Maribel (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect for exploring viña on foot. The beautiful Chilean breakfast was in a gorgeous dining room and with friendly service. Don't expect too much chocolate during your stay. The furtinure is a bit worn but also adds to the traditional character of the place.

Pablovl (9/5): Confortable and well located - It is a quite place and it has a lot of outlets. The breakfast was served directly in the room, no need to get dressed and go downstairs to take it and it was powerful. And last but not least, the best thing was the heater waiting our homecoming with a cozy feeling. Its getting colder at night this days When I was preparing the bed to get sleep, I realized that the sheet had small stains on it. I didn't care anyway because I was worned out, but it kind of feel a bit unpleasant. The TV that was located in front of the Big bed had a bit of interference on its signal. In spite of that, everything else was quite awesome.

Kislitsyna (3/5): We won’t stay there again. - The breakfast was poor, small and with some prepackaged food. Like just overly processed bars. No nets on the windows, bugs get in. No AC. We were given a room on the top floor where bathroom was almost like a crawl space. Really noisy location.

Caroline (1/5): Disappointed - So disappointing. The ‘deluxe’ rooms were in a poor state of repair. The towels had holes in them! The wardrobe consisted of 4 hooks and 2 hangers in the bathroom. There were stains on the walls and holes in the plaster. The breakfast was rudimentary - sachets of instant coffee, children’s yoghurt and a chocolate bar in a packet. We had requested 2 rooms close together but were 3 stories apart! And in 40+ years of travelling, I have never stayed in a hotel where it was not possible for the staff to call a taxi for us. Unbelievable. The owner/manager was unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel is indeed 600m from the beach but if you are making your way back to the hotel at night, on foot, choose your route very carefully to avoid the broken glass, drug addicts and prostitutes.
Stefanie (5/5): nice atomasphere but average maintainance - The hotel boutique has a familiar charme The rooms looks nice and are friendly and with much detail equipped, but the maintenance of the furniture and the bathroom is a little bit low. If one consider this for backpacker than its nice. ( for instance,loose buttons at the sideboard etc., no cupboard for clothes, no hangers...)

And when you close the window to block the noise you have literally no air to breath in the summer. But personnel provided us with a ventilator. You should ask for it immediately. :)

Nestor (8/5): Nice quiet place - Great location on top of a hill near the presidential summer residence. Very quiet, though in 5 minutes you could walk to a bohemian part of town that seemed a lot of fun. I was there for the marathon, so no partying for me. Good breakfast, toasted sandwich brought to your room. There is no official parking, but we always found a spot on the street just outside the hotel. It was November though, maybe it is more difficult in the middle of summer.

Alejandro (10/5): - El hotel es hermoso. Es una antigua casa de época amueblada elegantemente en uno de los cerros más importantes de Viña. A menos de dos cuadras hay calles repletas de bares y restaurantes para ir a comer o tomar algo, queda a unas 6 cuadras de la playa y del reloj de Viña. El desayuno es completo, y la atención es super amable. Lo único para criticar, es que nos tocó una habitación en la que el baño estaba separado del cuarto, en otra habitación, ya que (según nos explicaron al llegar), no podía remodelarse por ser patrimonio nacional...y 5 de las 10 habitaciones tenían el baño incluído en la misma, y 5 por fuera. Era algo incómodo tener que salir de la habitación y cruzar el pasillo para entrar al baño. Exceptuando eso, el resto todo perfecto. La cama SUPER cómoda, el wifi funciona bien y la decoración es impecable.
Oliver (10/5): B&B mit gutem Ausblick - Die Lage des B&B ist relativ zentral und der Strand lässt sich auch gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber etwas klein, wenn man mit zwei Koffern reist. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück mit frischem Obst war auch sehr lecker. Kann jedem dieses B&B nur empfehlen!

Being coming to chile for last ten years 6 times a year. I have nevet paid it before. It is not tied in to the payment method. I have filed a claim with local IRS.
Martina (10/5): Hotel aconchegante e limpo - A nossa estadia no Chocolate Manor House foi excelente. A única surpresa que tivemos em um primeiro momento foi que o banheiro, mesmo sendo privativo, era fora do quarto. Mas como eram apenas dois dias, ficou tudo bem. O café da manhã era excelente, o atendimento também, pessoal muito atencioso.
