Nadin (9/5): A Charming, No-Frills Stay Between Merzouga and Fes - Stayed here for a night while breaking the journey from Merzouga to Fes. This is an unpretentious place, and it doesn’t try to be anything it’s not, which is exactly its charm. The owner was warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive, doing his best to make guests feel comfortable. It’s not a luxury property, but it delivers what matters: a restful, pleasant stay. The room was a good size with a nice shower. That said, as many have pointed out, the bed and pillows were on the firmer side. A lovely touch was the welcome tea by the pool, and breakfast was thoughtfully arranged on the balcony. Each couple was given their own space around the property, which made the morning feel relaxed and personal. A solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable stopover along the route

Jorge (9/5): Estancia tranquila en un Oasis único - Lugar muy tranquilo con acceso directo al Oasis, excelente servicio y comidas. Las habitaciones son amplias y los espacios de descanso muy tranquilos. A la hora de la comida se llena de grupos de paso al desierto.
NARINDER (8/5): Easy place to stay en route to Merzouga. - On the main route to Merzouga. In the Ziz Valley with walk behind the accommodation.. it was a stop off and ticked all the boxes. Not an issue but the pool was cold.

Tara (10/5): Perfect spot to stay in the Ziz Valley! - Unassuming from the front, this guest house opens up into an oasis. Friendly greeting by the staff, very helpful and courteous. Wonderful room and facilities. The dinner was absolutely delicious and a generous breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the Ziz Valley.

Merlinn (8/5): Mooie onderbreking van Fez naar Merzouga. - Mooie kamers, schoon ook. In de warme maanden een heerlijk zwembad. Behulpzaam personeel. Wasje gedraaid en opgehangen op het dakterras. Wij zijn vanuit hier op tijd naar Merzouga vertrokken en hadden daar al een mooie dag in de woestijn 🐪. Erg harde bedden voor zijslapers. Wandelen in de oase is niet echt mogelijk vanaf de accommodatie.

Federico (10/5): Best host we met in our trip, especially for the food - The building is really beautiful, with an amazing view on the oasis. The food was incredible and the staff was really welcoming and nice. The room was perfectly clean, and really hot also during winter time.

Bernhard (9/5): Midnight at the Oasis: Freundliches familiengeführtes Hotel - Das freundliche Hotel liegt an der Verbindungsstraße von Er-Rachidia nach Erfoud, also dort wo alle vorbeikommen die zum Erg Chebbi wollen. Der Verkehr hält sich jedoch in Grenzen und im Hotel und in den Zimmer merkt man davon nichts. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und mehrsprachig (auch deutsch). Die Zimmer sind freundlich eingerichtet und sauber, die Betten bequem. Von der Dachterrasse eröffnet sich ein wunderschöner Blick über den Palmenhain des Ziz Tals. Eigentlich fehlt noch ein beschilderter Rundweg durch die Oase, um mehr über die Bedeutung der Dattelpalme und de Landwirtschaft der wirklich schönen Oase zu erfahren. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Das war blöd.

Aniko (10/5): Clean rooms with great view, recommended as a stopover between Fes and Merzouga - It was all clean and refurbished, personnel was kind and helpful, they gave us a tip for a great viewpoint of the valley. There is an amazing view from the rooftop. Freshly pressed orange juice. Breakfast was OK, with pastry, which was not fresh. We did not ask for omlette.
Brigitte (9/5): A great stopover between Merzouga and the South - This hotel offers large, well set-up rooms, hot showers and an on-site restaurant. The staff member taking care of us was very friendly and helpful, looking after us very well - he also spoke excellent German. The one thing clearly below the standard of our other riads and hotels was the food. This hotel caters to large groups, and the dinner and breakfast we got felt a bit like the leftovers from other guests. We spent a very quiet night (apartfrom very little road noise), as we were the only guests. When the hotel is full, we imagine this to be quite different.

Willem (8/5): Goedkoop en basic, maar met ruimte voor verbetering. - De prijs–kwaliteit is correct: het verblijf was heel goedkoop. Vriendelijk personeel. De accommodatie is heel eenvoudig en zou wat extra aandacht kunnen gebruiken. De familiekamer en het sanitair verdienen een opfrisbeurt en het ontbijt was vrij beperkt. Door de ligging aan een drukke weg is het niet zo rustig. Een vrouwelijke touch in de inrichting en verzorging zou zeker een meerwaarde zijn.

Simão (9/5): So welcoming! - The hosts are incredibly welcoming! It was so nice of them to not only offer me welcoming tea but also sitting with me and have the tea with me while having a nice chat. The place is beautiful and you can visit the "oasis" on the back. The food was incredible and they let me park my motorcycle safely on a family house on the other side of the road.

The food was very tasty, and vegetarian friendly. The person who responded to my quieries was welcoming and informative. They went out of their way to get a fan for us, as we prefer fans to air conditioning. Much appreciated! It was a convenient stop over between Merzouga and Errachidia, where we were catching a flight..

From giving us great recommendations to personally checking in on us, Muha’s warmth and care were unmatched. He truly made our stay memorable – he’s simply amazing! Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get the chance to meet Muha!

Stephen (10/5): If you plan to spend any time in the Ziz Valley you must stay in the heart of the oasis at the Maison Jardins Vallee de - Wonderful location with amazing service and delicious food. We also had a three hour guided tour of the oasis. Our guide was also the very talented and friendly cook who prepared traditional Berber meals for us during our stay. Nothing…everything was perfect.

Michelle (10/5): The perfect stop before flying out of the desert - Extremely great value for a clean, quiet, comfortable stay with great staff! It was ~1.5 hr from our desert camp and 30 min from the Errachidia airport which was a perfect mid point for our early return flight back home from the desert. The manager arranged a very early 200 MAD shuttle for us which was extremely helpful so that we wouldn’t miss our flight the next morning. It’s surrounded by palm trees and date trees so it’s really beautiful and the pool is well maintained. The AC is powerful and the dinner was delicious. Nothing! It’s a humble rest stop so this place is definitely a 10 for being so affordable and such a great value.

We got sick on our Trip and the owners were very kind, they helped us by cooking vegtabels for us as we could not eat anything else. We can recommend to stay there! In the back of the house there is the oasis. Everything was perfect.

Carlos (9/5): Very good hotel in the middle of the oasis - The staff was very friendly, the room very comfortable and with good climate control. The view of the valley and the canyon from the hotel were superb, as well as the sunset and the possibility to watch incredible starry nights. Not far from there, there is also a breathtaking viewing point over the oasis Unfortunately there was a fire over the oasis a few years ago, burning many of the palms. The water sources are also diminished. All this due to the effects of global warming. The farmers were also affected by this. The local community is trying to repair the damage by planting again, but it takes time.
Claire (10/5): A great stay in a wonderful location - The room was clean and very large with a nice view over the pool. The top roof balcony overlooking the palms was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very large and also of good quality. We had the optional dinner there and it was also very large and good. The pool isn't heated but was very large and clean a great asset to the hotel. Also to note that free parking is just outside the hotel. We will be back again! We couldn't think of anything we didn't like.
Masaru (10/5): perfect stay for the Ziz valley - Perfect stop in the Ziz valley. Very friendly staff, especially Hassan ? (Sorry if I got your name wrong!) The dinner was excellent ! Lovely Moroccon salad and kefta tajine. The room was also very good, huge bed !! Thanks again for the lovely stay ! Maybe some little detail, like the pillows that are huge 😅, but I think that's kind of typical here.
