- David (10/5): - It's a beautiful place right near the center of town. Like all of Geneva it's very expensive. But the service was first rate. I think $500 a night for a hotel is expensive.
- 張宗賢 (8/5): - 1. Good location for business and vocation, the hotel is next to the river and the lake. I always take a walk or jog during my stay. 2. There are many kinds of selections of resturant arround hotel.
- Philippe DXB (8/5): Great value, perfect location and nice amenities. - I stay at this hotel regularly and it offers a great location, right on the lake and 5-15mn walk to meetings downtown. The New Midi was renovated a few years back and the rooms are nice, clean and cozy. There are fluffy towels in the bathroom as well as toiletry kits and soaps; you will find a coffee machine in the room and if you feel like exercising there is a small gym on the first floor - with a basket of fruits at the entrance and free water. In my opinion New Midi is a great choice for business travellers or couples as it offers good value in Geneva. There is also a Starbucks next to the hotel as well as a Manor supermarket 2mn away, which is quite convenient. The hotel also provides a free Geneva transport card for the duration of your stay. Wi-fi - very weak...

Great value for the money - The location was incredible -- exactly where you want to be in Geneva, just off the water (and right by some of the much more expensive hotels). And a very nice hotel. Walking in, it felt so much more expensive than it was. Incredibly good value for the money. Will absolutely stay again next time I'm in Geneva! nothing. it was wonderful.

- Maura (10/5): Generous , comfortable and great value hotel in a brilliant location. - The girl on the desk was so friendly and helpful. She gave us great advice for our travel the following day and gave us complimentary tickets for our train to the airport the following morning. There was water in the lobby which was much needed and appreciated. There is just an extra touch with a hotel that leaves water in your room and a kettle for tea and coffee. It hints at a generosity that permeates the whole experience and this was the case in The new Midi. The bed was also extremely comfortable as was the temperature in the room. Lovely soaps and lotions were complimentary too. A brilliant location.. close to everything.. Great value for money! Nothing

- Daniel Moses (6/5): Great location, clean and nice rooms. The hotel tries to charge extra fees, and staff can be rude, - Location is fantastic. Room have two full bathrooms, that was unusual that said useful. Clean and nice place. I booked on booking.com for 6 people, and was given the booking selection of 2 rooms, stating a queen bed and a sofa bed in each room. It turns out they have no sofa beds and only have a small sofa (love seat type) in the rooms. The staff tried multiple times to force me to pay for adding extra beds (only later when I got the room I found that reason is that they actually do not have sofa beds). I refused to pay any extra hidden fees, which made the receptionist kind of angry. In the end, I had to call booking.com to help rectify the issue. Took a while to get them on the line, but Booking.com immediately called the manager (sitting in the sister property across the street) and told her that my booking is for 6 people in two rooms at the agreed price and if they do not have a sofa bed in the rooms as was marked on the reservation, the cost is on them not me. The more detailed account is more unpleasant until the matter was resolved. Basically, some of the staff can be rude and emotional and does not stay focused on the business transaction, while others let things slide and ignore issues. Luckly I was able to communicate with the manager and with the help of bookings.com the matter was resolved. Total 2.5 hours were wasted on this, which is a lot. Apart from that the hotel was ok.
