• Laura (9/5): Comodo, tranquilo y bien ubicado - Muy buena ubicacion cerca de la estación, habitación relativamente amplia, hueco para dejar cosas personales en la cama, baños muy limpios, personal amable, mandé mi maleta desde este hostal al siguiente y fue muy facil. Zona de estar con cocina equipada De la calle a la recepción no hay ascensor, ojo (es un piso eso si). Luego ya en el hostal si que hay. Hay que descalzarse para acceder a recepción, un poco fastidioso.

• Alexandra (10/5): Wunderbare Unterkunft - Die Atmosphäre ist besonders. Sehr familiär. Es ist top gelegen. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr hellhörig und da natürlich nicht alle Rücksicht darauf nehmen, kann es gerade beim Schlafen unglaublich stören. Sollte man durchaus vorher bedenken.

• William (3/5): Would not recommend at all - It was rather clean, checking in and out was easy. Extremely tiny, the futon might as well be the worst thing I have ever slept on (by far), the bathroom is really small, you hear everything the neighbors do so if you happen to come across people being super loud until 4am, there is no contact given to you on the noise notice. The washing machine is paid which was just another nasty surprise on top of that.

• Camiel (7/5): Prima hostel - We hadden de traditionele familiekamer met tatamimatten en futons. Het was leuk om een keer te proberen. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte was prettig. Dicht bij het station. Er was weinig interactie tussen de gasten. De kamer was duur in vergelijking met wat we elders in hotels kregen.
• 8slowtravels (10/5): Our favorite home base when in Takayama. Highly recommended! - This is our second time in K's House Takayama Oasis and we still had a great experience. We chose to stay in a private double room this time and were surprised that it was bigger than what we were expecting. It also had a table with a small tatami area for lounging. They also upgraded their washer which was a plus. It's very near the train station and a short walk to the nearby shrine. As with all K's hostels around Japan, the lounge area is welcoming and the kitchen is really nice. The staff are all friendly & helpful. Would definitely come back next time we're in Takayama. Nothing

• Duncan (9/5): Cozy accommodation in the heart of Takayama - Great location close to the bus station and they have a nice common area. K’s house accommodations always make you feel at home, and Takayama is no exception.
• Jeff (8/5): Very nice and clean place that has a good location. Rooms might be a bit small if fully booked - It’s close to the train station and city center. The place was very clean and well maintained. Luckily I had a dorm room to myself because the place wasn’t busy. But if 4 people with bags were in the room it would be very tight space. The rooms were pretty small and there wasn’t too much space for luggage. I would have preferred free towel service.

• Olivier (6/5): Confort simple, bien placé mais bien trop cher pendant le Spring Festival - L’emplacement est bien, proche de la gare, pas loin du centre historique Il s’agit d’une auberge de jeunesse avec des dortoirs, et sanitaires communs, et quelques chambres doubles avec salle de bain privative. Nous étions dans une chambre double avec sanitaire privée. Le confort est sommaire mais suffisant. Ce qui me frappe, c’est le rapport qualité prix : nous étions deux jours avant à Kanazawa et pour le même prix, nous étions dans un hôtel quatre étoiles, proposant tous les soir un apéritif gratuit et le petit déjeuner inclus, avec un espace Lounge disponible toute la journée. En rien comparable avec le K’S de Takayama qui ressemble plus à une auberge de jeunesse. Nous y étions pendant le Spring festival, Peut-être est-ce la raison.
• Joel (9/5): great hostel next to train station - Lovely hostel, located very close to the train station. The japanese style rooms aregrat, and it proposes very nice extras: great kitchen, free tea/coffee, laundry (cleaning and drying), umbrellas when needed and even shoe dryer!
• Annemarie Johanna Maria (10/5): Fantastisch verblijf! Super schoon, gezellig en vlak bij het station!!! - Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf van 2 nachten gehad bij K's House Takayama Oasis. De locatie is perfect: op nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het station en bij aankomst werd ik heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte is ontzettend gezellig met comfortabele banken en tafels die voorzien zijn van oplaadpunten. Een absoluut pluspunt was de tafelverwarming, heerlijk! De keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien en er is gratis koffie en thee. Ook de aanwezige wasmachine en droger zijn erg handig en de wifi werkt uitstekend. Ik verbleef in een vrouwendorm voor 4 personen en dat is erg goed bevallen. Het bed was van alle gemakken voorzien: een eigen leeslampje, een veilig kluisje voor waardevolle spullen en handige oplaadpunten direct bij het bed. Het matras lag heerlijk en het dekbed was erg fijn, waardoor ik fantastisch heb geslapen. De badkamer en toiletten bevinden zich buiten de kamer, maar zijn modern, overal brandschoon en de douche heeft een heerlijk warme, goede straal. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen!!!

La habitación olía feo, el cuarto estaba lleno de polvo, los baños estaban sucios, debías alquilar una toalla si quieras bañarte. Tu mismo tenias que tender tu propia cama y creanme que no es cosa fácil. El precio mas elevado para hoteles cápsula. Habían muchas mejores opciones a precios mas bajos pero muchas creanme. Fue el peor hotel de todo mi viaje sin ninguna duda.

And we just did the settlement the next morning. Loved the kitchen where we could make our tea/coffee or make some hot noodles, because due to the hours, we couldnt find any place that's still open. We used the family room (Japanese style room for 4 person). And it's very convenient for we have ensuite bathroom and spaces to put and open our luggages. The premises has lift, which is a huge plus for us. Recommended!

• Thi Mai Lan (10/5): - Phòng hơi nhỏ nhưng sạch sẽ. Bếp siêu nhiều dụng cụ nấu ăn, có 2 bếp nên gần như bạn có thể nấu ăn mọi lúc nếu muốn. Rất gần bến xe nên rất thuận tiện, xung quanh cũng có nhiều chỗ bán đồ ăn, gần khu phố cổ. Thang máy đi từ tầng 2 nên hơi bất tiện nếu nhiều hành lý, mặc dù khách sạn có thể hỗ trợ.

It was quiet while I was there and all the guests were friendly and respectful. Free coffee in the morning and very well equipped kitchen.

• Sofus Emil Mertz (8/5): Charming Hostel in the heart of Takayama - Charming location in Takayama, walking distance to everything. The staff was great, very accomodating and had some nice reccomendations for food and what to see. There is a nice lounge with a kitchen, nice to talk to other travellers over a cup of tea. The rooms are also nice, but not the newest design, but great value for money. Very close to the train station.
