DIANA (9/5): Short break in beautiful Cape Town with champagne weather and accommodation to match. - Wonderful breakfast. All very fresh and beautifully presented either inside or on the patio facing the beautiful fynbos garden and mountain. Big comfortable nicely decorated room and bathroom. Huge downstairs area with plenty of place for seating in different areas. Beautifully decorated. Honesty bar was appreciated. Good coffee available all day! Very light because of the huge sliding doors and windows all round. Lovely Ros looked after us. She is very attentive in a non pushy way. The location, in a very quiet cul-de-sac, is great to get to most places that we visited. Parking in the garage was unexpected and appreciated. A fabulous find for me. I will be back.... if there is availability. Pity there was no Netflix, but DSTV is available.
Susan (6/5): We stayed on a very hot night and unfortunately there was no sirconditioning and the fan stopped in the middle of the ni - It was in a convenient and quiet location No air conditioning and no screen on the only access to any air on the room and this then let in mosquitos!

lauren (9/5): Lovely location, made to feel very welcome in this lovely guesthouse - Lovely location, made to feel very welcome by Barbie (stepped in to manage whilst owner was on vacation) and Thandi in a beautiful home setting. The open plan indoor/outdoor areas make for very easy living. Friendly, tasty breakfasts. Bathroom/toilet in room 1 is not very private - need to know your partner very well if sharing the room together! Would benefit from more and more easily accessible plug points for charging/using various electrical equipment.

A spacious garage offers secure off-street parking. The breakfast was a fantastic combination of fresh fruit and cooked food. A place to spoil yourself at.
Lise-jo (10/5): A brilliant & beautiful stay! - Ros and her team are wonderful hosts, and the photos of the guesthouse don't do 30 on Grace justice; this spot is absolutely breathtaking.! This is definitely a place that I'd come back to. The rooms are comfortable and serviced daily. The breakfasts were exceptional (especially the coffee & smoothies), and the atmosphere of the house was welcoming. Nothing. This is a gem of a spot! I wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Breakfast was fabulous; fresh and imaginative fruit salad and cooked options. Very nice location with wonderful view of Table Mountain. Mosquitoes in room. It would have been good to have had a mosquito net or window screens. Limited plugs available by bed made charging devices overnight (whilst still having them close by) rather difficult.

Brendan (8/5): In all respects excellent aside from the our room. - Beautifully situated and a very pleasant host. The common areas are exceptional and pool and garden are world class. Our actual room was a disappointment. A very small room facing the road and the bathroom was essentially in the room. There is a street light in your line of sight which means keeping the curtains closed at night. It did not feel at all private and when one exists she shower you feel exposed. If one compares the description of this particular room on Booking.com it does not match up. I am sure the other rooms facing the garden and the pool are much better. They had a kettle in the room with a coffee tray but no obvious plug point which meant having to look for a plug point - just not very classy. The room was badly conceived and entirely out of step with the rest of the property.

She made a very good breakfast and we were allowed to use the kitchen and the common living room, which was very helpful for the stay with our baby. We felt like home away from home and can totally recommend this place for a vacation in Cape Town!

I was moved to a room I didn't book and wasn't informed prior as I on my arrival I was told this by the owner that she moved another guest into the room I booked prior to my visit. I wouldn't recommend this place to solo travelers with short accommodations as the owner has no principals nor ethics in management.

I was let in by someone who seemed surprised to see me and told where room was but no other information given (wifi codes, breakfast times etc). Not the most hospitable experience.
Gail (10/5): A home away from home but with better views and a beautiful garden - A beautiful home where owner Ros goes out of her way to ensure your stay is perfect. The rooms and shared area have been beautifully decorated and the garden with views of the mountain is stunning. I was made to feel at home and Ros insisted on making me dinner when delays at the airport had resulted in a late lunch and my thoughts of foregoing dinner. The book in each room giving all sorts of advice to travellers is invaluable and any additional info is available from Ros. Wi-Fi is available and worked well. Safe garage parking is an additional bonus. Struggling to find anything

Ros and her staff are super kind and friendly humans and helping wherever they can. They made our stay feeling like home. Everything is exactly like described on the pictures. We defenetly going come back one day.
jane (8/5): An oasis of calm in a busy Cape Town - Lovely house, beautifully decorated...has been transformed from a private home to a five bedroom B&B. The owner Roz Stettyler lives in and has the main suite upstairs which is large and lovely with a big deck...the other rooms are somewhat smaller...I had, I believe the nicest of the five downstairs at the back with a very comfortable king size bed, lovely shower and a small deck with a table and chairs...breakfast was good, well-cooked by Festus, the Malawian houseman, and his wife Lucia keeps everything clean and tidy...and there is a large living area with huge TV so I watched sport and CNN to my heart's content...all in all a very pleasant stay...Roz is a charming host...
