascais, onde fizemos a reserva.

• Davi (8/5): Muito boa. Excelente custo-benefício. - Café da manhã com pão fresco, café passado na hora, leites (vaca e aveia), fiambres, manteiga, geléias, frutas e cereais. Me atendeu completamente. Gostei de tudo. Fui muito bem atendido pela Mariana.

• Barbara (8/5): Ambiente amichevole, semplice ma grazioso. - Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (tra l’altro con colazione inclusa). Struttura semplice ma arricchita da tanti particolari che la rendono davvero molto graziosa, a cominciare dalla veranda coperta, con divanetti, libri e chitarra. Inoltre, a disposizione degli ospiti c’è un frigorifero ed un’intera cucina per scaldare o preparare il cibo. Si respira aria di amicizia e di condivisione. Emma ci ha accolti con molta gentilezza. Tutto ok

• Nadine (7/5): Boa aposta para os períodos fora do inverno - Ambiente descontraído e decoração bonita Muito frio e húmido (mas época de dezembro). Esperámos 2 noites por um aquecedor de quarto. Pequeno almoço pouco variado. Tínhamos de ser nós a lavar a louca depois do pequeno-almoço Preço elevado para o que foi oferecido

• PEDRO (9/5): Família de quatro - Localização formidável, atendimento do Sergio e da Laura muito caloroso, pequeno-almoço simples com pão fresco, doce, queijo, fiambre, sumo e tudo o necessário. O quarto era espaçoso e luminoso com casa de banho muito limpa. A sala de estar, na entrada, era muito acolhedora e convidativa ao convívio em ambiente bem aquecido, por uma magnífica salamandra de pellets. A cozinha era muito bem organizada e limpa, onde preparámos um chá com a ajuda do Sergio e a Laura, com quem estivemos a conversar durante bons momentos da nossa estadia, neste simpático lodge no coração da Malveira da Serra. O quarto não tinha aquecimento.

• ANA MARIA (6/5): Aceptable para una noche si no eres alérgico - La ubicación a cinco mins de la playa. El entorno y zonas comunes agradables. Desayuno disponible. Personal amable. La habitación del fondo olía a polvo, el armario, y se transmitía el olor a la estancia y justo yo estaba agripada. Se oye bastante ruido. El suelo del baño está elevado a la entrada y te puedes hacer daño con él. Calidad precio me parece demasiado 67 euros para la calidad de cama, ruido... Aunque es lo que se estila en la zona

• Franziska (5/5): Muss nicht nochmal - Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Zum Frühstück gab es frische Brötchen. Das Hostel ist ziemlich abgerockt. Das Doppelzimmer, in dem wir untergebracht waren, war sehr karg eingerichtet und wenig einladend. Das Bad machte keinen sonderlich ansprechend Eindruck. Noch dazu war das Zimmer direkt neben dem Eingangsbereich und gegenüber von Aufenthaltsraum, wodurch man die anderen Gäste bis nach Mitternacht hörte. Direkt am Hostel ging eine größere, laute Straße entlang (auch nachts), die v.a. von Motorradfahrern genutzt wurde.

• Włodyga (4/5): Nic więcej poza panującym luzem i miłą atmosferą. - Atmosfera panująca w obiekcie była bardzo dobra. Wygniecione materace, źle działająca brudna klimatyzacja w jednym pokoju a po włączeniu nawiewu na max zaczęło coś w niej trzaskać i włączył się pierwszy bieg, w drugim brak klimatyzacji pomimo że miała być. Zapach grzyba w obu pokojach i smród kanalizacji w łazience. Na śniadaniu grzyb na zatyczkach do mleka i bułki z poprzedniego dnia.

I get it that it’s not been updated in some time, but the floor mat in the bathroom was molding, the lamp on the night stand hasn’t been dusted in a long time. And the bathroom was in such bad condition, that I’m surprised it is being rented at all.

• Sarah (7/5): Lovely place to stay for a fab surfing and community experience. - Very welcoming and a great vibe and sense of community. The communal spaces are very comfortable and homely. Having the use of the kitchen was super useful. Loved the yoga class with Caro plus she was a great source of information about the local area. My daughter and I had a great stay for 5 nights and would recommend anyone looking for a fabulous base to explore this beautiful area of Portugal. Our room was very basic and didn’t have the homely touches shown in the photos when we booked the room and it could do with a proper set of curtains. The hostel is located on a fairly busy road and a car is needed to explore the area.

A positive reply arrived from the Lodge onwer 48 hours later..not very useful as it was too late

• Lesley (9/5): I would stay here again. It is more of a small town venue. - Friendly, homey atmosphere. Staff was awesome. Room was minimal, but clean and bed was comfortable. Every room has a private bathroom. Nice basic breakfast (cereal, rolls, jam, cheese, ham) available every morning until 11 am. Plenty of options for a vegan breakfast too.. Would have appreciated a box of tissues in the room.
